Excellent location, all basic needs are very close by. Special thanks to Madam Therea she took care of all requests and went out of the way to help us..made...the stay even more comfortable.....just avoid the taxis outside the hotel...use uber instead

The staff is friendly. The rooms are super clean and spacious. The hotel is in the centre which makes it convenient. They offer breakfast but the selection is limited and its more of Indian food. They also offer a shuttle from and to the airport but their charges are a bit high. I also liked that they have scales in the rooms which isnt common for lowbudget hotels. If i visit Tanzania again i wouldnt mind going to this hotel again.

Very great hotel. Downtown and only a 15 min walk to the ocean and ferry to Zanzibar. When we arrived there was something to help with our bags and take us to the front desk. The stuff was great and very helpful. The rooms are clean and cozy. Depending on the size of the room you order, they can be quite large with microwave and a small fridge. The breakfast buffet in the morning was simply yet fresh.

Loved my stay, the staff were always on hand, at reception, the concierge, helpline. They were very helpful and courteous. Room Service was excellent. The breakfast was Abit flat and needs some flavours plus more options laid out. All in all, Id recommend it.

Plain and simple hotel. We maybe paid a bit much for it when we booked, but it wasnt bad. Their complimentary breakfast was good! They had a combination of Swahili food (even masala chai, yum!) and basic breakfast things like waffles, cereal, and eggs that youd expect to find at an American hotel breakfast. The hotel will do airport pick up and drop off for $25 (they will wait with a sign outside the airport doors) or you can risk haggling at the taxi pool and possibly get a ride cheaper (taxi prices went from $35 to $20 in the 15 minutes we were waiting). Staff was really friendly. Room has good AC and a ceiling fan. Additional bonus, its very close to the Zanzibar ferry terminal.

Traveler from the US— Great experience! Rooms were clean and customer service was excellent. Close proximity to a few restaurants, a street food market, and a bank for exchanging money.Only negative is breakfast could be a bit better, but I’m just a picky eater. For the price however, I cannot complain.

The location is good as the main business district is very close .. 15-20 mins ..The rooms are more or less like a studio apartment and are spacious as such.Our room had its own kitchenette with a microwave and everything..The breakfast is ok and restaurant dishes out standard Indian/ western cuisine ..The service level is good and staff are by and large helpful .Recommended for business or casual travellers ..

The hotel is well located - in particular if you plan to take the ferry to Zanzibar. The staff is very helpful and made its best during my stay.Few hiccups: dirt and hair behind the bathroom door and noisy electronics appliance which made it hard to get some peace and quiet.

Stayed for one night, the shuttle from DAR airport worked very well which was a relief. The location of Tanzanite Executive Suites, close to the ferry terminal to Zanzibars, close to shops and a range of food options plus the friendly reception of the generally very friendly staff made this place a good choice for us. We wondered if the outdoor gym is really ever being used. Funny to see anyway. Breakfast was so so rather, rooms spacious.

This hotel was amazing. We were upgraded to the three bedroom suite with three bathrooms. Very clean. The staff were polite and always ready to go the extra mile. The breakfast was superb. They offered us a taxi service at a reasonable rate and were at the airport as promised, to fetch us and when we were ready to leave, they were happy to organise another taxi to our next destination. My husband Michael myself and adult daughters, Cassandra and Julie-Ann can honestly recommend this hotel. Be surprised.

Awesome place to stay at. The hotel staff will treat you like a king! The rooms are spacey! And the view from the open rooftop gym is breathtaking! It is also located right in the middle of town! Good for bussiness trips. Fruit vendors sell fruits next to the hotel probably available probably all night long. Id definately stay here again.

The rooms are nicely furnished and safe. The staff is friendly. Its very well located (close to the ferry and the center city) but can be difficult to get to by car. If youre in an uber be sure to help your driver find it as some of the roads around are only officially for buses.

Great hotel with very nice and helpful staff. A guy from staff named Jaffar was extremely helpful with any of my requests, he should be the manager of the place. Besides, the breakfast is good, rooms are clean, rest of staff are all very polite and have good English skills and can help u with suggestions of where to eat in the neighborhood and such.

Location near Zanzibar ferry terminal. Great customer service and very friendly staff especially Shazall. Free breakfast and it is the best. Clean rooms and entrance. Easy to find. It costs around $20 taxi ride from the airport. Breakfast starts 0630 to 1000.

Centrally located on Bus Raoid Transit system. Easy downtown eccess. Zanizibar ferry terminal nearby. Affordable. So many eateries nearby. So many worship houses nearby. Unbeatable location quality price.December 2019. This place no longer offers lodgings and is now a dedicated apartment building. There is a large wholesale electrical and electronics supply company. They do sale retail as well. The shop is the best in East and Central Africa

Tanzanite gets five stars because they are something that Ive found exceedingly rare at hotels everywhere else in Tanzania: reliable.I stayed here three times in a month, and the second and third time it was a relief to arrive. They always rush to grab your bags, everyone remembers you and says welcome back, and they get you checked in quickly.Its not the most luxurious hotel but its consistent which again is rare in Tanzania. They have great bathrooms, a flat screen TV, and clean rooms. They hit all the satisfactory check marks at a reasonable price! If you want to spend more for true luxury there are other options but if youre looking for a friendly, reliable, consistently good hotel at a good price... Tanzanite Executive Suites is it!

The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We (my wife and 2 children) stayed here two times and each time the experience was the same. If I have the good fortune to visit Dar Es Salaam again, I will probably stay here again.

Not similar to the photos in internet, however neat and very friendly staff! Dirty showers (full of women hair everywhere - no discrimination please)! Payed 70€ for one night and in my opinion it is way too much for the quality they offer back. Thats why the 2 stars.But if your looking for a close place to the Ferry, one night passing by here will be ok.

Good location. Close to the Zanzibar ferry and close to everything in the city. The hotel offers transfer to from airport to a very good price. Nice and friendly staff. The breakfast is ok.

Clean and comfortable rooms and amazingly friendly service. The location is also very convenient in a lively area with a lot of food places around. Breakfast time is from 6:30 to 10 am.

Clean and safe hotel in the center of Dar es Salaam with very friendly personal. Enjoyed my stay, nice breakfast buffet from 6:30 to 10am with everything for a good start into the day - even with Masala Chai. The hotel also offers airport shuttles for 25USD (57.500 TS) and luggage storage if departure is rather late. Checkout is at 11am which is also rather late for East African standards. Thanks for being so welcoming at reception.

I changed my review because after having stayed several times and having noticed many minus points (dirt in the rooms, poor breakfast service, etc.) I often went to work and I adapted, but this last time they treated me like a tourist to pluck considering that I go there about 2 times a month, the gentlemen have made me pay in TSH 2500 for every dollar even knowing that the daily change was of 2330TSH per Dollar.You have lost a customer and other possible customers, Thanks a lot.

Good service, but best of all its a block away from some of the best Indian street food anywhere, like ordering from the streets of Mumbai. Also a short walk to a diverse variety of shops and local street vendors selling coconuts, in-season fruits, etc.

Wow. Very unpleasant. Wifi is hard to get.Staff cannot make their own decisions. No communication between staffs. Staff cannot do things with priority. No guests or alcohol allowed. When asking for something it takes ages. Staffs are unpleasant and difficult to talk to. The longer you stay the staff feels customers as staffs. In gym everyone is not from the hotel (i thought no guests in the hotel). Everyday the cleaning style changes (sometimes 1 towel or somtimes 3 towels) All of the taxis infront want to rip you off. My colleagues lost some money (no guests so guess who? Staff? Cleaners) but cannot do anything (whats the security camera for?) Or at least do not even try to help. Feel very safe. Very good hotel. Highly recommended :)

It is a three star hotel located along the morogoro road.It is very good place because it is safe and comfortable.There is gym there in the top floor if like exercising.It is near zanzibar ferries terminal.TES they provide good services i hope you will be satisfied.Free WIFI and so on everything there is good.You dont have to worry about the safety of your luggage because at TES will take of each and everything you have.

I didnt stay at this hotel but visited and toured. It is very good hotel apartment with one to 3 bedroom suites in the middle of the city. It is clean and reasonable price with clean facilities. Ample car park at the basement

In Dareslam, I think it is a best hotel , we like it because it is near the restaurant road , where you can enjoy the dinner.Also it is very justified for Muslims as no alcoholic in the hotel.

Awful place. If you are in position not to go there. I advice not to go there. Staff doesnt speak English and completly uncooperative. WiFi is not working neither gym. Breakfast is just bread and some things what are probably leftovers. Managerial team is unhelpful. Also this place has problem with thieves who are among the staff and work under manager. This place should be closed by authorities. So far I know that there has been made official investigation on this place.

Great hospitality, the managerial team are there to help you in any way they can. Rooms are spacious and tidy. The food is well prepared and has several varieties. All in all a good experience.

Overall presentation of our apartment was excellent, all a/c units in working order. Maid service every day, fresh towels and bed linen changed. I wish we had requested a room over the other side, not nice to be woken up every day by morning prayers over a loud speaker. The thing which we found a little odd was no visitors or guests to visit while staying there. This all depended on who state at reception, sometimes they allowed guest but most of the time not allowed. Tanzanite Manager please re visit this area.The main problem we experienced was with the restaurant staff. They never understood English and spoke very little English. You ask for 1 thing and end up with another. One particular morning I placed an order for a omelette, clearly pointing out what I wanted in it, this member of staff shook her head as to confirm she understood and requested a pot of black tea. After a few minutes my omelette arrived, it had nothing in it, just a plain Jane omelette. My tea which I order came with milk already added. The restaurant opening time 06:30, this was never the case at this time they were still preparing breakfast no tables made up either. Staff talking in groups while 1 on her phone checking Facebook. These type of mishaps happened everyday, not a nice way to start your day. The rest for the staff were all OK. Main suggestion, have a crash course for restaurant staff in English, to speak is one thing but to understand is another story completely. And finally the management failed to tell on the renovation works been carried out during our stay, which meant there was not Jacuzzi or sauna available this is completely unacceptable.

If you want to live in luxury, then Tanzanite Executive Suites is the best place to stay in Daressalaam. Conveniently located in the city center, walking distance to the Dar-Zanz Azam ferry. The bedroom was amazing, big with a very comfortable bed. The living room had a sofa to sit on while you enjoy your cup of tea or coffee. There was a microwave, big tv, fridge and kettle. And packets of tea, coffee, water, milk and sugar. Another surprise were the plates with cutlery. Included in the price was a delicious breakfast with made to order eggs. The omelettes were delicious. We would like to thank Mr. Hasnain, Kenneth and all the other guys at reception. Also would like to thank the woman in catering. I think her name was Shenaz. She personally helped my mom during breakfast and the two also had a nice chat. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to live in comfort and style.

Conviently located in the centre of oftown walking distance to many places, dont really need a car when your here unless u need to go far, many food options available around this location, hotel is clean well maintained, staff are very friendly and accommodating

Its an excellent hotel to stay. Location is very convenient. Only issue is Rastaurant is nor operating as some renovation is going on. Otherwise lot of food joints nearby.

The staff here is very attentive and efficient. The room was very comfortable and the complementary breakfast was quite good. I will stay here again next time Im in Dar.
