We liked this restaurant very much. The waitress is a very nice and smiling lady. The pleasant interior. WiFi is good. The food is more than just tasty and has many exotic souses. Most of the food is spicy, all of it is vegetarian. There are many options for vegans. For 59000 shillings we had 2 main dishes, two starters and two tasty fresh juices. The portions are big enough. We had a late breakfast here and were not hungry until evening.

We loved this place so much we came back a few times. The masala dosa are delicious. The onion pakora is super tasty and the eggplant and potato curry was amazing.The owner is super friendly and staff are nice.If you are looking for something vegan and gluten free and delicious, this is the place for you.Wish we could have more meals here. We ate so fast we forgot to take photos of the food but trust us it’s delicious.

Indeed an explosion of flavours! Great variety of Indian meals I dont know from Europe, also with just a slight spiciness level which I can tolerate. Didnt miss meat at all although Im not a vegetarian. Very good prices for the quality of the food.Make sure to bring cash cause no cards accepted.A must when in Stone Town!

Nice atmosphere, and good food.We were a group of 7. Ordered some food only to be told after 1 hour that the item is not available. Placed another order but the food didnt come for half an hour. Ordered some juice. Served few glasses and were told the juice is finished. Ordered another type of juice but were served few glasses and told out of stock. We were there for 1 and half hours and only 2 of us had full meal, the rest left partly hungry.

Amazing spot for Indian food fans 💚Food& drinks: The place offers only vegan and vegetarian dishes, I came with a friend who eats meat and he still loved it!We were in love with dosa masala, came back again the next day.There is no alcohol on the menu, we enjoyed salted lassi and lemon/ mint juice.Service: friendly hostess, the wait time is ok. Everything was clean.Atmosphere: the design is rather colourful with paintings on the walls, there is one big room with street entrance and indoors

The food here is as delicious as it could get. I am an Indian and Ive never eaten such authentic Indian cuisine outside of India! Highly recommended if you are craving for a hearty meal served with lots of love and interesting conversations with the owner Jay :)

You must go here. Food amazing. We also stayed in the BnB. It was clean and very convenient. A little hot without Aircon but the price was great. Jay the host was brilliant and we had some lovely chats. Check out his clothing store too.

We had quite a high expectation but all our food were super salty...we couldnt really get any other flavors because of it. Mango lassi was perfect and was the only highlight unfortunately.

This is a great place to taste authentic Indian cuisine. The food is delicious and the owner is the warmest host who will give insight into the Indian culture in Zanzibar and even show you his art studio next door. Highly recommended!

Food is delicious. But! The owner is super nice & friendly, and gave us some tips how to survive in Zanzibar. It’s was like a breath of fresh air! Hidden gem in Stone Town for sure. 5/5

If I could give 6 stars I would. Authentic south Indian meals. I had Masala Dosa and Paneer Partha. The staff was super friendly and nice.

A vegetarians paradise. The menu contains only delicious Indian food without meat. They took pani puri and onion rings from the appetizers. Main courses: Paneer with tomato and onion sauce, vegetarian curry, rice. Everything is very tasty and spicy. Homemade Indian sauces are brought if necessary to add spice.

Excellent Indian cuisine in an oasis of calm in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old town.And especially gratifying for me:there are the South Indian delicacies dosa, idli, utthappam, of course with sambhar and coconut chutney, something that I havent found often outside of India and that I particularly appreciate. The food was delicious, the portions were rather small and relatively expensive for Stonetown, too expensive. Many tourists.
