Horrible customer service. The lodge is floating in the ocean. You will NEED to boat to get there. They provide free boat transport to and from the lodge but you will need to get a Tanzanian simcard and the correct number to call them to get you. This will not be apparent when you arrive. It is a close walk from the ferry from Dar.The lodge is 2 rooms on the top floor that are small and not very private. The lower floor is the bar and restaurant area. However, aside from the provided breakfast, any food needs to be placed hours in advanced even for a small menu.So you will be going to the mainland often. The other lodging they have is a separate floating house, but staying there entails the need to flag down the staff to boat you over to reception for breakfast or to be taken to the mainland. There is little communication between the owners/upper management and the staff on the boat, leading to confusion and miscommunication. The staff on the boat have a laid back attitude that translates into not handling requests in a timely manner. Also, if you are looking for a gentle rock to sleep, it will not last, due to early morning winds and traffic from the ferries.Overall, I would not stay again or recommend to a friend.
