The food is really good and we enjoyed it here. The taste was really the best.Great ambiance and the open place is so good. This restaurant is located near the beach and very easy access to the beach.Do try this place for some great Indian food. Paneer tikka was really outstanding.Overall a good experience.

Very tasty flavourful food, good service. We enjoyed the fish coconut curry and lentil curry. The naans are also amazing.

We ate here so many times during our time in stone town. Its an amazing place! Everything (!) we ordered was absolutely delicious! The portions are really big, the food always came after something like 20 minutes. And the staff is so friendly! We love it there, even if the prices are not the cheapest for zanzibar (but also not really high).

This was my first visit to Monsoon in 13 years, and was I as impressed and hugely satisfied as I was all those years before! Stepping in to this beautiful venue, one is lulled back into what could be described as the heart and essence of Zanzibar and its People. The live music was just perfect! Service is excellent! The menu offered a great selection of items, catering for all preferences. Our selection of mains, a variety of sea foods, was perfectly prepared and I am at a loss of words to describe just how intensely delicious and fresh the meals were! Thank you for creating a perfect memory of an evening well spent! We have already recommended Monsoon to many!

Everything was perfect.The food was so delicious, the services was great. The food was suppose to come after 20 minutes but it actually came early the drinks(juice and cocktail) were awesome and the prices are very reasonable.I would recommend it to anyone looking for great food and best service at a good price.

I walked in for my first meal in Zanzibar, following a recommendation from a friend. I did not get to experience taraab music because I came too early but the food was very entertaining, offering a great variety of flavours on one plate. It was, however, pricier and did not provide a wow factor as in other locations.

I really liked this restaurant because it has a lovely atmosphere inside or at the terrace, and the food was really good too. Also its located by the coast right at the center of all Stone Towns touristic highlights. If you are ever by the Old Fort, go to check out this restaurant, even just for a coffee.

The food and ambiance are quite nice. The interior has subdued lighting, with low tables where customers can eat while sitting on cushions on the floor. The dining room wasnt air conditioned however, and being that it was quite warm that evening, we opted to sit on the patio, which has tables and chairs rather than floor seating. The patio is situated on the street and can be a little noisy, but this is also part of the fun of Stone Town, and there is also a distant view of the ocean. The food we ordered was very nice (grilled prawns and crawfish), and though the portions were a tad small, the main courses came with a variety of side-dishes and prices were reasonable. Reservations are recommended just in case.

Thanks for the most delicious Indian food ever! Up there with the best! Paneer and veg Briyani so tasty. (Also- they serve alcohol which is not common in Zanzibar). Defs recommend

We had delicious Chicken Tikka Masala for 15k TZS. The service was friendly and fast. It was possible to pay by card.

Delicious perfectly seasoned food, huge portions and just great service. In addition, the place is close to the park where in the evening the locals come to exercise, do capoeira or gymnastics - all this can be admired from the restaurants terrace

To flee!!!!Ce restaurant est une catastrophe.Nous avons été malade après avoir mangé là-bas la veille de notre départ...Nourriture trop (beaucoup trop) pimentée, sûrement pour masquer leur manque de fraîcheur.De plus , il ny a pas de place pour manger à lintérieur et la en terrasse est une mauvaise idée dans ce voisinage.Si je pouvais ne pas mettre détoile du tout et leur envoyer linspection dhygiène ça eviterait beaucoup de désagréments, cet endroit est un danger.

Large and flowery terrace. Somewhat lazy waiters and a weird interior. He is Muslim and that is why they have a tea room inside for meals where you have to take off your shoes. Quite expensive prices for the quality of the food. It is not a wonder considering what is around.

A good restaurant serving local cuisine. On Saturday possibility of dinner sitting on pillows accompanied by local musicians, we spent a very pleasant evening.

Inside the restaurants of Stone Town it stands out for its location in the center, as well as for its decoration.It has a nice terrace for dinner and the service is very friendly.However, the food is no big deal for the prices it has, so I recommend opting for other cheaper restaurants where to taste Swahili food.
