What a cool place!Best vibes we had on whole Zanzibar. Great music, acrobatics, rasta vibe. Mostly tourists but at sunset alot of locals aswell.A bit pricey but so worth it.

Little bit of a challenge to get to if you are riding your own scooter. Please be aware of that but if you are going by car not a problem. Luckily I had a local kid hang with me the whole way there guiding me through the puddles and rocks to make sure I didn’t pop a tire.The bar is astounding. Sitting right on the beach next to a mini forest that has chairs and beds to lie on. The beer is cold and view is perfect for the sunset, so as long it is not cloudy.11/10 would chill at this place all day

Beautiful place for drinks while gazing upon the Zanzibar sunset. Slightly pricey but nice places to rest and good music. One of the best bars along this stretch of beach. Not sure about the food as I was only here for drinks but seems pretty decent

Service is slow and careless, wish we had chosen another spot for dinner. Although the place is crowded, the sunset and the freshly grilled seafood made up for it.

Cool bar with lots of seating on the beach with a nice sunset. It is on the east side of the island but on a peninsula so you can see to the west for the sunset. Drinks are 17,000 TZS. The beach is nice that it is on and cool to walk around. Worth a stop. Can hire a boat to take you or take a taxi.

The magical thing about Kae Beach is the sunset. An east coast sunset! The vibe is cool and people there are just chill. Its really not a place to eat a good meal, though. We like to play volleyball or throw the frisbee.Great for sundowners!

At first good impression, but servise is awfull and slow (but even for here waiting 20mm for drinks!!!). We had for kid pineapple, poor quality, come one on such island not.having good pineapple. And expensive!

Fantastic bar on the beach.White sands!Can be accessed through the sea by a variety of crafts (speed boats, catamarans and dhows), as well as by road through winding bush roads and a collection of hamlets.The food is great, but the service can be improved.A bit more multi-linguism will not come amiss.Best of all, the amazing sunset

Interesting place. Swinging hammocks, tables, and a bar. Pretty relaxed vibes, right near the beach.

Great view from the place, especially at sunset. Nice chill lounge with good cocktails and acceptable seafood. Can be very loud and crowdy at times, as many people come here to enjoy their evening.Nonetheless, worth visiting if you are ever in this side of the coast.

Very expensive for what you get - 4 scrimps (literally) and a plate full of franch fries. You cannot swim on this beach. The sunset is very romantic and the beach fire with music is very beautiful!

The sunset acrobats are magical, energetic, and flamboyant... truly, a delight for any traveler!

Great atmosphere and vibe!! You can get cheaper cocktails elsewhere, so a wise word to those on a budget: If you’d like a gin and tonic, for example, order a shot of Konyagi and Krest (soda water) on the side. Combine them yourself for half the price and you have yourself a cocktail!! 😉

Great Staff! We have been here for 2 weeks in the resort and the beach bar was our big pool. We played football in the sunset and listened to same good raggae music! Asante Sana!

This place has the beachbar look! When I looked closer, many Sunbeds ware broken, beachbar area had food leftovers in the sand and staff seemed to be focused on how to act populair than providing service to their guests. We’ve enjoyed only one day here. The food and drinks ware good. During the day it’s not so busy. Around sunset many tourists arrive by tourbusses to see the sunset. Not the atmosphere I’m looking for on a vacation.

Chil and relaxed place. Minimal bar but the view and the vibe, especially if you are catching the sunset, are like no other. Amazing send, just walk at beach and youre in a truly magical place.

The drinks are abusively overpriced. And to be honest Id be OK with it if they werent so badly prepared. Frankly, Id just go to any other bar in the beach.

We went there mid-day & the place looked nice but the prices were double if not more than double what other bars in the area offered. Felt a bit overrated..
