Friendly place. Jacob and Joey were nice and helpful. Breakfast room is a bit small and bathroom would deserve improvement, but you feel at home there. There is a nice rooftop to enjoy fresh air of the evening. And its very well located, with Lukmaan just on the corner. No sign on the door so you have to trust Maps.

Value for money. Nice cosy place owned and managed by Jacob, a friendly and hospitable owner. A/C is great and making the nights really comfortable. Okay breakfast, good rooftop view of stone town. Generally, some improvements on outlook or painting would even improve the place. Hard to find since no signpost on the wall.

The receptionist was friendly, taxi to pick me up from airport was on time. The place was really clean. The owner was also very friendly & offered me a free lift back to the airport. I really enjoyed my stay there & would recommend it to other tourists. The receptionist also showed me around & their rates are very reasonable. Defenately a must see for a budget traveller. Easy to locate & close to amenities.

This bed and breakfast is neatly located to all facilities - Lukmaan restaurant with is gorgeous Swahili cuisine, Bank with ATM, Mrembo Spa, Darajani Market and the dala-dala terminal. All Historical sights are within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable, clean and nice. The host, Mr Jacob is a wonderful person, very helpful and polite. He can arrange you tours and transfers.

The house is typical zanzibari. Need some work inside...but our one night spent there was not bad. Breakfast basic. Air conditioner so noisy we had to choose dont sleep for the noise or for high temperature...well located

An old Oriental hose well designed for tourist. And a genteel men, Mr Jacob with his team take cares very well.

We loved the atmosphere, the staff and the beautiful view from the rooftop.

Very cool place. Maybe there could be some general cleaning but there may be a short stop. Working wifi also need to be advised several times. Staff very helpful! Close to all town attractions. And inexpensive. For this tasty breakfast. One star deducted for dirt. The rest is great :)

Positive: ableNegative: you were treated like a roommate here. It means washing machine is usable ... But then costs 1000 per garment. Water failed for several days. At 6 oclock in the morning the TV is loud. The kitchen is not usable and the bathrooms really run down. The breakfast ... very lacking. Staff OK. I did not feel well.

The cost performance is goodToo many at the entrance to the alleyIt was scary to get in and out because the local people were screaming~~^^

There is no mosquito net. It is a feeling of a local guesthouse and is not recommended to a woman.
