A cute little cafe in the heart of Stonetown. Good and fast service. Food and drink are tasty! Havent tried their dinner menu but the snacks and sweets are amazing!

We asked for a chicken wrap and if there is belt pepper inside because my partner who ordered it has an allergy with belt peppers. The service guy said that they can do it without. We ordered for takeaway and we were the only (!!) guest! And of course it was with belt pepper. And not with a bit... With a lot!! I had to eat it and listen to the angry sounds of my partner. But the sauce was good therefore one star more

Im glad I gave this small cafe a shot because their croissant with beef bacon is REALLY GOOD! The vibe is very chill and quiet, located in a small alley. Free wifi/internet with several power outlets, the tables are ergonomic for working (perfect height) and the chairs are comfy too.Asante sana!

Cafe Turquoise is so pretty!!! I love their decor, and service is great.Food is flavorful! I had chicken salad tramezzino and freshly squeezed orange juice. And treated myself to a slab of chocolate brownie!!!

Small but aesthetically pleasing café with decent food and drinks. Best to go in the morning or evening when it’s not too hot.

Good prices, great salad, and friendly service. The cafe is also really nicely furnished. The pesto pasta tasted a bit odd and overcooked but generally a good lunch.

The food and ambiance here is just amazing!! Everything on the menu is just incredibly delicious! Especially the spicy chicken burger and spaghetti bolognese.. Also, their cakes/desserts are to die for! This has got to be our favorite place to eat in Zanzibar!

Quaint and good value for money. Their food is absolutely some of the best within stone town. The seating along the wall is comfortable but the chairs arent. Something I wish could be changed. I would definitely go back for the food over and over regardless.

A hidden gem! While strolling through the streets of stonetown I found this small beautiful place by coincidence. Very fresh and nice designed atmosphere and ambience, plus super friendly and competent service and on top very delicious and healthy food. I tried a salad and was also able to add on the things I liked, moreover on my repeat visit I had my first Baobab Juice there and it was delicious. Will come again once I am back in stonetown.

What a great place. The owner is amazing, he was friendly and welcoming and very helpful even just before closing time. Their hummus and egg plant dip are to die for too. This is a must do, dont skip this place while in Stone Town.

I was recommended this place to eat a cake or pastry with my coffee but there was none, I was disappointed. The prices are a bit high. Superb decoration.

Been a regular customer of this little hidden turquoise gem in the heart of stone town. Nestled in the famous small alleys of stone town is this small yet flavourful cafe serving yummy breakfast and lunch dishes with a great selection of coffee, teas and smoothies. Worth a mention are the little desert treats. Highly recommended stop in the heart of town.

The food is good - we’ve tried croissants and waffles with coffee.The food hygiene raises some questions- their CHEFS are changing in the toilet. 🤢We didn’t see it until we’ve finished the food , otherwise we wouldn’t touch it .This place has to undertake a serious sanitary inspection.For that kind of “expensive” place it’s outrageousP.S . All the guests can see the owner’s reply further down - COOKING in the same attire you’ve changed in the TOILET is a high standard. ( I didn’t mentioned anything against the stuff using the toilet) . So don’t flip it over.I haven’t mentioned anything about our budget either , so dear owners can leave assumptions with themselves.

A TINY CAFE THAT LEAVES A GIANT IMPRESSION. Located few min walk from forodhani and port in a quiet part of znz town. The food was out of this world. Went with a bunch of friends - we all ordered different meals and each one was a work of art .... even the salad. Highly recommend giving their prawns a go. Their juices will leave you feeling refreshed. The decor is just right. No place for kids to play. But the staff is extremely children friendly. Definitely going back!

We only had two juices, so cannot comment on the food. Prices in general seemed high for the area, and the juices were very boring and watered down… we were quite disappointed as the ambiance of the place made us expect a lot more for the price…

I absolutely love Cafe Turquoise! The food is delicious and consistent, the service is impeccable and the owner is really friendly and accommodating. This is by far my favorite cafe in Tanzania - combining food, service, atmosphere (and speedy WiFi too!) I give cafe turquoise an 11 out of 10! I highly recommend this cafe as the best lunch spot in stone town.

Really nice setting and very well maintained. The food is decent.

No complaints, had Boabab juice and Middle Eastern platter, with a side of chicken strips. Everything complimented the next so nice little brunch. Nice breezy, (fans and ac unit) mellow, brunch experience. Food came quickly as well.

Nice clean cafe, but we were waiting 50 min for coffee and after that another 30 minutes for sandwiches.

Delightfully different. This warm, inviting, fairly priced and frankly cool cafe feels like its airlifted from hipster Italy. A little tricky to find (map is correct) this may be the best place to work from a laptop Ive found in Stone Town. Note if you have a hangover all their extensive shakes look like the appropriate cure.

Super cute new casual healthy cafe. Nice vibe. Interesting juices and smoothies. We only wish that they had dairy milk alternatives like almond or soy milk. The waiter and owner were super friendly. The prices were very reasonable too. We would definitely return.

The best food weve had in Stonetown. We had the Mezze board, the vegetable tempura and the spring chicken all excellent and so fresh. The cafe turquoise iced coffee was also so good. Lovely decor and very comfortable too. Highly highly recommend.

Lovely minimalism meets outstanding food in generous portions and using only the freshest ingredients. I am a picky salad eater and their healthy selections both for smoothies and juices and salads & co convinced me 100% to come back again!If i was leaving in town I would spoil my palate daily with their delish offers.Thanks to attentive owner and fast service!

Highly recommend this adorable cafe near the Doubletree in Stonetown. Loved the decor, friendliness, quality of the food and menu options. I’m vegan and they were incredibly accommodating. The green goddess smoothie made with coconut milk is the best drink I’ve had while traveling Tanzania over the past month! Kudos to the staff here!

Very quiet and tastefully decorated cafeteria. The coffees and especially the cakes are exquisite. We tried the mocha and chocolate cake and it was 10! price value for money good. Highly recommended

Modern, small and cozy café. The menu can keep up with the usual restaurants in the area. Only the prices are significantly lower, the quality is good and the portions (compared to other restaurants) are big enough.
