Food and drinks are super tasty. The best grilled calamari Ive ever had. Mocktails and smoothies are delicious. Such a lovely place. Totally recommended.

Food is so overrated, the same food i got in Nungwi for half the price. The food was salty and there was small dead ants.The location is amazing honestly.

This was by far the place with best sunset view and reasonable price in Zanzibar. Drinks are about 4,000. Food are about 15-20,000 which is reasonable compared to the crazy prices in Zanzibar. Its location by the beach is a great advantage, suitable for sunset and also just for watching locals walking on the shore.

Juice is ok. Food came cold, we had sea food plater and fries. It was definitely not fresh prepared. But weirdly we waited for it for quite a while.

Good food for a good price and a fantastic view. I wish they had more selection in meat dishes but otherwise I can recommend this place.

Spectacular view and location, right next to the beach and overlooking the water. Unassuming restaurant shack with decent food. There was a bit of a mix up with our order but the food was good if not a bit overpriced. The staff was nice.

We loved spending our evenings here. Yes, the beach is not the prettiest. BUT the sunset is spectacular, the young waiters and waitresses are very friendly. We loved how they were really laid back and danced in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the choice of music. The song muhudumu from the first evening is still stuck in our heads

A nice place by the sea. It is on the outskirts of Stone Town, near enough forodhani to walk there and far enough to limit number of unsolicited offers you get from everyone in the street. Coffee and tea are ok and reasonably priced for a tourist place.

Im not quite sure what the hype is about here. I understand how nice is it to sit on the water, and the view was great, but it was also on a beach full of garbage and the service/food wasnt good.I got a cheese and tomato sandwich after I was told the Samosas werent available, and I had to tell the guy twice what I wanted because I literally forget the moment he walked away.The prices were good, but not THAT good. Its cheap but I would have rather spent that money at Zanzibar Coffee House.The spiced coffee was good, but the sandwich was just OK. Not really warm, barely melted cheese. Fries were crispy.The seating is also just OK.I wouldnt come back here, but can understand the appeal of sitting and drinking a coffee looking over the ocean. The spiced coffee was very good, and I would come just for that and the view.

Very nice café with a perfect location for the sunset. The Spicy Coffee, traditional coffee in Zanzibar, is a must. All the staff has been very friendly and kind. You cant miss it.

We frequented Baboo everyday during our stay for an afternoon smoothie and masala tea. The price is right for an ocean front unpretentious cafe. There was also excellent people watching as the beach in front is used for exercise and football.

Great location and good food! We asked for a banana and chocolate pancake (delicious) and for scrambled eggs and everything was nice. They also changed our order to be vegetarian and accepted a change in our drinks. Nice and helpful staff. Would recommend!

The pictures are deceptive. We only saw a small outdoor seating area. Its a pleasant-ish ambience. The food is so-so. Not clean. We bit into a piece of plastic and found strands of hair in our food. Not appetising.

Great spot right on the water. perfect place to watch the sunset while enjoying some fresh juice. I didnt try the food.

The first place I sat down at in Zanzibar. It gave off this coastal Italian vibe through its furniture yet it was clearly Tanzanian. Tanzanian through its staff and through its foods and drinks. If this is also your first time here I highly recommend you try the national soda, Tangawizi. Its blessed stuff. The cafe also comes with a kick-ass view of the beach.

Very rich smoothies and samosas too. The site is very nice to hang out and watch the sunset. A lot of kids get together underneath to play soccer and the atmosphere is very good.

Delicious fresh, normal price. Nice to sit in a quiet place on the ocean. True, the dirty water from the cafe poured right onto the beach and smelled of something, I do not claim that they are to blame, all the good fellows arrange garbage dumps there.
