What a fantastic experience! I highly recommended this establishment. My partner and I went to Zanzibar for 10days. We booked ourselves into the Beach Baby Lodge and stayed in the beach front chalet. The staff be it the reception cleaners or waiters were amazing. They were so helpful with answering every question we had to ask, they went the extra mile to arrange our daily tours and make sure we were comfortable and satisfied at all times. The food was delicious, their menu has something to please every taste bud from a variety of breakfasts, seafood options to nachos or a burger. The owners are also incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure that all their guests needs are met. Thank you Beach Baby Lodge for the most magical experience. We will be back!

A great expansive menu that tastes really good. They also have fair menu prices in Tanzania Shillings and NOT USA dollars which would make you end up paying more for your food. In all a very good dinning experience with good food.

Beautiful sunsets on the rooftop bar. The service was friendly and the prices were good. The upstairs toilet let the place down a bit as they really smelled, and the floor was quite wet. However, we enjoyed the food and the location on the beach was excellent.

As for the restaurant. This was the best one we have been in Zanzibar. We went there few times, trying different type of dishes from the Indian ones to also Sea Food. We also had comparison to other Sea food in different places. By Far here it was biggest and most tasty here. Also the view is very nice to the beach.

I visited for lunch and happy hour the next day. Sit on the upper floor for the amazing view!Food was very tasty and atmosphere was happy and fun.

Such a fun place to hang out in the afternoon and around sunset. They accommodated us well and let us use the patio sun beds during the day as long as we ordered drinks and lunch. The bartender was skilled and quick, until it got crowded when service became painfully slow. Would return, though

Delicious food and gorgeous view! Our best meal on the island so far. We ended up coming 3 times while on Zanzibar. The chapattis and ceviche are fantastic as are the cocktails. Bartenders really know their stuff here! Dont miss the BOGO happy hour deals that coincide with sunset views😍

On the first day we were welcomed by the friendly staff and management. All bedrooms have airconditioning and are neat and tidy. Food portions are great and tasty. Literally situated few short metres from the beach. Highlight was definitely the views and the kind, courteous staff working on site.

Good atmosphere, great happy hour deals (buy one, get one free) between 5pm and 7pm. Nice view on the beach/sunset, nice service. Highly recommended

We visit the bar and restaurant and it was amazing. Food - almost like an European burger. They have special price offers for food amd drinks as well in happy hours (2 for price of 1)

Such a nice place to sit down and relax.The food is so delicious! We had Tunasteak and the Fish Curry ... we can recommend it so much! Spicy, tasty and huge portions! The stuff is friendly and fast!

Excellent place with a really cool bar up top. Welcoming and friendly staff that help you with whatever you need. Great place for a drink in the evening with some darts or ping pongIt was so good we came back two nights in a row to enjoy the meals. Their tuna curry with rice is bang on. I could eat it every night.

What an amazing place.If you are looking for accommodation in Nungwi, I would most definitely recommend Beach Baby Lodge.Their staff is AMAZING, the food is EXCELLENT and the owners are hands on.They have a restaurant open for everyone and, WOW, absolutely amazing. My favourite dish was the meaty platter because the Mishkaki is delicious.They have a Rooftop Bar, the atmosphere is FANTASTIC, the service is good and the cocktails are breathtaking.We would’ve loved to stay there, but did not book far enough in advance, which is just proof for how good this place is.I would rate them 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved Beach Baby. Came twice here, once for lunch and once for dinner. Amazing food, some of the best catch of the day we had while in Nungwi. The seafood is delicious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The view is stunning. Perfect place for swimming, sunsets, games, and most of all fab food. One of the best restaurants in Nungwi and better than the higher priced hotels!

Fantastic place in a great spot on Nungwi beach. Food and drink was great and has the best sunset from the rooftop bar. Staff were excellent and made us feel welcome each night, which were large nights 👍😏 10/10 would recommend.

Our sea view room was right on the beach, which was lovely. Some of the staff at the restaurant wasnt friendly, with poor English (which is fairly common in Zanzibar...). But the food was tasty, with a good variety; with food and drinks reasonably priced. Bed was quite comfortable compared to other places in Zanzibar.

A must visit....Welcomed like a family by the owners, all the staff were very friendly. The food is incredible lots of options including all freshly delivered seafood every day. Perfect place for a cocktail at sunset overlooking the beach. Lots of games to play in the evening if you like drinking its the best bar in Nungwi.Will be returning in the future.

Great place. We were at several places on beach but this was the best. Staff is amazing. Friendly and always smiling. I saw the kitchen and it was very clean, food was perfect and not so expensive

Is the first time when I go in a place with such good reviews and Im so disappointed. We went there for dinner and none of us enjoyed the food. The fries were cold and had a bad taste, from oil fried too many times. The couscous was also cold and tasteless. Both of us had tuna steak in black pepper and was too raw and couldnt really enjoy it. Sorry to give a bad review, but please try to be more careful about how you serve the food. Thanks

Nice view, looking over the ocean, especially from the first floor terrace. Staff is friendly, but service veeeery slow. They forgot our order, they forgot to bring the check (although asked twice) and when it came it was wrong. Not sure if by mistake or not. The food was tasty and the portion quite large. You can pay by card but theres a 5% extra charge. The cocktails were ok. Average prices.

Perfect spot for sundowner drinks on the terrace. Excellent drinks/ cocktails and good generous portions of food. Nice and professional service staff and relaxed atmosphere. A bit away from the crowds which is an additional plus. Love it!!

Stunning views down to the beach and a bit rustic but beautiful with a very welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly and effective and the food is the best that I had in all of Nungwi! Definitely a must eat and drink when you are in the area

Lovely and lively vibes. Lots of activities close to watersports. Good location close to town. Beautiful beachfront. Good for South African entertainment and the braai was delicious.

We have recently arrived home from an amazing trip in Zanzibar, to be honest we spend most of our days at Beach Baby. The Sunbeds are so comfy on the sea front and the food and drinks at beach baby are incredible. The staff and owners are also fabulous. We would highly recommend. Stacie and Tom X

We had an awesome experience staying at Beach Baby Lodge. Its a little Gem at Nungwi Beach.The facility is small which makes it a lot less anonymous than other hotels. They have a fantastic rooftop bar facing the sunset where you can enjoy a cold drink while having dinner. We will definitely come back again

We enjoyed our trip to Beach Baby lodge as it is a cozy place with an amazing rooftop bar. The rooms are clean, good maintained - even if the water pressure sometimes is too low, it is still a good stay there. You have a private beach where you can chill and enjoy the waves. Also locals sellers are forbidden to enter the area - which is very positive from time to time. During the night the hotel is secured by a Massay worrier. We had a nice New Year’s Eve with fire dancer and would stay there again if we come back one day.

Excellent restaurant and bar in Nungwi, best place for breakfast, lunch, sunset or dinner. Staff are friendly and professional. Kitchen is open and run very professionally. Roof top bar is really pretty. Very atmospheric and good vibes. Prices are in tzs not in dollar which is nice. The place is clean, food is tasty. They have a pretty fire on the beach in the evenings and do bbq. Top.

Small charming hotel on the north coast of Zanzibar. The hotel is on the most beautiful tropical sandy beach where you can experience the most amazing sunset while swim in the ocean. The staff is friendly and welcoming and does a great job to make your stay at the hotel the unforgettable vacation you always dream about. The rooms are large and stylish and clean. The food is amazing. Can only recommend the hotel highly.

Amazing views, Amazing food

Great view, the waters crash against the wall at high tide. Had the Master Breakfast which for Zanzibar was great. TSH 20,000 came back the next day and had the Omlette TSH 12,000 and My Wife had the breakfast for one TSH 10,000 food was great again. Would definitely recommend having breakfast at Beach Baby Lodge every day for your stay in Nungwi. Our waiter Tahir service was efficient and friendly. Free wifi offered while having your meal.

Very overprized and without quality.We waited for food 1,5 hours without explanation. Small portions. Not very good food. We ordered basket and they brought partly different set of food. What they brought was different (cheaper) than what was on menu.Nice view but quality and prize makes it not worth it.

Great place to stay in Nungwi. Awesome stuff, nice and clean rooms. Have small calm beach without beach boys (with compare of another near beaches).They have 7 % extra charge if you pay by card - be ready for that :)

This is for restaurant only, very good food. Try the fish burger, big and tasty!On the negative side their cocktails are pricey for no good reason.

Great place right on the beach. Clean an comfortable rooms, good service and lovely roof top terrace with food and drinks.
