Perfect spot for evening meal. Great prices. Fresh fish on display (you can basically choose). Fish was over cooked though: freshness lost to the grill - it all tasted a bit the same.

The restaurant is located on the beach.The service and the food are really great.I tried lobster tuna and octopus, and all were amazing.Cmpared with other locations, the prices are cheaper and, I recommend it dearly!

Where should i start?Our by far worst restaurant Experience in our 3 week holiday in Tanzania.It was Christmas Eve and they had way too many costumers for their size.We waited half an hour to be served.Then we waited 2 hours for food. After 2 hours i ask the waiter if the food is coming. He asks me what i ordered and when he realise I ordered the Octopus, he tells me they have run out of Octopus.. We wait 40 min more and approximately 3 hours after we sat down we get boring calemari and a salad for My partner...Positives? You sit on a beach and it feels Nice for your toes to touch the sand.

Best restaurant on this beach! Fresh fish and lobsters on the grill, French fries are home made ! Very local, nothing glamourous but if you come for the food, you will be happy! My favorites dishes where the prawn curry and grilled lobster

This restaurant gets 1 star for amazing view .I came to eat 18:30 I got my food 20:00And only because I was chasing a waiter .I ordered Lobster and Octopus and it was over cooked . Waiting 1.5h for food which is not eatable - that’s not fun. Luckily the food is very cheaper for European standards !

The best seafood 🦞 restoration in this area. Food is teasty, you can choose any fish you like. If you visit this place at ~7pm you have to wait 30-50 min for your order. This place accepts credit cards, transaction will be in usd currency.

The best place to eat on Nungwi Beach.Tasty rice and fish (King fish the tastiest).The only thing is the time waiting for your meal. It is extremely long, but it is the thing on the whole island, as people don’t rush there on Zanzibar.Cheap price and big portions.Highly recommend.

Honestly this was a pleasant surprise. You dine on the beach, you have a candle lit dinner, the freshest seafood grilled right on the beach. Seafood awesome, pizzas are awesome, juices are fresh and the prices are the cheapest compared to anywhere on this side of the beach. You could not possibly ask for more... Service is a little slow but that just goes to prove that the food is fresh and plus with such a great setting youre definitely not in a hurry to leave.

Good place for dinner with fresh seafood. Prices are ok. Services are good. Make sure that you order your food how to be cooked. If you have a problem, call manager. He will take care of you. At least he did it good for me. Enjoy your dinner here..

The restaurant offers tables on the Beach (in the sand area). Servis is kinda slow - but meal was very tasty. We were there at 20:30 and during 35 minutes we had our meal(kings prawns and tuna streak). Before 20:30 waiting time for meal is much more longer. Even though I would recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for an experience of fresh fish on a bbq - and we asked if the fish and prawns were fresh. Unfortunately what arrived on the plate was not any of the above.Wouldn’t recommend.

Cheapest and best seafood in Nungwi. You wouldn’t believe how cheap the lobster is here. I ate here three times in three days. I had the lobster pasta and she had the lobster curry. Crazy huge chunks of lobster in there wow. Make sure you aren’t there too late or they will run out of crab and you won’t get as much.

Great beach restaurant. We ordered all kind of fish here (best is Tuna and Jack Fish), very cheap and fresh. You can choose the fish from the table. Coctails notthing to try here, Wine definitely not recommended, Beer and water OK :)

The food is food and the view to, the have fish like tuna, king and dorado and you can choose and put they put it ob the grill. You can pay by card.

Great food, very cheap and right on the beach so you can eat by candlelight with your toes in the sand.Don’t expect fine dining- it’s pretty rustic, but that’s part of the charm.

I find it very dishonest to use local currency, convert it to usd at their home rate, then force you to pay in usd for credit card purchases. It means the currency is converted twice. Big fees ! Insist paying in Tanzania shillings !

Suleiman and his staff helped us celebrate our one year anniversary in the best way possible. The Coconut Lobster Currey was phenomenal! Left our bags and walked the beach at Nungwi for an hour or so and had an awesome time. Thanks, Suleiman and Abdul (for the ride from Stone Town). We had a great time!!!!

This resturant was recommended to us by friends, so we went there without hesitations and really enjoyed everything. It might be busy during dinner time, but we came a bit earlier and got our food server within shortest time. The food was amzaing, truly the best octopus and tuna on the beach.Around sunset time they bring tables directly to the beach creating more romantic atmosphere

Reading the reviews here, we arrived early and were the first table to make an order, but even after more than 1 hour we did not get any food. While at least 10 other tables received their food. We left without paying for the drinks. Don‘t come here. Other places are much better and faster.

Service might be a little slow, the tables might be a little skewed due to the beach slope. But the food was delicious. I’ve had a grilled tuna and it was one of the best tuna I have ever tasted. For 150 000 TZS.My girlfriend had grilled king prawns and she got 4 big pieces (instead of just 2 in Mama Mia restaurant right next to it). They were also marinated, unlike in other restaurants. For 180 000 TZS.We’ve been there 2 times and I can recommend it. I think this was the best restaurant on the beach at this price range. Thank you guys!

Id give it 3 1/2 stars if possible. The setting was stunning at night and you can pick your fresh catch of the day which is awesome. Cocktails and smoothies were super tasty too and very generous sizes. Now unfortunately there is only one English speaking staff that is the only waiter for around 25 tables. Wait time is above average for Zanzibar (expect around 15 min for service, 30min for drinks and 1 1/2 hrs for food.) and due to the waiter being overworked he did get all of our orders wrong. Once you look past this, the food is tasty and setting still provides for a very enjoyable evening.

Waiters were completly ignoring us. After 20 min of waiting to ve noticed, I went to ask for the menu by myself. Then 20 min nobody came to ask us what have we decided. So I had to call them several times. Even then afzer I asked do meals include sidedish they answered and dissappeared again. That story repeated one time before we quit and decided to leave hungry. After one hour of pointless waiting.

Fish and seafood kebap were tasty and right at the beach. We enjoyed!

Came here after reading reviews and was a bjt disappointed. Chose easy meals but took time to get them. We were the only ones, so i can understand they had to start everything from fresh. The menu didnt mention that the food was gonna be spicy but it came very spicy. Ordered pizza also but wasnt the best. Ordered pepsi diet but it was expired. They had 20% off on all menu items. It is right at the beach but i dont think i would go there again as it wasnt something so special.

A beach side eatery and bar with tables in sand. Great to hang out, and, hire a musician to play at your table. More locals and the cell service isnt great. Washrooms are in bad shape. Its a little out of DAR so arrange for your uber to come back in a set time or take a more expensive ride back in a taxi.

Best for fish lovers. Really fresh catch of the day. A big variety to choose by yourself. We had red snapper and 2 lobster for 18000 and 25000 TSchilling. Fish and lobster was really soft and not deadly grilled. Not too much food but for dinner good enough. We come again tonight.

Delicious food, but you should not visit this place in evenings. We waited for our dinner for more than hour despite the fact we were alone when we came there. Later it became overcrowded. So we decided to visit this restaurant only for lunches as its often empty that time

I can call it the happening place in Zanzibar. There is a lot of fun goes around here from morning to morning with whole night outdoor club while enjoying the smooth wind blowing from the sea.Also theres a Nice theme for fun and their price is really afordableI totally love this place

The Only restaurant we really didnt like in zanzibar, bad food, bad atmosphere, waiters unfriendly and the worst mojito that could exist. Taste like lemon juice concentrated I couldnt even drink it.We asked for water that we didnt have but they still try to charge us for it.Run away!

Tried few things there but seafood curry with coconut rice was my absolutely favourite--very tasty and generous portions. Dining right at the beach is another great experience of you come there in the evening.
