Had breakfast here, although good selection of salads etc, when we ordered the hot food the Huevos Rancheros didn’t come with the guacamole, when we asked the waitress she didn’t have an answer, we asked again and she said they had run out, but they hadn’t bothered to say anything when ordering. Additionally they delivered my “Canadian” pancakes without any eggs which were ordered. When I asked about the eggs she just said it would take too long to make them now. Also the pancakes were crepes, not Canadian pancakes. The restaurant seems disorganised, waiters don’t seem bothered or attentive to service, often just standing around. Surprising as this should be a higher standard restaurant.

Dinner on the beach,really wonderful!Accurate and caring service are the best things but also the food is really good. We tasted lobster,crab and the catch of the day...everything was perfect. the stars and the moon ended to be a wonderful night.A special thanks to Rehema that was really cute with us!

We had our last night diner at the Saruche restaurant which was really nice. The place is beautiful with a nice view on the beach.The food is really good and qualitative.A plus for the service which is perfect and personalized thanks to our waitress Happy!I do recommend!

Excellent food, excellent location, excellent staff, in particular Rehema made us feel very welcome and especially cared for! Only place where serving time is on spot! Definitely higher than any other restaurant we tried across zanzibar

The chef of this restaurant Ressel, managed to organize a cuisine for every taste: from English and Indian specifics to Franco-Italian cuisine. Everything is in the correct format, risotto is exactly risotto, mousse is exactly mousse and so on (see the photos, they were taken at night, but you will see how it will be). The seafood is the freshest, the ice cream tastes like Italian, the right cheese in the risotto, the time between serving is sufficient for a pleasant dialogue and enjoying the noise and the view of the Indian Ocean during a meal. The restaurant is located at the very edge of the sea near the Z hotel - you will not pass by. Prices: starters - $ 6-10, hot dishes about $ 14, desserts $ 6-10. The portions are sufficient (despite the fact that I have a great appetite).

Delicious! Really the best restaurant in nungui we have tried them all and really blah! But Saruch is above! The pasta is delicious the meat is tender the chicken and the beef!The fish is fresh and delicious !!! Very good food, however the quantities are very small. The setting is pleasant but identical to the other restaurants by the sea.The prices are higher than the other restaurants in the area while the food is just as good elsewhere.The waitress forced me to put a positive comment before leaving the restaurant and forced me to do it in front of her eyes ...

This restaurant pops up in the top rankings. Why????? The first time we tried to get here, everything was busy. OK. A couple of days later, a table was booked in advance. They came happy. But, in absolute terms, this is a maximum of 2 out of 5. Apparently due to reviews, you need to book in advance. Honestly warned that alcohol cocktails will carry 2 hours, as the bartender is very busy. Offered fast beer and wine. They asked twice about waiway - no result. Forks and napkins on request.The food was carried for over an hour. Tuna sashimi is normal. Octopus: in absolute terms - 2 out of 5. For Zanzibar - 4.Lobster - specially taken in the sauce so that they do not make a sole out of it, as they usually do. Ok, it wasnt exactly a sole, but it was so salty that there was no pleasure.It took over 30 minutes to bill and receive the change.Hope the restaurant owners read it. Whether anything will change - I doubt it.Hakuna motata!)Dont ask about prices - I havent looked.

Hello everyone, I have been to nungwi in Africa 2 times already and have been living here at the moment for 5 weeks, so this institution is the best in every sense, the best coffee, delicious food with restaurant serving, the only piece of civilization here, the staff especially pleases me, namely Said, who is always incredibly attentive to the guests and makes amazing coffee) I highly recommend!

No doubt Saruche is the best restaurant in Nungwi so why 4 stars, because Sashimi Tuna was not good, Im Japanese and I do not recognize this dish as Sashimi. otherwise the atmosphere was excellent, the service perfect. we had a good evening, thank you very much. November 2019 on vacation.

We had booked half board and could almost test the whole card and were almost always enthusiastic. We may have missed some more traditional dishes and local products (beef came from Brazil, for example). The service team was awesome.

My wife was tasty, but neither tasty nor satisfying to me. Most likely there is no fault of the institution, just not a good choice. This local restaurant is considered one of the must-see, since you can definitely go.

A really great restaurant with very good staff. We also tested other restaurants nearby. But the Saruche is by far the best, even if it costs a few dollars more. For this you get everything for topical conditions. A gem!

Very elegant and well-kept restaurant overlooking the fantastic beach. Really good food, great service and fair prices. Recommended the lobster tempura, very good!
