Lunch time is only Swahili menu.I ordered Pilau with fish. It came soon. Both taste and service are local style. If you want to eat cheap and fast, good for you.

Very good local cuisine for no money at all. I’ve had all different kinds of fried potato dishes and a biriyani with fish and all was extremely good and so low priced I couldn’t believe it. I recommend the takeaway if you’re not to keen on having the Nungwi roundabout as a view though.

Another local food restaurant in nungwi.Its cheap and authentic.I suggest to try rice, beans and leafy vegetables ( wali, maharage and mboga).Highly recommended.

What a great discovery! The food is very tasty and very cheap. Locals eat there mainly. The menu is not in English, but the staff can help you choose. We went there for lunch. They have different types of rice and a kind of chicken/beef/seafood/fish/octopus/vegetables curry, that comes along with a small green salad. We didnt mind the few stains on the table cloth.

The restaurant food it’s amazing, don’t wait it’s look local and cheap of course the waiters and the cashier are locals but they are very attentive listening, you pay cash though I didn’t ask if they pay with card.. thanks very much Al manna always I will be there for lunch

Cheap local food, do not cheat tourist.

We more or less stumbled over this nice little traditional restaurant. The chef is very friendly and offered us Zanzibari Pizza. It tatsed very good and also the other food was quite nice. We have been there two days in a row by now and planning to go there again today. I can only recommend it, if you are interested in some simple food, which tastes good.

Great local food at local prices. When I was there they served cooked meals for lunch and chapattis, samosas, kebabs that kind of thing for supper.

Ive been here for a dinner with some friends. We really enjoy that restaurant. Zanzibar pizza its a must for everybody.

Street fast food. Fast, cheap, tasty. I took Zanzibar pizza. 3000 pieces. Very tasty, more like a pie with meat and vegetables. Not greasy. Like a closed pizza. Filling: fried minced meat, egg and vegetables. Add vegetables and sauce if desired. They also have fries with vegetables and something like shawarma. I took it with me. Eaten by locals, tourists and tour guides. Its a pity I tried it too late.

Cheap, tasty, you can bring fish and lobsters to you for 2,000 shillings.

I ate here yesterday a minishaurma and a pie, lying on a dirty table in the hellish heat for no one knows how long. It was tasty and inexpensive, and most importantly, I survived and did not even get poisoned, so I probably recommend it) if you are ready to take the risk)
