We traveled through Tanzania with our 3 kids (high school students). We started with the northern safari route (Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). Then we took a domestic flight to Stone Town (Zanzibar). After two days in Stone Town, we traveled to Jambiani, in Southeast Zanzibar to relax for a week and enjoy the sun, sea, and beach. The whole trip was a great experience. Both we and the children had a great time! The trip was designed and organized perfectly by Bantu pori journeys. They tailored our proposal completely to our wishes as a family ......... the variety of places and high-end accommodations, the jeep with driver, everything was exactly as we wanted it. In short: a major success and highly recommended.Wish you guys more success and prosperity.Dave and Angie

I have posted this review on Trip Advisor too but , Since our trip to Tanzania went well and smoothly, I have to complement team Bantu Pori everywhere and to everyone i know....This company and its team delighted us with their services, from the first email exchange........ Until the return home. The 8 days trek was challenging, but worth the money and effort. Jimmy was not only our guide, he was our friend. The summit day to the summit from Barafu camp was the most challenging day for us, Jimmy and his assistant did everything they could to ensure we didnt endanger ourselves. We put our lives in their hands, and we never doubted their abilities to guide us.They maintained an encouraging us throughout the journey, and always kept at our pace. Jimmy was tactical in leaving camps early/late and accelerating/decelerating along the trail so that we avoided huge numbers of tourists. The team he managed was really extraordinary. From the food, morale, and efficient approach of working, they made a weeks long journey as friendly and safe as possible. Jimmy is a true professional at his craft, and exceptional manager of people both of go-getting clients (like us) and his hard working team. The last 3 days in Zanzibar at the beautiful Next Paradise hotel end our stay. A friendly staff with great service and extra food at a great clean site tastefully decorated great fast Internet room.Bravo and thank you again !!Bantu Pori Journeys, Please hire more people like him.

Just writing to express our great appreciation of the fabulous team at Bantu Pori Journeys for their outstanding safari support during these crazy Covid challenging times. It has always been a dream of ours to visit Africa and do a once-in-a-lifetime safari so about a year ago our group of 4 couples embarked on a mission to find the absolute best, most reputable safari company to travel with. After doing tons of research, we choose Bantu Pori Journeys to plan our trip to Africa in February of 2020. We plotted & planned every safari detail with Bantu Pori Journeys for our Migration safari. With the pandemic raging our first fantastic safari was postponed to February 2021. We couldnt have asked for any better resolution to our situation and wed also like to send a huge shout-out to our travel planner Baraka, who has endured our seemingly endless emails back and forth during the planning of our trip and through the duration of the Covid situation. Throughout they have been so supportive, positive, completely compassionate, professional, and willing to work with us, giving us incredible confidence. Our 7 day and 6 nights migration safari was well organized, our driver guide Kante was excellent. The parks were unforgettable.Day one: Tarangire National ParkDay two to Four: Serengeti National Park (Ndutu and central area) with a balloon rideDay five: Serengeti National park to Ngorongoro lodgeDay six: Ngorongoro craterDay seven: Lake Manyara National Park with bridge walkAll in all a really personal experience that you wouldn’t receive with a bigger company. For those looking for a good agency to make their safari dream come true, I really recommend this one !! See you next time for sure !! :-)

We booked a week-long safari in and around the Serengeti National Park and I have to say that from our initial contact with our planner, Bantu Pori, to returning home, nothing could have run more smoothly. We started planning after they lifted the travel restrictions in late May for an early August travel. We had a great flight deal with KLM, so it was a great starting point. So far we can recommend several few tips such as;1. Don’t overnight at Arusha, I think it’s safe to go directly to your lodge in the park if time will allow. I think parks are safer than the hotels/lodges in town. 2. Bring your own masks, hand sanitizers, or face mask or shield (We didn’t use our shield in Tanzania). 3. in your safari car, Seat at the windows. 4. Don’t join a group, it is better to travel private as we did than trying to save money joining a group and putting your health in jeopardy. 5. Take your operators safari guide advice. For our safari with Bantu Pori, KANTE was our guide/wild care-taker who was VERY professional, knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and made sure we had the best and safe time. He made sure we got to see as many wildlife as possible. He has lots of years of experience and he is fluent in English.Besides temperature readings at the Airport and at the park gates. Our operator also took plenty of measures to make the whole experience safe and fun. From Masks, Hand sanitizers, and social distancing. Everything they said they will do they did.In my opinion, Tanzania is safe than the streets in Europe. WHY? You will interact with few/very few people along the way, All the lodges and camps observe all the safety measures, The operators are trained and they observe the safety procedures….in the entire week we meet fewer than 10 cars in the parks….at our camps Serengeti Kati Kati & Embalakai Authentic Camp there were other guests but we hardly noticed them as we requested to have our meals in our tent.We were really impressed by the great nature of Africa, especially the Serengeti national park. Thank you again KANTE and the whole team Bantu Pori for your thoughtful organization of this safe & memorable extraordinary trip.As they say in Tanzania: Asante Sana & Ka Salama (Thank you a lot and stay safe)

Reputable and reliable tour operator.Value for money - 5/5My Transportation - 5/5My Meals - 5/5My Safari Guide - 5/5Game Drive - 5/5Accommodation - 5/5Just returned from 1 week in Tanzania. I did my research on destinations i wanted to visit (Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire national park and The majestic Serengeti park) then interviewed 4 different tour agencies. ‘Bantu Pori Journeys’ by far had more information, contacts and insightful suggestions for our trip. They were less expensive than the others for the same or better hotels, safari facilities and tours, and they took care of all our needs.Baraka was calm and confident, He was very attentive to my travel needs. He assured the planning was thorough and follow up calls were completed during the trip to be sure I was well taken care of.I experienced integrity and genuine care with Bantu Pori Journeys from the beginning to end of my trip.Since my return, I have recommended ‘Bantu Pori Journeys’ to numerous friends and neighbors. They are a first class outfit for the vacation of a lifetime in Tanzania. Baraka Molel at ‘Bantu Pori Journeys’ is the man to speak with.

True Customer Care and Professional Guides.I booked a 4 weeks tour with Bantu Pori Journeys including Kilimanjaro + Mount Meru climbing, Safaris and Zanzibar trip.Despite high constraints on my travel dates, Baraka managed to organize my trip as per my wishes and within a short delay. I had sent a request for quotes to more than 3 companies located either in US or Tanzania (Arusha and Moshi). Bantu Pori Journeys was the most competitive one in terms of offer and prices. The communications by email were sufficient to plan everything and questions were answered quickly. From airport arrival in Tanzania to my return in US, all the schedule has been respected, no issue with the transfers. The employees and their manager Baraka were available to fix all issues. For instance, they provided me with a warmer sleeping bag (required for Kilimanjaro climbing) and an electric plug adapter, all this for free. The safaris went fine, we saw all the big animals and the guide was friendly. Food was provided in sufficient quantities and quality was fine.Zanzibar was relaxing, Snorkeling in the Indian ocean, Spice tour, Local food center.WORTH IT !In summary, I would say that Bantu pori journeys is a reliable company which is focused on its customer wishes.Good luck on building your company Baraka!

My 4 buddies and I were referred to Bantu pori journeys and employed them to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. This was the best choice we made during our trip to the roof of Africa.Baraka the owner made himself very available for planning and was available constantly in contact with, throughout WhatsApp and Email the days before our trip for any last minute planning. He gave very speedy replies and was very efficient even though we made multiple changes throughout the planning of the trip. Hes as eager and willing to arrange your trip as he seems! We were very happy to meet him and the team who picked us from the Airport to a hotel in Moshi. Where we were introduced to our guide (Jimmy). They supplied us with everything we needed to succeed on our summiting Mount Kilimanjaro Uhuru peak Swahili Freedom peak. The food was fantastic, the tents and sleeping bags kept us warm and the charming personalities of the whole team who took much enjoyment in helping us because they clearly love their jobs!.After our summit day and returning to Moshi we mentioned wanting to check out a smaller Moshi coffee tour. Baraka set us up with a perfect day as we went on a private, small coffee tour and even hiked to an amazing waterfall. We had local banana beers….Very strong beers. This was very intimate as we were the only ones on the tour and as Alaskans enjoying the local life of Moshi residents, we appreciate smaller tours like the one Baraka set up!. This was an amazing way to finish our adventure. Thanks for everything Baraka, We will recommend anyone we know coming to Tanzania to you!
