If you are looking to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro I definitely recommend climbing with Eco-Africa. Kili had always been on my bucket list and Eco-Africa helped make that dream come true. We chose to do the 7-day Lemosho Trek and the experience truly exceeded expectations. From the time we arrived in Moshi until the day we left Eco-Africa made sure we were taken care of, even showing us around Moshi and eating at local spots. On the trek, the guides, chef & porters were all fantastic. Every meal was delicious (you will not be left hungry) and the chef even surprised my buddy with a cake on his birthday. Overall it was an unforgettable experience working with Frederick & the Eco Africa team. I highly recommend and look forward to reconnecting one day in the future.

I recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Eco-Africa Climbing and it was amazing, tough but amazing nonetheless.The team had a welcome crew for us at the airport, who then took us to our hotel and gave us a briefing on park rules and the climb in general. The guides were very knowledgeable about the terrain and were extremely encouraging.Shall we talk about the food and hospitality on the mountain? These folks blew us away with the quality of food served everyday we were on that mountain.The kindness shown by the kili fighters, Guides and management of Eco-Africa Climbing is one in a million. I will most definitely be letting everyone I know to patronize these folks!

Eco Africa climbing is a small Tanzanian company owned by two entrepreneur brothers: Fredrick and Sedrik. They try to promote an ethical way of climbing mount Kilimadjaro, with respect to the team of porters accompanying travelers.The accommodation, as well as the food, were excellent; and the portable toilets carried by one of the porters were a very pleasant surprise. The team of porters were very nice and very supportive when the first signs of altitude sickness started to show, and I made it to the summit thanks to them.The porters, or Kili-fighters as they are called, have the tough task of carrying all the necessary food and equipment for the journey to the summit, as well as setting up camp for the travelers. The price of the expedition is indicative of how many porters there will be, and thus how much weight they will carry.I have witnessed some porters working under terrible conditions, some of them didn’t even have proper hiking shoes. This made me realized how important it was to contract an ethical company for such a trip, where the porters are properly fed, equipped, and not overloaded with equipment.

I climbed Kilimanjaro with Eco a couple of weeks ago and it was a great experience! Everyone is very kind and professional. Before arriving I was not aware how large of a team I would have so take note that for one person I had a guide, a chef, a waiter, and 8 other porters! This company partners with an organization that supports fair and ethical treatment of porters so they must hire many to carry all of the tents and food for the entire trip. However they are all amazing! They are super supportive and encouraging. I had a blast and I highly reccomend them if you want to climb Kili.

I climbed Kilimanjaro with Eco Africa Climbing and 12 other climbers. The attention to detail was wonderful; each team member - the guides, chefs, and porters aka kili fighters - presented an air of joy, care, and total love for their jobs. They helped us every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. Where do I start from? 12 of us from Nigeria climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Eco Africa Climbing. The love, care and affection from the Eco Africa team was real. The team went all out to ensure we could summit. I could give a detailed review of each guide and would have only amazing words. I can only recommend Eco-Africa Climbing to anyone who wants to climb Kilimanjaro, and / or go on a wonderful safari in Tanzania.Eco-Africa Climbing is a local tourist agency that promotes environmental and social ethics and proudly (rightly) claims its partnership with the KPAP (Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project) project.They were fantastic from start to finish, responsive and very accommodating. They were able to concoct a tailor-made program for me according to my particular wishes and interests.Regarding the ascent of Kilimanjaro, they have done everything to make this unique experience as good as possible (excellent (and abundant) food, comfort, kindness and kindness on the part of the whole team, ... ) and so that the goal (namely the top) is reached, which it has! :)They also organized a tailor-made safari for me, which was fantastic from start to finish and allowed me to see beautiful landscapes and animals galore!Between the ascent and the safari they also kindly offered a small visit to the Moshi center / market as well as a tasting of a local dish (unfortunately I cant remember the name;)Thank you again very much to Eco-Africa Climbing for this professional, efficient organization, for their kindness, and for allowing me to make my dream come true!
