Good meals but way to much overpriced! The menu is in dollars and it has mistakes in description ( I thought it will be more touristic place) but the waitress doesn’t speak english. With all this miscommunication from four person group one person didin’t received the dish. It was 1,5h dinner spend with a lot of frustration but after all all have eatean the meals.

Very nice food! The stuff very cool and friendly! A little bit expensive for the standards of the island... But it is worth it!!!

We went for reviews in this place.Seeing the Spaniard inside (probably the owner) boldly ordered a paella for two ($ 36). What was our surprise when they brought our dish. It was a mountain of rice and 4 king prawns.After they told the waitress that we were unhappy, she replied: ok, enjoy :)) but this is probably due to ignorance of the English.After about 10 minutes the chef came out and asked, too, we replied that everything was gone, the chef, one rice, where the Spanish paella with seafood, he retreated back.We asked for the bill, paid and were about to leave as the chef appeared with a surprised face: oh, you are leaving already? The best place in Zanzibar to eat. Its Chef Carlos, the best on the island of Zanzibar and Africa, I would say. A restaurant that has nothing to envy to the best Michelin-starred restaurants.
