We loved this place. Small scale with an intimate vibe. The service was the best Ive seen so far. The restaurant service is shockingly fast with great Italian, African and Indian dishes. Great breakfast with fresh tropical fruit and pancakes. Perfect for families.

For the best food in Kiwengwa area, please come to Domenico’s resort and restaurant….by far the best dining experience we have ever had in Zanzibar. Domenico’s style is a bit like Chef Ramsey’s, but way much pleasant and human and pleasure to interact with. Domenico’s staff and restaurant servers are outstanding. Special thanks to Shani…what a nice smile and a great service every time she welcomes and serves us. Highly recommended!

The place is cozy, clean, welcoming and has amazing atmosphere. Domenico is a wonderful host and a fantastic chef. Best tuna steak I’ve ever had!Some elements in the room could do with a revamp, but overall the place is fabulous for a family stay.

Great food prepared by Italian Chef. Grilled tuna - the best on this side of the equator. Family-atmosphere do the rest, making this place really worth choosing for stay in Zanzibar.

Ideal for families with spacious bungalows around the pool. Good private beach but difficult to swim in low tide. Italian restaurant and most of clients Italian. Manager very helpful. Mattresses and sheets could be better.

Great owner/chef who caters to your every whim in the kitchen. They have a pool, restaurant, bar, situated on the beach, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, not much more one can ask for.

We stay at KBB over the Christmas and I have to say absolutely loved our stay. the staff were brilliant and the management and chief went out of their way to make it a warm and friendly place. I would recommend highly .

Simple but cozy and the staff are great. The beach is one minute walk away. Air conditioning is a big plus.

Small hotel. Bungalows for 3 - 4 people. Very calm cozy place. Purely. Friendly non intrusive staff. The owner, who is also the chef in the restaurant at the hotel, prepares excellent Italian food.Breakfast: fruits, pancakes, eggs in any form, juice, coffee, pizza are served in portions.For dinner, the menu changes every day. Very satisfying and tasty.The ocean is a 3-4 minute walk, the hotel has its own small private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. There is a beach towel in the room. Fresh water shower nearby.On the territory of the hotel Swimming pool with fresh water, showers.There are shops nearby on the beach, at low tide you can go, 15 minutes along the beach, to the coral reef with a gorgeous underwater world.

As always very excellent, I have been coming to kiwengwa for several years now and I come back here to Domenico to enjoy his excellent cuisine. Its like coming home, the kindness and courtesy of the staff are excellent .. I recommend you try it

Here one feels like in a family. Nothing is a problem, rooms clean, food even better (Italian cuisine), we are happy to return here

Well-kept, clean facility by the beach. The bungalows are set around the pool which is really nice, there is a deeper part and shallow for small children. There are also beachfront villas and we stayed there. Peace and quiet and smiling staff. Additionally, delicious food at Domenico who is the owner and the Chef. I highly recommend.

A very nice resort with friendly staff, the owners are Poles. However, it is not without its drawbacks. There is no beach. At high tide, it is not there at all and the waves crash against the cliff. At low tide it is also absent for obvious reasons, but there is a nice infiniti pool. A nice incident with the service, I dont know if its a rule or a coincidence, but a beer with $ 3 in the card turns into $ 5 on the bill

The hotel and its restaurant are run by an Italian owner. There is a great sense of European perception of visitor care. Accommodation clean with fully functional air conditioning. Rooms are by the pool or by the beach. The part by the beach is much quieter. Prices comparable to nearby restaurants and without unexpected surprises. Pleasant combination of Italian and local cuisine. Overall a very nice stay, I can only recommend.

The hotel itself is an oasis in a pleasant environment.Very close to the ocean. Beautiful beach, sun beds, parasol.There are several opportunities on the beach to eat, drink and buy gifts. If you like a quiet holiday but still sometimes want a small ocean shore, you will find something to do.The staff is very nice. hospitable, family-friendly hotel.Italian owner Domenico prepares very delicious and tasty food himself.The rooms were cleaned every day.I can only recommend it to everyone.Super place

Super place, kind, attentive service, restaurant on site, Italian chef who is also the owner. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Towels are also provided for the beach. Pool is clean and warm. Beautiful garden, beautiful oceanfront. I can only recommend.

This resort is very nice, family run. The owner is nice, he is Italian, so I kind of missed the more varied menu. Otherwise, everything was great 👍

I ordered a stay. I have a conversation that it will be staying on my birthday. Everything is confirmed. I was to let you know for 5 days or 4 because of where I would go on a safari. No deposit was wanted from me. After I bought a safari and in a month I have a flight to Zanzibar, the bosses tell me that there is no room for me because I did not let. Comedy
