Oh such a sweet sweet place. The outside seating is lovely. The food is wonderful too. Good Italian pizza. Will be hosting a full moon womens circle on their beach front tomorrow night and it truly is the perfect spot for it.

Best Italian restaurant in Kiwengwa! Ive been to the White Dream a few times and always looking forward of going back! Pizza is proper Italian, the fish is fresh and the rest of them menu looks great. The location cant be better, just in front of the ocean!

One of the few very good restaurants in Zanzibar. They offer great pizza from a stone stove and some other great dishes. They don’t have a large variety of beverages, but the wines are definitely ok.

Wonderful dinner! We are staying at Bluebay and got this recommended by a friend!Ordered grilled fish and grilled shrimps. Every bite was worth a treat. Affogato tasted good too!Staff is very helpful too! Nice warm decor!

We really enjoyed our Christmas celebrations at White Dream restaurant. Italian cuisine is one of my favourites and having that in Zanzibar was marvellous

What a delicious place to eat! You have to try the coconut soup and the passion fruit cheese cake! But also pizza tastes as if you ordered it in a trattoria in Rome! Amazing food! We highly recommend this restaurant!!!

The food is tasty and well presented , the layout ,and interior design is cosy yet chic ,the prices are reasonable and even cheap comparing to the quality , and above all the staff and manager alwayes smiling and at your service ,if you dont like the food ,you simply cancel and wouldnt be charged for it ,we asked for a special occassion dinner for our anniversary,they surprised us the best way possible , my wife was speechless . I highly recommend it to anyone spanding holiday in Zanzibar

Combination of Italian style and African cuisine, I have been to many places but for so many years I have only felt special here, if you want to relax and enjoy your stay this is the place for you, the owner welcomed us with his hospitality, the staff is first class. here you will feel like in paradise. you are always greeted warmly, no matter how much money you have, this is very common in Zanzibar.white dream Kiwengwa it’ s best pleace. My mistake,I rate 3 at first not because of service, it was because the place is small in term of its dimension(square),but the service was excellent,and I like the way the waitres how quick they are to go and listen to the client.

Its the best place Ive ever stayed at (and I travel a lot, both personally and professionally). The beach is the most beautiful Ive ever seen, the location is peaceful, the whole place is spotlessly clean, food is delicious and - most importantly - staff is incredible. Everyone took great care of us and we would love to go back. Rooms are even better than in the photos and stepping out directly to the beach is the best feeling ever.

Wow this place is absolutely gorgeous! It is literally on the beach, you can hear the ocean at night 🌊 It is located in a small village so its very peaceful. The managers and staff were very welcoming, they made sure I had a great stay and didnt ask any awkward questions as I was a solo traveller. The food was outstanding and the prices very affordable! I couldnt recommend this place more, its a true gem!

I didnt stay at White Dream but my wife, son and I ate here.... probably the best vegan pizza on the island, hands down! Weve eaten a lot of great pizzas, including Cape Town and Rome, so this was a great surprise! So lucky to enjoy this -- and the owner Ivana is fab! Very friendly but gives you plenty of space, so not intrusive at all! Highly recommend eating here!

A oasis of cleanness, fairness and quality of services, with fixed decent prices in the dirty desert of the tricky prices for tourists.High quality Italian cuisine with some local traditional entrées and local beer.Rooms cleaned twice a day, very well ventilated with sea water aerosol, direct access to the beach and with sea view.Best option for that price.Staff very helpful, tactful in sensitive situations and assertive when needing to put an end to bad behaviors.If you want a successful vacation in Zanzibar at a very good price, I totally recommend this place!

I did not stay at the hotel, but I had several meals at the restaurant, I can strongly recommend it. The food is well prepared and fresh. I have had a couple of the pasta dishes all cooked to perfection and the pizzas from the wood lit oven were fantastic.

Very nice place to stay for a few days on the beach-style holidays. It is in quiet area, so beach is nearly empty most of the time. Rooms are big, clean and comfy. The have also nice restaurant (part under roof, but you can also eat outside, whenever you like, even on the beach) and good choice of local and Italian menu. Not expensive. I didnt search outside for different place to dine, as was very happy with food and service quality. It is very good choice to stay and relax.

I must admit that we had the most beautiful view from our room if compared with other accomodations in Zanzibar 😍 We really enjoyed the restaurant, fabulous! 🤩 The staff was really friendly, the same manager Ivana 🤗 The only negative was pretty bad WiFi And a road to hotel, that is in really bad condition 😬 But both is actually like standard in Zanzibar - internet isnt good enough anywhere on the island, and roads... Our car was crying sometimes 🤣

One of the most unique and spectacular place to stay. I loved waking up everyday and viewing one of Mother Nature’s gem. The beautiful blue sky and white sandy beach, just makes you feel like you’re in a dream. The hospitality was amazing with such lovely, kind staff and the food was amazing. A stunning and very well managed small resort built on the amazing beach of kiwengwa. Only few rooms with a superb restaurant where anyone can taste local specialties and other delicious plates. The staff is very helpful and super friendly. Spacious Rooms well cleaned everyday. The view from the first floor room talks itself. Even if one will not stay there the restaurant has to be tasted at least once during your Zanzibar holiday. I strongly recommend it.

Super nice service! The value for money was there for sure! The food in the restaurant wasn’t really cheap but it was safe to eat and it was really good!

We didn’t stay- we had a very nice lunch. Shame it was ruined when the owner of the hotel and his mate from next door BRUTALLY KILLED A SNAKE. It wasn’t poisonous and there was no need to bludgeon it to death. After a lovely holiday in Tanzania where animals are respected and well cared for, this was a really sickening incident.

Great place for a lunch or dinner. Amazing pasta, noodles and coconut soup. Main dishes are around 10$ and you can pay even with Tanzanian Shilling or Euro.

Very great lodge, extremely cozy. Great rooms with very nice bathrooms. Nice sea view and the food from the restaurant was very good too. We felt very comfortable. In contrast to the north, the area is very quiet. Perfect for couples or groups who just like it quiet.In addition, our laundry was washed and the team is very good and always friendly to us.

Insanity. Beautifully located right by the sea. On a sea where you can actually swim (at high tide) - a rarity in the East. Simple yet very stylish and cozy rooms. Directly on the snow-white beach: you get up in the morning and are dazzled by the colors of the sea and the beach.But the best is yet to come: the people! Ivana, Alberto and their team are the best. They really take care of everything and you can tell that they put their heart and soul into it. And they can cook too - and how! The restaurant is top class!Finally, a little mystery as to why the White Dream was the most beautiful stop on our trip for us: as soon as they found out that we are mainly vegan, they conjured up a wonderful local and vegan menu for us. Really personable and highly recommended. Thank you for the wonderful time!

I was already visiting White Dreams twice as I liked it in so many ways ... the staff is extraordinary and always looking forward to meet your needs and that youre comfortable. The Rooms & Restaurant present itself as a very aesthetic interior even better now than the Fotos on the website ... food is excellent and the rooms are located directly at the ocean invite to swim in high tide or take a long beach walk to both sides of the hotel is a treat to enjoy. Thanks to the staff may stay was a an unforgetable treat 🙏This is my second visit to this hotel because I liked it so much. Everyone who works there is open and tries to support you in what you need and to find a solution. The whole area is very nicely decorated and everything is perfectly coordinated. The food is excellent and the rooms are all bright and face the sea. I will come back. Thanks to the whole staff🙏

Great little accommodation with 6 rooms and a great restaurant! We were warmly welcomed by Ivana and her team, despite their late arrival they were waiting for us. The airport transfer was organized by WD and everything went wonderfully. You arrive in paradise, with friendly and grateful people and with a wonderful view of the Indian Ocean, the ebb and flow of the tide determine what is happening here. The food in the restaurant is excellent, whether Italian or Swahili dishes, everything is very tasty and prepared with love. The staff is always friendly and courteous. It is only two steps from the room to the wonderful sand made from powdered sugar. We are still here and enjoy the paradise, one lies in the shade under the palm trees and does not want to leave here anymore. Asante sana!
