We had a lovely stay at Tembea Zanzibar, the 3 bedroom house is perfect for a peaceful, homely stay. With a small african village nearby, the sounds of chickens and cows are a regular daily occurance. You can spend calm, relaxing afternoons under the palm trees which surround the property and garden.Esther who assists with cleaning and general errands for the house is extremely warm and friendly plus welcomes you and assists in any way possible.There are helpful local shops nearby which are all in walking distance. The beach is located just a 2 minute walk away and views of the sea can be seen out of your bedroom window.This is a perfect base if you want to have a home from home in Zanzibar and to discover what the island has to offer. We will be recommending to our family and friends and will certainly be returning in the near future!

A great little find - it was like a home away from home... but with the added experience of African warmth, swaying palm trees and a nice long beach a few metres away. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. Will be returning when we can!
