If is possible i give 0 star. Horrible place in Matemwe, they cheat us with the check: for 300k shilingi, they asked us 300$, that meen double. I dont recomand!
Paradise 🌴🌞Wonderful hospitable host Alli.Attentive attitude of the staff.I was pleasantly surprised that a fish market happens in front of your bungalow every day.Fresh octopuses, squids, a variety of outlandish fish, you can buy all this from the fishermen right from the boat, give it to Alli and he will cook flawlessly .From here you can organize a magnificent excursion to the island of Mnemba on the Blue Safari and see the dolphins.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The sheets were dirty, during the night there is no water and the owner is one of the weirdest people I met.on the other hand the food and the view is incredible 🤩
Nice and friendly staff. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Everything was clean. The vibe of the hotel and restaurant is super relax. Good music all day (reggae). In front of the beach. I recommended.
Nice place for chill, paradise.. but.. cleanliness is really not good. For 45 USD you could find definitelly something better. The worst thing is the bed.. Actually I was probably working as a dinner for some insect during the night (they live in the bed).. looking now as dotted itching monkey. Water only cold and salty.. :) Staff was nice and polite, but anyway I do not recomend...
A super chill spot to just relax. This no nonsense hostel sometimes has no idea who is coming and going. But it will all get worked out. Just make sure you have something showing if you paid and for how long you booked. Food is super slow and not very good, but the beers are sometimes cold, and the wifi might even be working. Sound mediocre? Its not. This is actually one of the better places to hang out on the beach in Matemwe.
Perfect ! Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good prices and delicious restaurant ! I recommand
This place is a little slice of heaven about an hour out of Stone Town by car. Its feels boutique because it is. There are only 14 bungalows which keeps the crowds to a minimum. When we were here it was a nice couply place where everyone was clearly here to unwind and get away from any of the larger resorts on this part of the island. It is very chilled. There is good snorkelling and diving to be had I am told - we didnt do either. The beach is nice - a bit seaweedy but more than swimmable and the water is clear and nice besides that. You have three very nice pools at the resort and the food across bfast, lunch and dinner is tasty, varied with an eye for simple flavours which work well together. Great cocktails and an ok wine menu. Given what you pay at a lot of other similar places in the island - pound for pound this place is a gem.
Woke up at four am from someone screaming into a megaphone.mosque is right behind the place. no staff on duty at night, so if you have a. emergency you are on your own. no first aid kit. hardly any English spoken. I was referred here by one ocean divers and not told any of this.
Bad room, bad lunch, bad internet and very noisy near the mosquée, the muesim sing every hours by night, the dog and the car are more sympatis than the personal
Excellent place for holidays and a rest. Hospitality is on high level 👍😉🏖️🏊🌴
Great location in beautiful surroundings. Good place for a quick weekend away.
We were there only for lunch, very nice food ...
Beautiful and decent place to keep calm and enjoy your privacy with your loved ones.
The best value slice of luxury to be found on the island. Fantastic Zanzibar service.

Amazing place
One night at the topThe setting is heavenly the bungalows are clean and the beds comfortableThe staff are very careful, we have eaten the best dinner of the trip.Octopus and fish fresh from the seaMore than reasonable price
A place to rest. Right next to it is a fish market and every day at 1-2pm the whole beach is full of locals which bothers you a bit. We were on a picnic and it was impossible to swim because the water was full of sea urchins. I have never seen such a number of it anywhere. There is also a crazy man around the object who can attach and then he wants money. Fortunately, the owners are trying to chase him away. It is best to ignore this man and tell him that he has no money then he leaves. Food very good. Cottages in good condition. Ours had air conditioning for free. Apart from the hotel, there is no where to go because the area is full of local and there are no attractions.
Good location. Adequate value. Lovely staff.Nearby there is a fish market, where you can buy fresh catch from fishermen, and the chef will cook for a small amount as you ask.As a wish to the owners: it would be nice to have more varied breakfasts, to update the rooms a little (especially the bathrooms), put windows in the first line bungalows, because sometimes its very hard to sleep when the noise and strong wind ... ((But in general - everything is super! Thanks Ally :-)
Could have been so much better! Our room had termite powder falling on the bed and the toilet, shower rooms were below expectations. The view is nice and the fact of being feet in the water offsets a little.
This place is just wonderful, the food, the staff, the places and especially the welcome, and all the people who work there are of an incredible kindness, we were 4 adults and 2 children, dishes and drinks (bcp of beers) one it was barely $ 20, the music is good, not at all night club. The owners are very cool they welcome you at home ... the chef cooks divinely good food !!!! We saw an indescribable sunset !!! The boss organized us snokley with a lunch back, quality and much cheaper than other bosses offers hotels in general .. the waiters are responsive, not at all pole pole (quiet) ... I strongly recommend this hotel, restaurant for those who wish to be with Swahili autantiques, bonnards super cool !!!! Thank you to all our friends of keys bangalows
This plant has had its good times for a long time. Must have been really nice once, but now everything is pretty rocky and unkempt. Service is a stranger here. Ally Key is a personable guy, but also a crook. Although a clear price was agreed by Air’b’N’b, we had to pay an extra $ 10 for the second person.Breakfast is a bad joke. Brackish coffee, 2 slices of toast, egg and jam. Everything very carelessly arranged and served. Unfortunately, a woman is apparently missing here to pull the mutton legs out of the mens baggage. The room and especially the bathroom smelled foul. The mattresses were clammy. The door lock only worked for a day and then had to be replaced in a 4 hour campaign. There is a lack of everything here. Tools, expertise and service - not available.Sorry, but next door with Mohammeds you are better off.Key bungalows never again!
An intimate place with atmosphere, closer to the local community almost at the fish market, helpful host. For those who hate hotel molochs
