It was just an amazing experience in this hotel location is just breathe taking nice view good rooms. What wowed me was the kindness & generosity of the people working I was there for 10 days for my wedding being away from family the staff took care of everything which was requested from them a special thanks to the Manager Mr. Munisi, MJ & Witness from the restraunt & Happy from housekeeping. If in Zanzibar I will definitely stay here.

The best resort I have ever experienced by far. I am truly blown away by the service provided by Mr.Munisi (manager), Staff - MJ, Witness & house keeping team Happy. They were ever so accommodating for our every need. We were on our honeymoon and we also happened to have our wedding ceremony in this truly amazing resort. They helped us all throughout, their smiles and warmth is one thing il always carry in my heart. The resort had Beautiful rooms with elegant antique furniture, and exceptional beach view, but the staff, Mr. MUNISI and team were class apart.

Its a 4 star hotel, and the staff was very great, but its in the middle of nowhere, Google doesnt find it, and even though I was in a lot of hotels on Sansibar, this was the hardest to find. Once you solved it, you are in a typical 4* hotel - and youll miss this beautiful island. Thats a pity. On the beach left of the hotel is a very good restaurant directly on the sea, and they have great octopus salad and seafood, and prices are half of that in the hotel. The room itself was huge, with the best bed I had on sansibar. Its very close to Mnemba island, theres a great coral reef to dive.

Amazing hotel. The staff couldn’t be nicer! The room is huge and filled with the owner’s professional photography. We had a wonderful time here... much better than Nungwi. It’s more laid back and less people hustling you.That said, if you plan to drive by yourself note that there aren’t really any roads... just paths through sand, dirt, and rocks. Driving isn’t that scary once you realize most of the island is like this... but just a warning since we weren’t expecting such bad roads.

A fantastic hotel in a lovely spot, would definitely recommend. The best thing about our stay was the care and attention from the staff, under the guidance of one of the managers, Munisi. They went above and beyond to make our stay special and the attention to detail is unrivalled. From things like clearing away the seaweed from the beach every morning, to offering us discount on a cookery course because its very good and we wouldnt want you to miss out, or even just bringing me my favourite beer and some cashew nuts while I watch the football. Top class, all the way 👌

Hotel is good and nice beach. but dead zone area. no other restaurant except hotel. they made more money on meal then room. and activity is limited to scuba or snorkel. only good for honeymonners and not more 3 nights

A new exclusive place. Its a hidden gem. Clean Beach, friendly staff and oh my rooms full of vintage decor. 8/10

Best place to stay in Zanzibar

Its very nice place, the people here are very welcoming all the time they smiling. The staff is very kind and helpful. Good place to rest and enjoy.

We only ate here, the food is very good and the staff is friendly. The hotel is very beautiful and they take care of the area.

The great team is what makes the department so charming: no matter what you want - the staff can read almost every wish from your eyes. Always extremely friendly and always helpful - I would not have expected such service. The rooms are very nice - if you dont take the cheapest class.The pool is responsible for the deduction of a star: the color dissolves and can be found on the swimwear or the skin, which is more than annoying (but was immediately cleaned by the team).

A great place to relax comfortably landscaped area with a view of the ocean rooms as for the Tanzania standard very comfortable and spacious tasty breakfasts and a friendly service I recommend

Nice hotel! The common areas are very pleasant and the staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. Practical location for snorkeling on the island of Nmemba (departure by boat from the hotel possible), but nothing else around, except a (top) restaurant on the beach 30m from the hotel.However we were a little disappointed with the quality of the breakfast (to improve) compared to other hotels we have done in Tanzania.And extremely disappointed with the room, which was not at all up to the standard of the hotel. I did not penalize the hotel too much on the star rating because of this, as I am convinced the other rooms were fine. The one we got is nowhere pictured on their site or other booking site. The hotel was full and we asked for damages and interest to private travel on this matter.In conclusion, I recommend this hotel but be careful not to be located in the 2 bedrooms which are located between the villas! (See photos below)

A wonderful place on the very shore of the ocean for a relaxing holiday. Rooms are clean and spacious with beautiful themed furnishings. Breakfasts - 5 options to choose from, all delicious, with fresh and seasonal fruits, waiter service. Beautiful well-groomed area, clean pool, plenty of sun loungers. Nearby is the island of Mnemba, where the locals take them for snorkeling. We were even lucky to see dolphins)))

Small cozy hotel. Small area, good rooms, a cozy restaurant where you can sit comfortably without the wind.The cuisine in the restaurant is somewhat more expensive than from the side of Nungwi and Kendwa, but on the Matemwe coast the order of prices is slightly higher due to the smaller flow of tourists.Rooms are cleaned daily in the morning, and pest control from mosquitoes in the evening.Ask to change towels before you shower and they will change you, by default there was no replacement of towels.Breakfasts were included in the price of the tour. The first 5 days were fruits (5 types, as a rule) and granola with yogurt, fresh juice, 4 types of eggs to choose from. Coffee or tea with spices.Coffee is not coffee at all, so you can either exclude or drink what you have)Later, Granola was removed and only fruit remained. Not at all critical, the breakfast was hearty, we were not hungry.As for the cuisine, I would like to note: delicious shrimp, king fish and tuna.A special atmosphere and mood is created by the head of the hall (I dont know what else to call him) MJ. Thank him for his care and good mood.The pool is small but clean. We didn’t swim as we rented a car and went to the beaches of Nungwi.The road to the hotel is bad, very bad. But here it is unlikely that someone will change something.We had a great rest and are satisfied with everything that was around us.

We are now at Jefferson, exceeded all expectations. Perfect for rest and relaxation, the ocean is at your feet. Excellent rooms and beautiful grounds. Good breakfasts, enough for us. The room is tidied up twice a day, the first time I come across, in the evening they straighten the bed and close the curtains, very nice girls.You can walk along the shore, next to the fish market, very colorful. Sand is like flour! Thanks for the hospitality!

I would like to give 3.5 stars. Since that doesnt exist, there are only 3.Positive:Employees tried very hard. Pool and room were very nice. Breakfast also tasted very good.Massage was very relaxing. Snorkeling trip was really nice. Beach / ocean view was lovely. Take away breakfast box was possible.Negative: Unfortunately there were a lot of little things that werent quite right and that ended up being a bit annoying.-4 of 7 days construction site noise (pool plates were renewed and windows of various rooms)- Food always tasted different, breakfast or dinner was different every day - probably depending on the cook. (Here are a few examples: sometimes wrap dough, sometimes puff pastry at the Sansibar Pizza, sometimes curry with coconut milk sometimes without, sometimes spicy sometimes not, sometimes there was black tea, sometimes a large pot, sometimes you could choose it, sometimes there was the tea after 5 minutes, sometimes after 25 minutes, sometimes we were asked for a dessert, sometimes the bill came straight away) Due to the number it was very annoying.-It is a shame that some parts of the breakfast were not served in the form of a buffet-The quality / taste of the dinner had unfortunately decreased over the week. Unfortunately, vegetarian curry didnt taste good at all.-1. Room no internet, 2nd no hot water in the 3rd we didnt want to moveOther:-internet very slowly on site. But that is probably due to Zanzibar or the place- I think it will take some time until the many small teething problems are eliminated.

Cozy and stylish room with air conditioning. Many photos and photo books by owner and photographer Jafferji in the room. Beach is just behind the private beach chairs and pool. From the restaurant, the taste of the food and the speed we were not completely convinced, but it was not dramatic.Very friendly staff at the check-in and check-out, which we were granted later.

Overall the hotel is good. The staff are great. Manager Louise tries to help. But strange things. You tell them that it is very noisy, they say that they will resolve the issue. And in the morning at 6 in the morning a group of gardeners near your room scream and work. Also the hotel is on the edge of the village and there are no bicycles. Walking 40 minutes to shops
