This place is highly recommended for a lunch/dinner. They have 3 vegan options which are very tasty. (Humus, falafel, salad) The price is okay, one meal is around 15.000-18.000 shilling.

Im internally conflicted about how to rate this restaurant. In my experience it is by far the best restaurant in Kendwa so I want to give it good rating so it stands out in search, but being best restaurant in Kendwa is very low bar and objectively this restaurant has some issues. For example what they call steaks are not steaks but just fried peace of meat. But the owner told us that they use fresh locally sourced meat, so that is good. Their burgers are not great, not terrible. Their Hummus and Baba ganoush are excellent, no objections there. It is generally difficult on Zanziba to create the same standard of meals like in developed parts of the world. So dont expect much and you will not be disappointed. But as I said this is the best place to eat in Kendwa.

They call themselves a Lebanese restaurant and they dont even know what a batata harra is. They just say yes they have it and they end up giving you french fries (chips) refer pics below. Waitresses need to be well trained to give accurate info to the guests. Got issues making payments with the card. However am sure they can do much better.

Sweet place with friendly staff, seats both inside (air conditioner and fans) and outside. Food is tasty enough + able to bring your alco drinks bought in nearby shop.Also they have second place, just near the Gold hotel entrance, called Al Pacino seafood restaurant

Nice place for an evening meal. They allow you to bring your own alcohol and there are a few alcohol shops just next door to it. Not the best spaghetti bolognese I have ever had as it was a bit greasy but it did have good flavour. My boyfriend loved his chicken shawarma wrap though. They have a few tables outside on the street which is nice, only downside is it’s right below the speaker so be prepared to have loud music playing throughout your meal. Overall very satisfied and service was great.

Simple but nice interior, outside tables slightly wobbly (but fun), food was very good, chicken shawarma was one of the best I’ve ever had, spaghetti bolognese was good but a bit too greasy.Otherwise, a very good place to go to eat - decent prices and if you pick the right menu item you are sure to get your money’s worth.

I ordered the seafood pasta and it was amazing, i would really recommend! The staff were all very welcoming and the meal came with free popcorn at the start and free banana mouse for pudding! The owner came out to each table and was very nice. Delicious food (particularly seafood pasta) and well priced.

Friendly staff and a little bit of free popcorn but the food is only alright. We had kingfish and tuna and it was pretty dry with some uninspiring fries. Price was the same as at our hotel but the food wasn’t as good.
