10/10! This is the BEST restaurant in Jambiani - we ended up coming here everyday. Local grilled fish with rice and chef style salad is amazing! Also, the homemade chilli sauce is delicious - we asked to buy a bottle.

My grilfriend and I had calmari and prawns - both dishes were very tasty and portions were big. The staff and owner are super friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. Prices are very customer - friendly ;) We totally recommend visiting!

Recommend the Octopus and calamari which is cook in either grilled, fried or curry, choose which you like. It is served with chips or rice.l, and comes with mangi salads.

The food and the staff are great here, we have been in Pishi three times and everytime was everything perfect! The portion is so big, I would recommend calamari. You dont wait long time for the meal. If you are close, definitely go to Pishi.

A great place to stop and eat. I like the atmosphere it has, the new owner is a very nice guy and the food is cheap and delicious. If you are in the area you must go there and eat. Best lobster I had and lowest price you will find.

We have visited this restaurant several times and the food was fantastic every single time, no matter what you order. The owner is a very nice person and the staff is always smiling and sooo kind. I would definitely recommend to step off the beach and visit this place! The food is tastier than the food served by overpriced restaurants on the beach and even the atmosphere here is way much better! :-) You wont regret!

The food is so good, its worthless eating at other hotels, their prices are high and tasteless food. If you are staying at nearby hotel, I recommend you eat at Pishi restaurant everyday all over your stay. Very reasonable price and very good quantity.

We absolutely love Pishi! We came in December 2020 and as a vegetarian, there was a lot of delicious options - which is hard to find in Tanzania! Recommend the tempura vegetables. We enjoyed the curries so much, we also took a Swahili cooking course - learning how to make chapati, coconut curry and some local side dishes. Really enjoyable and Pishi was a brilliant teacher.

Highly recommend restaurant in Jambiani. Staff is really nice and food is delicious, a lot of fresh seafood and curry’s on the menu!Its also possible to sleep here they have a nice room with private bathroom next to the restaurant and 1 minute walk from the beach. And of course everyday nice breakfast with fresh fruits!!If you want to do any tour go here for your tours they offer the best price.

Best seafood in Zanzibar. 🤤 We eat one seafood platter, perfect for 2. Its delicious and very very tasty. The place is very clean. Truly recommend! The prices are are very good and the service also 😍 🙏

Very nice place to eat AND to stay! I had a wonderful time in Hassan’s pishi restaurant / guesthouse! The room is spacious, clean, bed is comfortable and it has its own bathroom! The room opens on the front on the restaurant and on the back on the village with almost sea view as the beach is only at 40m walking feet! The people working there are really friendly and helpful for anything! The food is really good, breakfast (included in room rate) amazing! The place is calm, in the heart of jambiani, you feel like being part of the village! I had a wonderful stay at Pishi restaurant!

So very delicious! We ate there 3 times in 4 days so tried nearly everything on the menu. Our favourite: AUBERGINE CURRY 😍😍The portions are big, the prices low, the staff is very friendly. We did not have to wait so long by the way, but we have been to Zanzibar off season.

The food is amazing, it is worth going to this restaurant. Super recommended. I ate the grilled prawns and my husband the octopus, they come with rice (or french fries) and salad. The portion is enough to be full. I did not had my cellphone with me and I couldnt take photos but the place is also super clean and cozy. Go and support local business. 😉

Do not go with high expectations. Me and my husband decided to go here after reading a few good reviews, but our experience was not as fortunate.Food is not terrible, but not wow either. Service kinda sucks, honestly.

A week ago, we stopped to eat at this restaurant in jambiani. We ordered prawns, octopus, fish of the day. The waiter was very nice, the fish of the day was good, the octopus was quite hard and the shrimp produced me a gastroenteritis, I was 3 days upset of the stomach and having a bad time. Thats why my recommendation is negative and you apologizing would be fine.

An authentic place of the local people, the dishes are exaggerated, we ordered vegetables in tempura, the best and freshest that I have eaten and I will eat in my life and fried octopus with coconut, vegetables and lime that was very good but for my taste with excess lime. Finally a coffee, very curious how they serve it, they put a plastic thermos, boiled milk and soluble coffee.As we had a lot of leftovers they gave us to take away and that food we gave to some women who were there who took it very grateful.The price was the equivalent of $ 12 but we gave him 15.

Excellent local restaurant. We had dinner as a family, everything was very tasty and at a reasonable price. Lobster, shrimp, fish. Only here there is no alcohol, I had to go to the nearest hotel pilipili 300 meters from the restaurant, but the price is 7000 shillings per bottle.

There is a fan, cozy interior, relatively cheap prices, and nice staff. We took shrimps and octopuses in coconut sauce, we were satisfied. There is an impudent cat that yells wildly until you treat him 😅

I recommend. Even though not right next to the beach its still a local restaurant. A very large portion of everything fresh and very good. Nice service. There were 7 of us, including 2 children, each one ordered something different and everyone liked it. And the best part is the lowest price. It is worth giving a local restaurant some money

Shrimp curry and octopus were good. It was good that octopus was not strong, but was slightly steamed. Its a great place for a cheap meal at a local restaurant. I waited about an hour, but most Zanzibar restaurants seem to be except Stonetown.

The owner, Pishi, is very nice to guests. We ordered octopus in coconut sauce and calamari in curry sauce. Both dishes great. We already know today that we will visit it several more times during our stay. We recommend !!!!!

A small restaurant in the village of Jambiani can be reached from the beach. Friendly staff fresh and delicious fish without many toppings.

Unbelievable waiting time. when asked if there are prawns, we heard confirmation and when we sat down, they went for it. Over an hour of waiting and the effect stinking on the plate. :-(
