This guys really know how to cook Italian food! Both pasta and pizza are amazing. We had lunch there 2 days, and both days the food met by far one expectations. I recommend taking seafood pasta. Cocktails are also good, a nice way to enjoy an evening.Also, staff is friendly, and the place has some cool views of the sea without being crowded.

Best Italian (Napoli) pizza on the island!! The restaurant and hotel are run by young Italian brothers, whom are so kind and helpful. We asked for Frutti di mari; which wasn’t on the menu and they were more than happy to make it for us! The staff were also super friendly and helpful. 100/10 👏🏽👏🏽Did I mention the awesome beach view while eating 🤩

GEO Italian restaurant & pizzeria is by the beaches of Jambiani and cant stress how good the food is. One of the best pizza Ive ever had. Even after having a food coma, the ambiance is great I almost slept! The open setting allows the breeze from the sea to flow freely. 5 out of 5. Must visit.

I dont think you can find a better Italian restaurant in Zanzibar. If you feel like changing from the typical Zanzibar dishes, this restaurant has really tasty pizzas and pastas, truly italian. The fact that it is in front of the beach makes it even better. The staff was also very kind, and everything went perfectly, so good we came back on our last lunch in Zanzibar.

I turned left where it said You have arrived excited with high expectations. Our lunch: Pizza was ok. Nothing special. Burger was unsatisfactory. Bad even. From the bread to the mince patty.Overall: The food was not up standard for any Italian restaurant I have ever visited.Staff are friendly.Sorry for the negative post but maybe it will help inject a bit of new energy into what you do.

I live in Zanzibar so I had the opportunity to have many dinner and lunch at Geo....And any time it was simply amazing.Definitely the best pizza of Zanzibar but is not only that....Any kind of food that I had in Daniele and Vincenzos place was delicious.Beautiful relaxing atmosphere, in any detail you can feel that these guys do their job with true passion....So my suggestion is, if you will be so lucky to come to Zanzibar, dont wait many days to visit to this place because you will like to come back more an more times......or simply book straight in the Geo Resort so you will have the opportunity of do not loose a lunch or dinner in the best Zanzibar restaurant....P.S. ask for the dessert, they are amazing

When you see a sign on the road to Jambiani ‘You have arrived! you should definitely turn into the sand path and drive to this charming beach restaurant, run by an Italian family who have brought their cooking skills straight from Naples to bring you the most delicioys puzzas and pastas.You can walk on the white sandy beach or lounge at the pool. Either way this authentic laid back beach locale away from the tourist spots is charming and real. The staff are super friendly nd accommodation. We spent the day there, lounging ob beach chairs and swimming in the pool after a leisurely lunch.

The Pizza at Geo Restaurant was very, very, very delicious. We can warmly reccomend this place for every Pizza lover like we are. Great Italian taste right at the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar!

Both me and my friend we looking for a european restaurant because the local food from Sansibar wasnt all too good for our stomach. So went there because its looked modern and clean. We ate a Pizza cabonara and Spaghetti and additional drank a milkshake without ice. The food tasted alright.When we returned to our guest hose both of us had to throw up intensily during the night. so something they cooked wasnt fresh anymore. They should check more often if their food is still good.

The Best pizza in South Est Coast in Zanzibar! And other meals!

We were sadly quite disappointed with our visit. Food took nearly 1.5 hours to come, and we had ordered a starter but this did not come sooner. The starter was supposed to be a vegetable fritter but was just potato. One of the pizzas was different to what we ordered. The waitress did not mention this until I pointed it out and she then told us that they didnt have toppings for the one we ordered but was in no way apologetic. It would have been nice to know this sooner as we would have ordered something else! The manner of the waitress was flippant throughout. Overall, the price was high for the area so although the pizzas were nice we would have expected a better overall experience.

Yum food! Poor rooms. Eat here but don’t stay here- they’re very very basic and unloved rooms. Pasta and pizza are 👌🏽 though.

We were little disappointed. I ordered one meal and got something else, then they said that my side dish is coming but never come. At the end we had on our bill added stuff we didnt have. Paying was also a problem, they didnt take our contact less card. Service was super slow.

Good food for a decent price. We werent expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. We had the shrimps as a starter and a delicious red curry and huge pizza. Red wine was served ice cold, but guess you otherwise get gluhwine in Zanzibar ;). Would recommed eating here!

We have stayed there in august 219.Beautiful hotel with people,suleiman and hamada were close all the time to make sure our holiday become gorgeous,thanks to them.Not mention the food , i think it was the best in whole zanzibar.At least for us at that time.fresh…straight from the oven..Peaceful place..my recomend to those who want to come zanzibar ..please go Geo zanzibar resort for your nice holiday...we will come back ..we left our hearts to Geo zanzibar resort

Its not every day that you find a little corner of Italy here in Zanzibar, I felt at home, good guys.

I liked the pizza for the first time, on January 16 they came for the second time, waiting for an order for about an hour, just like in other restaurants, they managed to get used to it! But! Creepy smelling not fresh shrimp was brought in !!!!! For an institution located on the coast, this is doubly unforgivable! The long wait and even poor cooking can be forgiven, but not fresh food - no! The waiter offered to choose another dish (at our expense, of course), but after that, I didnt want to, the rest of the bill was paid in full. No reactions from the restaurant owner ...

Yesterday in this restaurant they counted us $ 1 more beer than on the menu and then tried to tell us that the price of beer had increased within 2 days! We waited until they come to the table for 30 minutes. On the first day we went to their place for dinner, the portions were very small, and the price was quite high. Wouldnt recommend. You need to go to the village a little further along the beach to the Pishi restaurant and eat well!
