A good place to arrive or get ready to leave Tanzania, in walking distance of the airport. But they have a shuttle service too, which is recommendable, as the walk may be a bit stressful. Good food at decent prices in the restaurant.

No complaints! I stayed here my first night in Dar es Salaam before transiting on a domestic flight to another city. One night standard room is TZS 70,000 and includes a clean bed, towel and bar soap, and breakfast (eggs, bread, coffee). The taxi ride from the airport to the hotel is just a few minutes, costing roughly TZS 10,000. Would stay again!

Very clean place. Bedroom has air-con. Friendly owner and staff. Restaurant on premises. Great value for money. Close to the airport. As expected noisy although the bedroom has double glass. Still had a restful sleep.

The Motel is really good, me and my friends liked it so much. We met a girl named Janeth as a receptionist and she welcomed us very nicely. They have a good bathroom, bedroom, clean room, nice shelves, good security.

The price was a bit steep but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The staff was nice and even let us store our stuff for half a day while waiting for our flight.Each staff was friendly and our room was clean. Perfect for a quick overnight stay

Simple but comfortable hotel very close to the airport. Its clean and the staff are very nice. Breakfast normally starts at 7:00 but for us they had bread, coffee and eggs at 5:30!

Helpful staff, comfortable, and the food was safe for westerners to eat. Western style toilets. Showers had hot water, but little water pressure. Decent choice for business or necessity.

As others have said, its close to the airport and clean, although traffic can still make the trip take a while. They arranged for a taxi driver to pick us up from the airport and take us back, and he also helped us buy Tanzanian SIM cards at the airport. I would have liked a bottle of potable water in my room, or at least for them to ask if I wanted one. I didnt inquire, so maybe they would have provided one. They also crammed two beds into the room, making it difficult to navigate. It did seem a bit pricey for what we got.

Transit Motel is a great stop for your overnight needs close to the airport in Dar es Salaam. The rooms were small, but our team found the customer service to be excellent and the accommodations to be great for the price and location. This was complemented by good food and very clean rooms. I will be using Transit Motel again when traveling through the city on a budget.

Close to airport, reliable pick up and clean and basic rooms with aircon, ensuite, basic brekkie and Wi-Fi. Good overnight stay when waiting for a connection flight.

It is convenient location for the airport as the name suggests. Looks like that hotel is in middle of a township. Although it is about 1km from the airport you cant really walk to the hotel with any heavy bags because the road is terrible. There is no path to pull your case.

A very basic but affordable hotel without frills. It is conveniently close to the airport - five minutes. Meals could be speeded up. Rooms clean. Showers need a shower curtain.

Tiny rooms. Air-conditioning had no controller. Hot water not working. Noisy an dangerous area. Visit only if you are catching an early flight. Close to airport (1-2 min)

Tourist trap. Rooms are missing most amenities you would expect for the room rate. Abbusive exchange rate and airport transfer charges. Poor breakfast. And most importantly, an airport hotel that forgets to make wake up calls
