Great place. Pool is nice and clean the lifeguard is very attentive unlike other places makes sure ppl wash their feet after being in the sand before entering the pool.. only downside is towards the evening people tend to pee in the changing room which makes it a bit eeky to change

Awesome getaway, friendly and professional staff, good swimming pool, easy access to beach and budget friendly rates. The decor is breathtaking and stunning. A big place where kids can have ample space to run around. Food is good as well. They also have a mini GP carting track. I think if they add a big kids play area, would be a big bonus and attraction.

Entrance fee is TZS 10,000 per person on weekend, which makes it to use facilities such as tennis court, swimming pool, etc. There are two tennis courts which are concrete courts. It is maintained well and very spacious.

Its wonderful. The ocean breeze is really cooling you down. The meals are delicious. The rooms are wonderful and with enough space. The sports grounds are well maintained. The Gym needs to be reopened! Customer care service is at the highest lievel.

Very nice Hotel, the facilities have cultural flavours including in the rooms, the breakfast is very good, you wont regret.

It is big and nice but if it were to be maintained well (the gardens are not green and flowers are dead😥), there are algae on the swimming pool walls which could lead to skin infections

A very nice hotel at one time but rundown now.needs some major renovation and some fresh ideas .watersports,a water park, weekend offers,good reasonable priced food.rooms are okay but otherwise rundown.very nice location and plenty of space to expand.Hope it doesnt go down the drain.

There is absolutely nothing about this place apart from the beach. The view of the beach is to die for!The rooms are overly priced for no reason. The lights at our balcony last worked about five years ago. The fridge was last serviced I dont know when as it was not functional.We need to question who marked it a 5 star on booking.comThey served us only two dirty towels and the bathroom needs repair and cleaning thoroughly.The housekeeping ladies look tired and disorganised. They definitely dont know their job lolI asked one to give us only bathroom things as I started cleaning our room and bathroom myself - ofcourse I value our health first to put it in anyones hands!Anyway this lady just gave me one body lotion. No soap, shower cap and name itBreakfast is okay but needs to be improved to include meats.No value for money

This is where you come to throw away your money. Terrible food service. Buffet Roasts chicken drier than your avg corner restaurant. You pay 10k to enter a open club instead of a beach, blasting 2000+ watts of music in your face.Personally I go to beaches to listen to the ocean waves and wind and this is not it.Edit: This is most definitely not a 5 star hotel in any form. Public toilets dont even have all the lights functioning in them. With rusty taps. I spent double what I would anywhere else and I am now leaving at a lower mental state than I entered.

Everything was terrible from the food to the accommodation, my bed sheet had a hole in it and when I asked for a new one I did not receive it , the breakfast was very disappointing there was barely any food and the portions were very unsatisfactory... I would not recommend staying here unless all you care about is aesthetics of the poli poli life, it does have really good beach access and it is cleaner then other beaches.

The location and beach is excellent . The food is a big let down. The service is slow and totally chaotic. The food comes first then the cutlery and plates and then finally the drinks. By that time you would have lost your appetite and patience.

Good hotel rooms with adequate facilities. The swimming pool is good as well. The beach was good however there were too many weeds in the sea and didnt enjoy getting into the waters this side.The breakfast buffet is very good, mainly with local as well as continental breakfast options. The lunch and dinner buffets not that remarkable.

Loved the way the rooms were outlined. Chalet like. Spacious. Food was great. Staff were friendly. Then the pool and beach. The natural or nature feel to the whole setting. I enjoyed every bit of my time there.

This is an interesting hotel that is owned by the Libyan and Tanzanian governments (I stand to be corrected). The chalets are smart and all are sea facing. The grounds could do with some more attention. The food is very fresh as is most of the food in this part of the world with freshly squeezed juices and fresh fruit. The conference facilities are also great but the eats on that side could be made more diverse as they tend to become tiresome after two days.

Loved everything about Ledger! The staff were very friendly, prompt and taught me some Swahili phrases. The beach view was amazing and the decor was authentically Tanzanian. The buffet was EVERYTHING, so delicious! The only thing to be mindful of are the crowd that sweep down and attack your plates if they are left unattended.

Its a really nice place . located in kunduchi Dar es salaam, huge place, nice swimming pool, and to add up the spice. there is go Karting on sundays, also a good venue for weddings or events.. the Food is also outstanding.in general i really enjoyed my visit to this place and will recommend anyone to go and see for the mselves

This hotel is like at its last breathe before dying. Its kind a dying.. someone should buy and rescue it. Its a huge 5-Star hotel which has simply been abandoned... its a total shame.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Clean rooms facing the Indian Ocean. Breakfast buffet spread was extensive with cheese, cold cuts, assorted pastries and bread, as well as an egg and waffle station to look forward to. Their dessert options were great too. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Its a very good place for visiting and enjoying your weekends and holidays with friends and family. A large and safe swimming pool as well as beach access, its very beautiful to visit when you in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The place was over crowded with day swimmer I wish they would have advised that before booking the room good views on the rooms but the rooms have a strong mouldy smell.I ordered a pizza I could not eat as it was only seasoned.The staff was unpleasant and unwelcomingI dont appriciate my drink being open before being delivered to me. I would rather it was opened infront of me.The public toilets by the restaurant was dirty and smelt.I could say more but pointless as nothing is ever going to change

Their Plaza Hall venue is exceptional. It can be used for meetings, weddings and other events that can cover less than 300. There is a big beautiful green garden outside also its far from guests rooms. The place is huge.Lunch buffet was great with mango juice.Most of all entry points are Wheelchair accessible.

Is it allowed to say that its too fancy and beautiful, I dont know, I just feel its not for me.. Nice rooms and nice view. Dont know about the easiness of the access to the beach yet. But its certainly not your getaway type.. Too fancy for that.

Good service, child friendly if you want to visit tye pool area. Always feel welcomed here, amazing chips and wings , the beach has a bay despite the high tide.

My room was superb overlooking the ocean. However the hotel needs some renovation especially the staircase rails.

Its a very nice beach resort . Very decently maintained . Standard of service are good but still need improvement . Specially if you are sitting on beach side desk service is slow to get . I will suggest more staff on weekends specially to attend the clients on beach side huts . View is one of the the best . Sea is very neat and clean . Good place to relax enjoy also good for weekend stay . Gardens are green . Security is good . Also ala Carte menu if available 24 hours then it will be more convenient for weekend visitors as all are not having interest of eating buffet lunch specially for big families as it is expensive .

Beautiful Hotel, secure parking, basketball & tennis courts. This hotel has a pool bar and a clean beach where you can play beach volleyball or take a dive in the ocean. At the parking lot, every Sunday from 10am till dusk, you can live your need for speed fantasies at the go kart tracks in front of the conference centre.

First time there ,had a soda which is quite expensive considering its just soda nothing special. I lovvved the ambiance especially at night the breeze is breathtaking.

The scenery is amazing its in a city not too far from the airport but still isolated in a quiet, and divine place where the only noise is from the ocean crashing into the beach sand , the Staff are amazing and friendly and enthusiastic, the food is also amazing.

One of the best resorts in Dar Es Salaam, great for weekend gateways, hosting large group of visitors, and corporate functions. You get to have access to a range of indoor and outdoor games including tennis and football. They have large swimming pool with a mini bar in it and a section for kids. Lovely place! BUT: never order a cappuccino, its just ugly!

Beach side resort with villas and a event hall, its a great place for Sunday chillin and stay in with family too! Prices do vary upon weekdays and holidays.. They also serve all you can eat menu for adults and children. My experience was great there as it was a rainy day 🌧 yall know how it feels to swim on a cold cozy day!Although the food area got kinda beesy 🐝🐝 as it was raining outside & n u guys know that bees cant really fly in Rain, I didnt mind that tho! It was a decent place for a function. Tried to do a sunset function but didnt quite work out that way. The rooms were cute but the ac let us all down.

Bahari is a beautiful beach area. The rooms are all in 2 storey thatched round houses that look far more in keeping with the setting than anything else I have seen. The rooms are a good size with great facilities and really well thought out. They all have sea views with balconies that remain shaded throughout the day. AC is v good, wi-fi is good, lovely shower room with nice towels, lotions potions com toothbrush etc. Fridge in your room and rooms set ice if you want it. The grounds are gorgeous and very secure. 24 hr guards. The dining room is an amazing thatched structure. Food is great and varied. Anything Indian is pretty hot but everything is well cooked and fresh. Staff are friendly attentive and service throughout is efficient and well organised. Pool is next to the beach with a bar food service, shower and toilet facilities. Anything negative...its too far from home to come every weekend.

Right from Reservation to the checkout everything was a F*** UP. They were unable to honor the Online Portal Reservation they took reservation in own account. Next they gave us bad and sometimes spoiled food. Bathroom was clogged and housekeeping not cleaning anything. When we tried to reach to managers, in spite of being in office they refused to meet us. Is there is a worst place than this to stay?

It is a quiet place, has a good restaurant in terms of comfort, but every time you eat different food with the same name☺️ Wait(resses)/(ers) are nice. I prefer going there to have a quiet and peaceful day with free wi-fi:)
