Quite place, not crowded but nothing exciting to write about

Eco-Shelter is a very nice place to stay. We made the family tour in July organised by Ignace and Urassa and everything was great : visit of Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar, safari in Mikumi park and Massaï village... We stayed 8 nights in Eco-Shelter and we were very welcomed by the whole team. The food was great. Containers are confortable and nicely decorated with african crafts. The shelter is very close a long and lovely beach.A special thanks to Urassa, who drove us everywhere and spent time to explain us local life.We can highly recommend this place !

Stayed here last week, Gigi is a consummate host when around. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the vibe is truly chilled and the private location is a short walk from the beach. $2 in a tuktuk from the ferry.

Lovely place! Actually for the moment being, this is the best place I know in Dar es Salaam.The owner and his family is so friendly.If there is something you like he is always help you out. Good price.There is no restaurant but you are always welcome to cook your own stuff. And some weekends they host BBQs!

Interesting design and quite serene hide out with a beautiful view of the beach below. Very polite and helpful caretaker.
