Beautiful place with breathtaking view and beach right outside your window. Rooms are big, clean and fully equipped. Delicious meals served in restaurant make you dont want to ever leave (and in my opinion meals are much better than in any restaurants nearby). Coctails and coconut harvested everyday by amazing employees make you feel like in paradise 🏝Owners are warm, helpful and very professional. Thats a place where you can come for a vacation of a lifetime.Theres pool, lots of places to chill out (hammocks, hanging bed etc), clean and uncrowded beach with ocean 1m from premises (on high tides every few hours)activities and tours will be organised for you if thats what you want.Been there for 15 days and definitely will come back in near future 👍

The beauty of the place where I stayed is incomparable to what you can see in the pictures.Great calm local location, very close to Paje and Jambiani.Very nice accommodation.Delicious food and the most delicious fresh fruits! The kindness of the owners, wide and beautiful beach, charming nooks. A place to run away and start dreaming.I recommend it with all my heart!

Its a paradise! Especially for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of big hotels, towns or cities (although Bwejuu and Paje are within walking distance). Imagine your day here: you wake up to this breathtaking view (all bungalows face the ocean where and ebbs and flows are truly spectacular here), go to the restaurant where the wide-smiled friendly local chefs and waiters welcome you and offer yoy a rich breakfast (sometimes the food, especially during lunch and dinner time is served straight from the ocean onto your plate!:), then you digest it in one of the hammocks hung among coconut palms, soon you feel like cooling your body so you jump into the pool marvellig at the beauty of the ocean at the same time, later on you want to read a book on one of the most comfortable lying chairs on the beach, ... And you do not have to worry literally about anything beacuse there are them: Marlena and Przemek, the owners, who are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you at any time. They will organise for you a safari trip, snorkelling on the Blue Lagoon (and other places), a trip to spice farm, and many others. We really miss the place and them! Would defininitely like to come back here soon:).

Exceptional place, right on the beautiful beach and very tranquil. Marlina, the host was welcoming and made our stay every beautiful. She also arranged a cab for all our site seeing and made our stay in Zanzibar very memorable 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

Very nice place, amazing ocean view straight from the bungalow. Food was awesome, true Zanzibar kitchen. This is really close to the caves nearby, also its close to the shop.

First, one big minus! I have to cover almost 8,000 km by plane to get here We recommend this piece of paradise in the middle of the charming Zanzibar 🌴🇹🇿🍹 We hesitated for a long time in choosing a place for our next vacation and it was worth it. This tiny hotel consisting of several bungalows is right on the beach, basically the beach enters it, one big sandbox :), surrounded by gorgeous coconut trees. I have been to many places in the world, the third time in Zanzibar and nowhere else was it so green.A kind and cheerful service, a very nice and helpful owner in many respects, helped us with everything we needed, from currency exchange to trips, organizing transport. In the vicinity, a small shop with basic articles. The well-known larger town of Paje with numerous shops and bars is only a 20-minute walk away. We had a bungalow consisting of two rooms overlooking the ocean and pool, peace and quiet. Good cuisine, tasty food, I must praise the chef for preparing the local specialty of the Urojo soup! Revelation! Greetings to the boy who guarded the resort after dark Beach without crowds, nice local community, away from hotel beaches crowded by local sellers and Maasai. The stay was very enjoyable, we met great people. I recommend it with a clear conscience. Adam with his family.

We wholeheartedly recommend this place! Why? We could list the advantages endlessly, but we will briefly describe MAGICA palm tree garden, lots of space to relax, tasty and fresh food and friendly service. The owners are very helpful, they create an amazing atmosphere. Guests have at their disposal a swimming pool and hammocks, couches, benches, etc. We never come back to the same place, but this time we will make an exception. Justyna, Marek and Maja Podolscy.

A magical place, right next to the beach, where you can admire the sunrise and sunset, ebb and flow, and the ocean is different every day. Beautiful place. I spent a month in this place and left with tears in my eyes. Not only because of the place (ocean, palm trees, bungalows) but because of the people: the owners are open to others and are eager to talk about the island. Helpful in everything: from buying a phone card, currency exchange, organizing trips, guides, showing nightlife, restaurants ..., ... I could exchange a lot. And the service: waiters, cooks, gardener, etc., all nice and smiling. It is a place for people who value a family atmosphere, peace, quiet and good food.

If you are looking for a 5 * hotel, all inclusive and Fleming fountains in the middle of the garden, look for another address.Find Africa here !!! Poles are already a bit steeped in the local climate, hundreds of amazing stories and information about which you can hardly read in guidebooks.

A beautifully situated intimate resort with several bungalows and a restaurant. From the morning you can admire the view of the ocean lying under a palm tree on comfortable hammocks and sofas. For this there is a swimming pool on site. Apart from breakfast, the restaurant serves fresh fish and seafood every day. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. The owners are always there to help. We would definitely come back here with friends and family again and highly recommend it to everyone 😍

What a great place right on the beach! We had a great week there. Rooms very clean and large, tasty cuisine - especially seafood ❤, delicious drinks, very friendly service, rooms cleaned every day, extremely nice and helpful owners - they organize trips, arrange a taxi, generally help with everything and tell you about the island :) Bungalows located in a quiet the village of Bwejuu, you can in 20 min. walk by the beach to Paje. I sincerely recommend !!! Unforgettable views and a beautiful sunrise !! We are very pleased with the stay :)

Great, quiet, wonderfully situated place. Very friendly and helpful owners, almost a family atmosphere. The food was the best on the island !!! Lovely garden with swings, hammocks and a view of the ocean. I recommend it, I will definitely go back there.

An oasis by the sea and a very nice surprise. We booked the hotel at short notice and drove from the mainland to the island to spend a few nice days there.To the system itself:They are classic houses, so typical for Zanzibar, in which rooms of different sizes are available. Since these are traditional houses, the air conditioning is very good and the ceiling fan is completely sufficient at night. Food and breakfast are served in the communal house / bar. The complex itself is particularly attractive. An oasis by the sea with a pool under palm trees. You walk barefoot all day and the numerous benches, beds, hammocks, loungers or swings invite you to relax. In the bar you can get drinks or fresh coconuts all day.The room:The furnishing of the rooms is simple and the bare essentials are available. You will look in vain for a hairdryer or air conditioning. For us, this minimalist approach is absolutely great and nothing more is simply required. The room was absolutely clean and the bed was easy to use. This is not a matter of course for Zanzibar and therefore deserves express praise.Restaurant / Bar:The kitchen is a dream. We ate almost exclusively there. There are so many delicacies on the menu. Friends who had traveled with them and who had decided on another hotel were disappointed with their restaurant and then only ate with us. Fresh lobster, fish or local meat specialties convinced us all of the dishes. (Veggie or vegan possible without problems) The breakfast is unique in its form on the island. We have actually never seen it like this before. A meager breakfast buffet is usually the norm in Zanzibar. Our friends also told us that they only offered a small, counted selection every day and that they were rudely refused if they wanted a second portion. Not so with us at Zanzibar Gem. Every day the cook came up with something new for us. It is your own fault if you do not get full here. There was really everything your heart desires and extra requests were always fulfilled with great pleasure. So for that alone 5 stars.The location:Bwejuu is a quiet place in Zanzibar away from the hustle and bustle and loud music. Here you can go down and relax. If you still want to go on day trips, you can book them on site. Paje is not far away and can be reached on foot. We are very often in Zanzibar. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. For party people, we would rather recommend Kendwa in the north of the island, where you can let yourself be bothered on the beach all day. In Bwejuu, we were largely in peace from the local vendors.Conclusion:A wonderful place to relax and unwind. The hosts are absolutely polite and courteous. The cleanliness and the food are absolutely worth mentioning, as compared to other facilities above average.Prices for drinks and food are moderate.We would love to come back!Thank you for the nice days

A great place. Right next to the beautiful beach, among the palm trees, the swimming pool also among the palm trees, there is no fight for sunbeds and hammocks are in abundance. Peace and quiet. Idyllic atmosphere makes you do not want to come back. If someone is looking for great luxuries and lack of sand underfoot, this is not the place for him. We were supposed to move north after 5 days but found it too good and we stayed. The kitchen is high. Greetings to the entire crew who was very nice.
