Simply amazing!This is a really lovely place with incredibly welcoming, caring and supportive hosts. They even organized a boat trip for us and washed our laundry for free. When we asked for a desert and the kitchen was already closed, they gave us some cookies of their own😍I couldnt possibly recommend this place more wholeheartedly!

Amazing place to stay in Zanzibar. Beautiful beach right where the hotel is, super close to Paje if you want to do kitesurfing, and the hosts are the most welcoming and kind people! You feel at home here. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very comfy and nice. The hosts show you the best parts of the area and give great recommendations too. A must stay if you are in the area!!!

This stay was one of the most memorable travel experiences we ever had. Pia and Hashim were the most welcoming, warming and enthusiastic hosts we ever came across. Both of them went above and beyond in their effort to make us feel at home and fulfill all of our wishes. Whether this was organizing taxis, scooters, boat tours, etc. They even made a huge effort to offer us gluten-free and vegan options for the amazing breakfast (one of the best one we had so far on this trip). Located directly on the beach with wonderful friendly staff, big and clean rooms (with a fan, huge bathroom, warm water, towels, a safe, mosquito net and a comfy bed) & lots of opportunities to meet other travellers. What made the stay even more special were the welcome pancakes and mango juice, as well as daily surprises every single afternoon :) It really felt like staying with friends rather than a basic hotel stay. Free of charge group activities like a turkish evening with Feta and Raki, a boat tour or walks to the reef got us in touch with the other guests and made the stay even more wholesome and feeling like a family vacation.All in all it was the perfect start for our trip to Zanzibar and we already cant wait to come back to the true African Paradise this place was for us :) We strongly recommend other travellers to check out this gorgeous little Hotel and to experience the exceptional hospitality of Hashim and Pia as well as their wonderfull staff - Thanks for everything guys, it was wonderfull!!

Pia and her husband are very nice, warm and hospitable couple. They really take care of the guests. They can manage everything for you, what do you need or what do you want. The stuf at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Very tasty and fresh breakfast and in general the food at restaurant is very good. Very pleasant stay. Only best words!!! Thank you so much!

I stayed at the African Paradise during my trip to Tanzania, and it was just perfect! Pia and Hashim are the perfect hosts and truly make you feel like home. Location is perfect right on the beach, rooms are super comfortable with a nice bathroom, and breakfast/restaurant are excellent. Lots of game boards, and we were even able to enjoy a boat tour. Small lovely hotel with the best hosts of at least entire Sansibar! Owners and staff are sooo friendly and anticipate your every wish! Rooms are very clean and cozy. Warm water and internet is - of course - available. Food and drinks were very delicious at Leo’s Bar as well as the fantastic breakfast. The beach is just in front of the hotel. The owner shows you how to cross the low tide to walk close to the reef. We also did a snorkeling tour with a local boat and all hotel guests. You can use bikes, sea kayaks and snorkeling gear for free. Taxis and tours can be organized the hotel.Thanks Pia and Hassim for all your efforts and the wonderful vacation!

Absolutely fantastic! The food, view, and hospitality were excellent! We made a trip down from Kiwengwa just to eat here and it was well worth it! Highly recommend!

Spent 11 days here, and I could have easily spent more time. The best compliment I can give this place is that it felt like home.The African Paradise is just great, just in front of the beach. We had the pleasure of waking up with the view on the sea, and we spent time just looking at it from the terrasse :) Perfect for resting and relaxing.Bwejuu itself is not busy compared to other beaches in Zanzibar, so people who are looking for calm and peace will find it here (note: it is still close enough to other villages/places if you want to try other restaurants).Thanks again to Pinar, Hakim and the staff for taking great care of us. The place was clean, the service was great, people were always smiling. Will definitely come back here if I ever have the chance to come back to Zanzibar.

Amazing place to stay and visit Bar. Very welcoming hosts and staff. They provide the best breakfast in my life, no jokes. Peaceful location, close to Paje, you can drive bicycles for free. Good variety of food in the bar. It’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s definitely the coziest place to stay. Highly recommend!

The African Paradise is a place you will fall in love with from the first moment. Starting with the welcome drink and a warm welcome from our hosts Pia and Hasin, until the sad moment where we had to say goodbye to this beautiful place and people.Great location, perfect for a chill retreat but still in a strategic position, located between north and south of the east coast.We had a sea view with balcony and you wake up every day with the sound of the waves (so magical, do not miss the sunrise too). Great and rich breakfast with plenty of choice, including super fresh fruits😋 We had dinner as well, and the fish cooked by the local chef was SPECTACULAR. Trust me, you will not make a mistake if you decide to stay here. You will really feel at home when you step in and meet Pia and Hasin.They are so genuine and wonderful hosts, nothing is hard for them when it comes to assisting you. We are looking forward to coming back again soon. Thank you for the amazing stay ❤️

We been here like at home during 7 days. Very friendly and positive personal. The room very big and bright with air-conditioner (fan). The breakfast included was so good: fresh fruits, juice, eggs, coffee, bread. Very nice area around hotel with coconut trees and sunny beds. You don’t need go somewhere for take a dinner coze restaurant on the hotel is perfect - very good food and cheap. We will back 100%

Great hotel, great hosts who are always willing to help with anything and know what you should and shouldnt do :) We even got a ride into town the first day to show us some shops. We had the room with big balcony and seaview. Might come back some day... :)

Pía and Hasin started running this beautiful hotel two months ago. They are one of most hospitable and kind person we meet during our one-year travel. We have a wonderful three nights stay with them.The hotel located at a quiet place at Bwejuu. This is a lovely town way more real than Paje with friendly locals. You will enjoy walking along the beach or have a short walk in the village to meet kids.The food in their restaurant- Leo Bar is very good, too. We had Octopus w/ fresh coconut which is one of local cuisine. It is very special and delicious. Definitely to try it if you have time here!On last day, Hasin drove us to Paje to catch a dalla-dalla (local bus) to Stone town. Thank you for all the consideration!

The African Paradise is a place rarely found these days. The operators of the hotel are by far the nicest hosts we have ever had. They are always available and, together with the local staff, do everything to make their guests happy. The food in the restaurant was good, we especially enjoyed the local dishes. We enjoyed the sunrises and the peace and quiet.

Enjoy an evening with my partner. Small and cozy hotel on the beach. The hotel service is ideal, always attentive and with many details in our short stay. The owners always ready to make your stay more pleasant. Clean comfortable room and good food and bar service. Breakfast, after watching the sunrise over the sea, leaves no one indifferent. Ideal to rest on its paradisiacal beach.

You feel at home, and you have one of the best hosts Znz (they will provide all the efforts of the cab island excursions, bike ...), at very good prices.In addition, having the Bwejuu beach paradise, with its tides and coconuts, also can delight with the finest cuisine and Zanzibari cockteleria of the island. The best pina colada Ive ever had and the best dishes. They have it all ... nice, respectful and loving solvents.

Pia, Hasim andeveryone from the team make the African Paradise onewonderful feel-good place. The free kayaks andI liked to use bikes. Looking towards Pajeand Kae Beach I have not found anything comparable.I changed my planned route again andmove back to Africa for a week on January 2nd, 22ndParadise. Absolute 200% recommendation. One got meeven an improvised beach volleyball court was built. :-)

A very nice hotel, directly on the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is very clean and is also cleaned regularly by the staff. Everything you need can be found in the immediate vicinity. The accommodation is monitored around the clock and you have a very safe feeling here. The restaurant has many different dishes from both European and local cuisine and prepares delicious fresh dishes. The owners Pinar and Hasim are there for the guests around the clock and help with all matters. At this point I would like to emphasize your kindness and caring, which ensured a family atmosphere all around. When the tide is out you can walk right in front of the hotel and see great corals and fish. We would recommend this hotel anytime. We had a great time and a good stay.

An incredibly cozy place with very hospitable hosts. The hotel is on the first line with stunning ocean views. Every day the territory of the coast is cleaned, the yard is cleaned.Modern design, friendly staff. At the hotel you can order any kind of excursion or taxi.Breakfasts from 8: 00-10: 00, fresh fruits, fresh juices, tea / coffee, different types of omelet for every taste. Pleasant music always plays, relaxing in the morning, becoming more fun in the evening.The restaurant has large portions of delicious and varied food: traditional dishes (mostly vegetarian), seafood (shrimp, squid, lobster, octopus), burgers, several types of pasta - all at affordable prices.In the evenings, the territory is under the protection of a real mass, with whom you can communicate. Everything looks very colorful.There is wi-fi, laundry. Service at a high level. We extended our stay here because we didn’t expect it to be like that.

We spent 4 days here and were warmly welcomed from the start. Pinar and her husband only opened the hotel 3 months ago and I think they made something great out of it. :) The hotel is right on the beach. Our room was well decorated and everything was picobello clean. The food was also very good. Have their own cook. In between there was also a snack or a fresh juice free of charge which you could then enjoy on the beautiful terrace. 😊🌴 All the employees were nimble and did their job very well. 👍🏻 I have to particularly emphasize the hospitality of the two, it helps you with all questions and the two are always on hand. We thank you again for the great stay and hope you continue to have success with your beautiful accommodation. Keep up the good work. 😊👌🏻

We spent 1 month in Zanzibar, during which time we stayed in a total of 12 locations on each side of the island. We had by far the most welcome reception here. If we ever return to the island, we will definitely stay here. :)
