Was having late lunch on Sunday waiting for our flight. The decorations is cute, it’s a small open area.We ordered octopus masala with rice, chugu with chips and a small mozzarella cheese pizza.Hot and fresh food, masala taste really well. The fried chips is from raw potatoes house receipt and the portion was generous. We liked the relaxing mood and had enjoyed a cafe latte too.Staffs are friendly. It’s a nice place for passengers spending time wait for flight instead of wait inside the check in area.

The menu displays very expensively compared to many food items in Zanzibar.The customer menu with basic breakfast omelette is 7,000 Tanzanian Shillings and on the staff, the menu is a bowl of chicken soup is 10,000 Tanzanian Shillings.The Quality of food is not worth the money.The waitress are very welcoming.In short, very expensive for both tourists and staff. The food is really bad! Don’t waste your time ordering any food from here. Just grab a water or soda as you wait for your flight (don’t try the cocktails they are also bad).

I had breakfast with my friend today . She order scrambled eggs with toast n I order Spanish omelette with toast n coffee latte .was simple n nice breakfast. Service was good ! But I love their pizza n milkshakes .

Jahazi Cafe located at Abeid Aman Karume terminal 2, with a best food and drinks, enjoy the area with nice air surrounding and best music playing.

The staff are nice and polite, and the prices are not too high. Unfortunately - this is one of the few positives of this airport.
