Delicious food and drinks. Great staff and great music.

It has a spectacular view of port and park. It is over the water , difficult to miss. Definetly you will see it. I ordered Margarita pizza, it tooks very long and its taste is not very good but it is edible. Maybe if you go there you should try other foods...

This place is a gem. The price is on par with the other restaurants in the city, but the difference is that here you get a great view and ambiance. I enjoyed it so much the first time that I came back the next day. I dont remember the exact name of the food that I ordered but it was shrimp and carrots in a curry sauce with white rice. It tasted great and filled me up. My one gripe here is that I ordered a cold coke, and it certainly wasnt cold. It might have been several degrees cooler than the ambient air, but not what someone would typically expect when they think of the world cold. I definitely recommend this place. Location wise its ok. You can see nice ocean view and feel safe to wait for your ferry. The price is a bit expensive compare to the quality of the food. Also rest room should be improved.

If you are looking for some seafood or even some Western food, this is the right place, you can enjoy the ocean up close, and the view is not too bad, on one side there is the Zanzibar city port and on the other is Stone town beach. The food that my friend and I had on the first day ( seafood platter for 2 ) was impossible to eat as it was just so big, fortunately there were so many cats around us that our plates at the end finished empty. The food was delicious too. Service was ok, but just as anywhere in Tanzania ( and we have been all over ) it was very pole pole .

Perfect view of the sea, i mean you a even see the fish 🐟 in the clear waters.. That is the only vibe about the floating restaurant. Other than that the services are slow, food is normal. Nothing more exciting about this place

Good view. Great place to take a beer or cocktails. Very windy and refreshing. Prices are high comparing to local market. The food is so-so. But still is great place to have a rest and chill during the hot day

Great location and service. The staff is very professional, the ocean view is wow. Not so great value for the money, everything on the menu is pretty expensive. Our mojitos had a lot of sugar and the food portions are very small.

Poor food at ridiculous prices.The tacos were dry, the fish is of poor quality, the tuna ceviche has no taste and the tuna is of poor quality, the Greek salad is a joke.To be avoided.

Dont mind other reviews. If you want pizza go to Italy. Service is quick and good. View is amazing, atmosphere, music is great. Get seafood, local food. You wont be disappointed.

I was very pleased with the service. We had 13 in our party and sometimes its too much for a place to handle, but they did well. The food was good. I had the fish curry and it was tasty. I agree the portions werent very large but I wasnt looking to leave stuffed either. Waiter didnt show up much but I didnt fee like we were avoided either.

Service is not slow, but actually not caring at all. We had to go and ask for menus, they were just chilling. They couldnt explain what any of the dishes we asked for contained. Finally, we had a kind of tomato toast but it was highly disappointing. The view is nice, thats it.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience on this facility , just by the entrance there was two ladys chating , on my understanding their duty is to welcome the guests and provide general information about the location what did happen because while we were having a look on the menu they were talking about us negatively in Swahili thinking that I dont understand it.Even though we decided to enter , the waiter just brought the menu and he did not give the required attention and the table that we were addressed to was dirty.The waiter was just walking around on different tables were the people from Europe and Asia were sitting, giving more attention to other people and he simply forgot about us , we spent around 20 min just waiting for the waiter to collect our request, where we decided to just move from this facility because were badly treated and we were the only black couple at that location at that particular time. No one from this facility attended to understand why we decided to leave the location without having the meal or beverage. I would expect that this kind of things still happen around this area.

Nice but have expected more for the price. The food is ok but not the best one, as we were announced.

Went there to have a cup of coffee and one Pizza. The coffees were instant coffee and for that way to expensive. Also it came out lukewarm/cold. They offered several milkshakes in the card but only had the banana ones. Very small portions. The taste of the pizza was ok but the crust was cut off. Further the service was slow. I wouldnt recommend it.

The floating bar restaurant was a great discovery in Stone Town. We spent the afternoon chilling. You can even swim if you want. The staff is friendly and the service is bit slow, but you know, Hakuna Matata :)

The view is very nice but apart from that, the meals were not so good. We had octopus curry that was too chewy and in big uncutable pieces and the tuna fish (catch of the day) was barely prepared, only grilled too much, both for something around 16000tzs. There are other restaurants for the same price with much better meal quality in Stone Town. The drinks were good and at a reasonable price so I guess its worth it for a drink with a view on the ocean.

Food is okay (not special, but completely okay), price is okay, staff is kind, however they left us with a bad taste. They brought the bill in TZS, and we’ve asked the price in USD (we already know, it’s 21)They’ve said 24 after looking at us. Okay, let’s leave it, 24. (We did not make a problem about it.)We had only 30 in notes, so went inside with the receipt and the money to the staff to get the change. There, suddenly the price “became” 29.They’ve tried it if we notice, and after seeing we are not complete idiots, they’ve let us go with 24. (Still, the original price was 21.)

We had only drinks in the floating restaurant - they were immaculate. The place is directly at the waterfront (as the name suggests) and you can see over the wide sea with all the vessels. The place itself needs a little makeover.

I have visited the restaurant one time now. The view is very nice like you could imagine. The price is a little bit more expensive than the rest of Stonetown. For 18.000 TZS we got a very small portion of spaghetti with sea food.If you want to get full go somewhere else, if you want to have a nice view you could go here.

It was absolute garbage, if I could rate 0 stars i would.We got there at three, we told them we had a boat tour at four. At 3:45 I asked rather angrily where our food was, the manager was uninterested and rude.At 3:50 i threatend to leave with my family without paying, a few minutes later they brought our starter, a salad, the lettuce was quite clearly dirty and the whole dish looked unappealing, i told him it was dirty, he rather rudely claimed it was pepper. We left without paying AND missed the boat tour.Absolute joke, do not recommend unless you want to your intelligence insulted.

The location of this place is very nice. You are sitting right next to the sea. But the food you get there is very expensive and just very few. After leaving we spent much more money than usual but were still hungry. The food was ok but not worth the money.

We chose the place because of the location by the sea. The food was very disappointing; raw chicken kebabs and an undelicate lobster with stomach content coloring the meat. We have got much better lobster other places in Zanzibar. The waiter never came back to us after we told him, hopeless service!

Its a nice breezy place. Not a lot of food selection, but I had the peppered steak and it was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly too !

A good place for lunch as its by the sea front away from the hussle and bustle of old town, where you can relax and enjoy the sea breeze. The food and service were fine would happily eat here again.

Very nice place to drink a beer or juice and watch the sunset on the ocean. However it is very uncomfortable outside after the sunset when the lamps lure a lot of flying insects directly in your vicinity.

You can pay by card !!! This is a huge plus.Great ocean views, polite waiters.Delicious grilled fish. Various interesting lemonades. They bring a glass with ice and a slice of lime, and lemonade is poured into it all. The beauty!

Views at sunset are beautiful, food can not be ordered and limited to drinks. Impressions are the most positive. Not all waiters know English, but do well. The prices are moderate.
