No WiFi, beds were uncomfortable, lots of noise,A/C in the room didn’t work, the only reason why I’m giving this two stars instead of one is because i negotiated for only $10/night and they accepted. Don’t accept paying anything more. Pay I person, not online, or you may very well get gypped.

For backpackers with benefits as hot water, ac cool balcony where you can hear the beautiful market noises in a calm way. Really comftarble beds with curtain light and electricity plugs. The staff is very kind, and its really close to the local market where you can buy street food and have the local experience. The maneger is really fair and kind as well.

Good place,near the road and market..Good Customer Service. But what they indicated on the Booking.com as amenities (Restaurant and wifi) were not available at all. Washrooms are upstairs. The floor I was,I was told the washroom is upstairs ,lucky me,there was a master bedroom not in use with an external washroom which I could use.They say the amenities work during high season which I feel shouldnt be the case..As long as a client has paid has a right to them.I booked through booking.com and it clearly said a travel offer and was supposed to pay $22 to the property for my 6 nights.. Reaching the property,they claimed I needed to pay extra fees $48 as city tax per for the 6 nights,this was out of my plans and ruined all my budget because I wasnt expecting such unforseen circumstances specially in a booked Accommodation. The hotel asked me to Cancel at booking.com to pay them in cash instead tsh120,000 from the 51,000 price I was to pay them as indicated by booking.com, as a person who booked directly..

It is in the heart of stone town! Make use of it with your budget pockets.

The best and budget hostel i could find in stone town.staff is really good and friendly but wifi was really slow but overall I’d definitely recommend this place for backpackers

Perfect place, neat good beds with curtains, air conditioned, good bathrooms with showers, good place to wash ur cloths then leave to dry, awsome man called salem has alot of information as well, the cheapest price I found in zanzibar stone old town. Thanks for everything!

Modest and well located. Old town center. The view from the 2nd floor terrace is good. The rooms are clean with a fan. The showers are clean. The staff are respectful of the guests.

The best place in Stone Town gives you great value for money, the rooms are quiet, air-conditioned and the beds are comfy, the bathrooms need some improvement but they do well.Host is very kind and likes to help.The location is very good overlooking the local market to buy fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and spices, and it is also close to the bus stop.I would recommend this place to stay without any hesitation.
