ATTENTION!!I made a reservation for the hostel through hostelword and I got an email from them saying that the hostel is closed.Which requests the reimbursement of the reservation, I called the hostel 3 times and sent them repeated emails. The person in charge of the hostel does not speak a good level of English, which is why he cut off the phone the last 2 times I called to request a refund.They never canceled the reservation looking to charge the 4 nights of accommodation that had reserved, a robbery.

The best hostel in zanzibar with amazing location just 10minutes walk from ferry terminal. Warm welcoming staff especially front office, well organized in terms of cleanliness.Banks are so close for cash transactions as well as local restaurants where local food is so delicious. It takes 5minutes to reach the nearest bar to relax.

Great place to stay for a night or two. Breakfast is good but very little to choose from. Bunk beds are reworked to look like pods. Rooms hold up to 10 people. The place is clean and welcoming. Staff is nice.

I loved this hostel for its convenience, cleanliness, and support! The staff was very helpful in connecting me with tours, advice for meals, and an awesome taxi driver who helped me multiple times during my stay. This is one of the best hostels I have visited!

The hotel is too expensive for what it is. Cleaning is not included in the total price... although the shared zones are properly cleaned. We had individual double-bed room and it didnt fulfill our expectations (especially for the fantastic pictures shared in Booking). The room had no ventilation, nor light, as the little window above the bed showed nothing but an interior patio. The room was very noisy and too small. No wardrobe and just a light bulb (we couldnt even see ourselves), so the mirror had no function at all. They dont accept credit card and they charge you a 9$ local tax when you leave the place (it is said in small words in Booking...). Location is good. Breakfast costs 4$... you can have breakfast for a lower price in places around (like Stone Town Café, which we highly recommend). Just for you to take into account!!!

They messed up my reservation and were terribly disorganized. Booked three nights through them, then was told to look elsewhere on the last night despite having a guaranteed booking. Not really apologetic. Apart from the rooms, the entire hostel is hot and humid. Bathrooms could use some work.

Super Awesome!!!! Clean, Well kept bathrooms. Location is brilliant close to the beach and other places like Forodhani gardens and other restaurants... Really enjoyed my stay here...The Wi-Fi connection was great... 😃😃Efficiency of the staff, Enthusiasm and energy gets 2 thumbs up from me 😍😍😍😊👍👍👍I would definitely go back to Ten to Ten Hostel and recommend it to anyone and everyone...

Nice one I stayed there with my husband it was really really nice hostel receptionist Mudi is very helpful and charming the staff are very friendly also there staff help about Safari like prisons island also there free break fast We enjoyed also we could get big suprise from the guests

The staff was nice and the shared areas where clean except for the bathrooms, which could get quite dirty since the showers had no curtains and the water flows through all the bathroom.No lockers in the room but there were some in the reception area.The have a washing machine you can use for $3 a batch.They also offer tours and rental of motorcycles in the hostel and they have a ping-pong table.

Great hotel, new and clean, good location, several double rooms and dorms, immaculate bathrooms, good wifi, fridge space, darts, table tennis, lockers, shared lounge and seating around the building. Staff are low key and sometimes it seems like they dont care enough but I worked out its that they are laid back and if not at the front desk they are probably off helping someone. A relief from the hassle onthe outside streets. They saved the day when we left a mobile phone in a taxi from a different part of the island and via a series of phone calls to friends of friends and people across the island the phone was returned to us the same day - unbelievable!

Ten to Ten is a great hostel in beautiful stone town. The location is ideal to explore the city on your own. Many sights and shops, the night market and the ferry are close by. The dorms are clean and the beds very comfy. The curtains give enough privacy and the lockers downstairs enough security. Theres a ping pong table and lots of games, wifi worked very well and we couldnt be happier.But keep in mind that there is a 9 $ Dollar Tax per person per night.

Very nice and clean hostel. Awesome atmosphere and their breakfast is the best one I had in Zanzibar.Their solution of chill out areas is very smart and good everybody staying there.The rooms are very suitable and the bathrooms and showers are the best I experienced.Lots of outlets in the rooms and useable for all common plug ins. So no adapter needed.The stuff is friendly and helpful. Also when they say a time to wait for something it will be there at the time. So they use real clocks, not the Hakuna Matata Style other people use here.Wifi is average, but nothing to complain about.

Neat and full air conditioned rooms. Saleh was very wonderful.Assisted with everything. Same as the rest of the staff, always ready to help. Breakfast was great. Nicely located.

Very decent hostel, polite, clean. Only monotonous breakfast; fried eggs, sausage, instant coffee. Watermelon and banana.BUT BE ATTENTIVE !!! I drove here for a couple of days, wait for my suitcase to be returned to the airport. The whole airplane got the suitcases mixed up and sent to another country. I spent the night on lunch the first night and took a little cash and went to the nearest cafe. Having returned a half and a half hours and when I found out that I would have to wait for the bag for 3-4 days, I decided to extend the room. When I reached my purse with the currency, I found that it was empty. Thanks at least for leaving the documents and cretits.

The Tanzanian staff are very kind. Rooms and toilets are generally clean. Just because there are many Japanese intern staff, its noisy. I stayed in the off season, but there were more intern students than the number of customers. The large dorms were occupied by their children, and the guests had to stay in a quadruple room. I was sorry I thought it was a good guesthouse when I came half a year ago.

I booked for 2 nights and extended it to 5 nights because it was so good. Value for money was very good. It was airy and neat at an affordable price. The location is right behind Freddie Mercurys home and is very close to the departure from the Prison Island tour. Gong-Dong Wang Yingfanging is very slow

Perfect location, we stayed in double rooms that were clean. Only the fan, so the room air was not good. The sanitary facilities were clean. The service was varied, one of the staff knew excellent English and was very professional. We went to the hotel for a spice and city tour, where we had the promised lunch and the entrance fee for several meadows, but in the round we were served only with fruit and did not reach the Catholic Church or another museum at no extra charge. We were disappointed with this, but fortunately we got a refund for the taxi rides we ordered. Compared to their price Good destination in a good location if common toilets do not hurt.
