My place

I booked my vacation through Schauinsland-reisen. On site, Flash Tours is the cooperation partner of Schauinsland-reisen.The tour guide Ali was a very nice guy and could always be reached via Whats App. I also booked three different tours with him (per tour and person $80 = $720 total). The tours were all very nice but we werent insured on any tour or anything like that as we never signed anything or received a booking confirmation. That was very strange. Now we come to the payment of the tours. Here we asked the tour guide if we could pay with a credit card and he said it wasnt a problem. We could only pay for the tours on our departure day because the card machine was always not available (according to the tour guide).On the day of departure, the tour guide came around 6 p.m. with a card device that didnt work (no connection then no more battery). I offered the tour guide that he could also bill me for the tours and I would transfer them from Germany. But his boss (Flash Tours) didnt want this. Then began a back and forth driving. Also in the Flash Tours office the card machine didnt work. I was very upset as we should have been at the airport by then. Flash tours suggestion was that I could withdraw money from the ATM and then pay in cash. I said no, since the fees are far too high and you can only withdraw 1 million shillings from the machine. So the driver drove us to the airport and during this time the boss from Flach Tours called the tour guide again and said that we should come back again because he now has a connection. This wasnt an option for us. We said that if he wants the money today, please come to the airport, which he did. After our check-in he was standing in the airport hall with a card reader. This then took another 15 minutes until the transaction was completed. I was pissed off about this back and forth because an invoice would have done the trick. This process was quite pushy and unprofessional.I dont know if Schauinsland-reisen knows whats going on under the name Schauinsland-reisen. I assumed that I would be looked after professionally on site.In the end, all of this cast a big shadow over the holiday.My conclusion: Very nice island - stay away from Flash Tours - Schauinsland-reisen should reconsider the cooperation

Immediately, I will definitely note the professionalism of the transfer driver, who was able to crash into a car standing on the side of the oncoming lane.Prior to that, the guide Alena forgot to notify about the transfer, she did not answer messages and calls for a long time. When they finally got through to her late in the evening, she lied that she had written a message, it just did not reach us. And it was about the same with the only excursion that we bought only there she lied that she did not receive messages from us.
