My goto place in Stonetown after the beach. The staff is super friendly, the food is good, the prices are very OK considering the location and well, the fantastic view of the Indian Ocean at sunset.

Super chill. By the sea. Lovely tuna. Tuna steak is on point. Not too expensive either. Come here for sunset. Cheap beers too.

Had dinner here, and every table around me was smoking. Were still in a global pandemic, and this seems like a very unsafe atmosphere. When I asked to moved somewhere that I could escape the clouds of smoke the waitresses made fun of me right in front of my face. Terrible service and lack of health safety standards. The food was also not that good. The wine was ok.

The travellers cafe was good , a gem well hidden facing the Beautiful Zanzibar Island Beach . Its not an easy place to spot since its tacked in between buildings and to find that tiny path that leads there calls for you to be keen not to miss the entrance or alternatively have someone familiar with you .The food was good would have preferred to have something authentically local on their menu , but not the usual first food setup . Drinks were ok .Its a place I would give a second chance granted the location because I can stare out to the beach and the beautiful waters . If you more concerned about respectable dress code then definitely this isnt your place .The service in general lacked that African welcoming touch ...one could tell its there but not feel it .Will definitely visit one more time .

Such a good experience! Good prices, fantastic tuna, a very nice chapati, a nice cafe cat and a stunning sunset. This is a wonderful place to either have after-dinner drinks with a sunset or a dinner with a sunset. There is also wifi. Highly recommended!

Ordered a Lasagne , very tasty and quite a generous portion, ( We came back again) fair pricing , service a little slow. Lovely location and had a few glasses of white wine. My partner had the chicken and chips, which he enjoyed, maybe a little dry for me.

This is the place to go if you want an chilled out sun downer! Yes the drinks are ridiculously expensive. Yes it does get over crowded. But it is still better than the competitors offering the same view. Come early to get the front row tables!The homemade ravioli is really good!Dont order the brownies... Its disgusting!

A Nice hidden place with a delicious coffee and snacks. It is just next to the beach and you can directly look at the ocean. Staff was polite with good understanding of English. Prices are typical for the area.

I do not know how to explain it, but this is a beautiful place on the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean, the beaches of Zanzibar with white sand within the old stone town; a hitorical town and world heritage site.It is a quiet place for the whole period, especially in the evening it is a beach area used by locals and tourists for swimming, exercise, beach soccer and relaxation.I recommend this place.

So nice we came back twice! Great location to watch the sunset at happy hour. Boxed white wine was dry and the burger was tasty. Staff were friendly. A pity there isnt a no smoking section as not everyone wants other peoples cigarette smoke blowing in their faces.

We had our first meal (octopus curry and fish fillet) in Zanzibar at Travellers Cafe and I thought it was the best one I had during my time in the island. Prices were very reasonable too.

The location was great and the service overall was pretty good. The free snack of freshly cooked chips was great. Unfortunately my cocktail was not the best (very artificial tasting rather than fresh ingredients) for the price and we had to give the bill back three times to get the correct happy hour prices. Still worth a visit though, just check your bill!

Drinks and location are great. However the food which was served to me wasnt fresh (The shrimps stank like my armpits) as I tried to explain to two different waitresses the just laughed and Walkes away... Go there to get a drink but you can let the food where it is.

Nice location and the wraps are really tasty. Service fine. Not an extensive menu. Pity about the netting obscuring the view. Id come back for the wraps and the lovely sound of the ocean.

Great location, with lots to see on the beach. Place has a nice vibe price reasonable. They could improve on their food though.

The menu is various and tasty. My favorite is the sardine Milanese. Then you can have the real espresso and a taste of great Italian ice cream.

Internet is good and the beers cold. Just on the beach. And more quiet then other places closer to center. Perfect.

They shorted me on my change by several dollars and when I pointed it out they tried claiming that they didnt have the right amount to pay me. I could see it in the register. When I pointed THAT out the girl stopped speaking English and walked away.
