This little remote boutique hotel was a lovely find. They only have 8 rooms/villas, giving it a lovely homely feel.Highlights:a) They accommodated my early check inb) Friendly and attentive staffc) My room (Masai villa) was HUGE, and so beautifully decorated. Really clean.d) amazing food - especially Swahili night. The chefs did a great job. They also provided a packed breakfast the morning I left early for safari.e) You get to meet some Masaai people who work in the hotel as security. They are lovely beautiful people.Lowlights:a) Snorkelling gear was mouldy, so I chose not to use it. Recommend bringing your own.b) Food can become a bit repetitive, so I wouldn’t stay longer than a week here.c) It is a very remote area, so if you plan to do a lot of trips/excursions I would recommend somewhere else. But if you just want to chill, it’s ideal.

This hotel is a gem in Zanzibar and we would have extended our stay had we not other prepaid plans.Come here if you want to a hidden tropical experience. Middle of the forest with cute huts.Staff 5/5, really thoughtful and friendly. Mr. Juma knows around the reef and is a jolly joker when it comes to local knowledge.Food superb, wide variety of cocktails.This is also probably the cleanest hotel we ever stayed in. Spotless.We had a small issue with water pressure, but it was fixed quickly.We will return if we have a chance.

I strongly recommend this resort for his services! It has a vast domain with 8 luxury villas wich are very big, cleaned every day! Also a great pool with view to the ocean! Tikitam is very beautifully designed boutique resort at Pongwe beach. The garden and pool area is very elegant and enchanting to say the least.The rooms and villas are spacious with comfortable bed and a large bathroom.Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, specially the GM couple. They were very accommodating and took special care of us.Our room and bed was decorated with flowers at the time of our arrival to make our anniversary a little more special . Tip of the iceberg was they had planned an actual surprise dinner for us, which was very sweet of them and Food was also very delicious, beautifully served and spoke of good quality

Tikitam Palm is a brand new hotel definately worth staying in.A welcome drink at the reception and a bottle of wine with platter of fruits in the room were a good start :)Tikitam is a quiet, spacious and very green place. The staff is very friendly, caring and proactive.Liked a lot the pool area. A great place for reading a book, drinking a fresh coconut juice and admiring the ocean view.Food is very delicious, nicely served and of good quality.The Swahili Villa where we stayed exceeded our expectations. Very clean, well equipped and decorated with a good taste. The terrace of our villa is also a wonderful place for reading a book and drinking wine :)Special thanks to all the team for making my wifes birthday unforgettable. Our bed decorated with flowers and the birthday cake with dances and local songs made our day.

The only thing I regret is leaving! This place is a GEM - from the personalized and warm hospitality, staff, management, facilities, beach and food. I cant wait to come back. Go for it!

Really nice hotel, rooms are perfect, everything is really very clean. The entire area is very nicely laid out. What really stood out was how much effort they put in. Every day there was a colorful arrangement on the bed with fresh flowers. On the last evening there was a special dinner and the manager took his time personally at any time. Really a hotel run with great attention to detail.

A wonderful place on earth. If someone plans to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while, I heartily recommend this place. Somehow great service, large rooms, spacious food delicious. The hotel is set in a tropical forest just beautiful.

The rooms meet expectations - except for impractical furniture ....Rest - restaurant () and pool one star, beach not usable (no sand, garbage and smellZanzibar is not Covid-free, there is compulsory testing in both directions (80-160 $ ​​/ person, not recognized in EU!)

Rooms are comfortable, each individual and special, and for every taste. It will be equally comfortable for one and a large family. The philosophy of the hotel supports the idea of ​​organicity and naturalness. Thats why they use an incredible variety of local fruits, vegetables, greens and spices for cooking. Seafood, fish and meat - all dishes are delicious and do not leave indifferent. Special attention should be paid to home-made pastries and jams from local products, mango with cloves - my favoriteвори. Well, the ocean - it is grand and breathtaking. Unforgettable impression.
