We had a nice boat trip to Mnemba island for snorkeling on an old wooden boat. The crew was nice and very well in keeping an eye on us during the snorkeling sessions. The included food was delicious with fruits, some African donuts and vegetable wraps. The gears were in good condition mostly, but if something is wrong, just mention it to the staff and they help you out with another set.

After having not done any scuba diving for a while, I found this lovely Diving place in Nungwi Beach. After a quick refresher course with our instructor/guide, Ali, off we went on a local boat (which I loved, but some did not share the joy of the rocky boat even after taking sea-sick pills), a 2 hour trip to Mnemba Island. We had two fantastic dives of about 40 min each, where Ali took us about 18-20 m deep where we were surrounded each time with thousands of fish, a wonderful variety of schools of fish that were so unafraid that you could reach out and touch them. Visibility was good. We had freshly cut pineapple chunks and donuts to snack on, and for lunch, we had a tasty local wrap (cant remember the local name) and more sweet pineapple. Take lots of sunscreen and an underwater camera, you might just catch a pic of the illusive tortoise, rays or eels...

We had a fantastic time with Divine Divers. The crew is very professional, friendly and makes you feel safe during the whole trip. The shop is both DAN and PADI certifiedWe did a 2-dive trip to Mnemba Atoll. The dive sites were beautiful. When you arrive in the morning, all your gear is prepared already (you have to fill out a form online when you book). You start then in Nungwi by boat with approx 15pax in the boat, heading to Mnemba Atoll, which takes ca. 1 -1.5 hours. Expect to get wet on the way to the boat (you waddle there through the water). Once arrived, the dive master gives a briefing, then you’re ready to dive. We were in a group of six, with one dive master and one dive master trainee. Between and after the dives you’re provided with plenty of water and amazing local food (fruit, light lunch,...). On the way back we saw Dolphins.Price for the trip to Mnemba for 2 dives was 145$ (115+30$) which was absolutely worth the experience.

Me and my Fiancee visited Zanzibar for 8 days after our safari in Tanzania. We had an amazing time, and the dives were amazing. I have snorkeled lots on many trips such as Mexico, California, Dominican, and Hawaii, and was stoked to finally try diving. Unfortunately I was not able to do my PADI open water theory course before our vacation, but Jumi taught me everything I needed to know, and was very thorough and had many good tips. I felt relaxed and safe throughout the exercises and practice dives. I definitely recommend doing the theory before, but was still worth it as the following 4 days of diving was well worth the time I had to spend on it. I was new to diving, but my fiancee has had many dives in places like Thailand, and Philippines. She said Divine was her favourite dive company shes used as everyone working there was extremely friendly and helpful. They load the boats and also switch tanks between dives. Theres also water and some delicious fruit supplied between dives. Ali was her divemaster and was great. Every site we visited was very nice, and even saw an octopus, and a big sea turtle along with all the other beautiful sea life along the reefs.Another very nice service was pick up and drop off which was included in the price. We stayed almost a 10 min drive away, and they were also flexible for when we wanted to go back to our resort (we often stuck around that area for beach/sun/swimming, and also for dining). On low tide we could walk along the beach back, but was nice to have a ride during high tide and after a very busy day. We kept adding more dives, and it was no problem and we didnt have to pay until the end. Thanks Divine!Sorry, my GoPro photos dont do the colours justice. Water off the island is so turquoise and beautiful and the coral is so colourful!

We booked a double dive to Mnemba island the day before and only had to fill out an online form which was very convenient. For further questions we could reach the staff via WhatsApp.The place is very nice and organized. We arrived at 8:30 in the morning and a big with our personal goggles and fins was ready. Very competent staff who helped us to pick a wetsuit and weights for the dive. We then had to walk about through the water to get in the boat - so I would be careful with taking stuff that shouldn’t get wet (but you can store it safely with divine divers inside the school)The ride to Mnemba was very long (~1-1.5h) because the boat was very slow and big (carried ca. 15 people) but they provided water, snacks (fruit, donuts,...) and after the second dive we even got a light lunch (self made and super good!).As I get seasick very easily I wouldn’t go out to Mnemba from Nungwi again, although it was amazing to dive out there! I guess I’d rather do a local reef or Tumbatu island as it is closer (we went to Mnemba another time from Matemwe, which was way faster!)Nevertheless, the experience was great and I can highly recommend divine divers!

We went snorkeling to Mnemba Island with Divine Diving. They use the wooden boats which is great but be careful it is 1.5 h boat ride and can be quite bumpy so if you are prone to be car or boat sick take some pills. The gear is in good condition and they even provide wetsuits but that was about it.Besides one Polish gentleman we were the only two non russians on the boat and felt completely ignored. The main guide was Russian and did the entire briefieng in Russian without even asking if anyone does not speak it. Luckily one of the local guides realised we were not russian and gave us a short intro in English. I did not hear one single word from the snorkeling instructor though the entire trip. It was only my second time snorkeling and I was hoping for some guidance and support since in the beginning I am always a bit panicky. However the instructor just jumped into the water and went away. He did not even say put on your equipment or anything, you kind of had to look around and follow what the others were doing. Luckily my husband took the time to make me feel comfortable snorkeling and we enjoed the beautiful marine life and corals together, otherwise it would have been a wasted trip.

Very impressed with the crew on today’s dive trip! Everyone was extremely safe, knowledgeable and fun. They also clearly love the ocean and take clear steps to protect it, from providing reusable water bottles to doing weekly dive cleanups. I would totally choose them again or recommend to anyone. We had a great day out at Mnemba Island; aw everything from trevally to octopus to giant frog fish and peacock mantis shrimp. The bonus dolphin visit was icing on the cake. Thanks guys!

Excellent diveshop. I did two diving trips with them - Tumbatu and Mnemba and was extremely happy. Gear is good condition and well taken care of, divemasters and instructors were professional, staff is friendly and helpful and the diving group was small. Their boat is quite big which could make a difference on rough sea. Recommended!

Came here to ask for advance and open water, guy there was more intersted in talking by phone than oferring the service, meanwhile was looking at the prices, considerable good prices, meanwhile the same guy took a blank folder and hide the table prices slaping it against the table, so as there are many diving centers, we decide to chose another one, shame cause had good reviews....

Visited several dive sites Tumbatu, Mnemba, and local Nugwi sites, the visibility was best on Mnemba, about 50m the guide said the maximum is very beautiful, large schools of fish, meter thick groupers of different colors, parrots half a meterIn other places the visibility was less but worth a visit, drifting with the current over corals, corals like mushrooms, hats, scales, interesting fish. Russian guides, good organization. I chose for a long time before the trip, it turned out that the prices were low for Nugwi and everything is simple and clear. I advise!

We did a basic dive. Our instructor, the legendary Dixon, first in the pool and then at sea, was a professional and comprehensive guide. Il Divine is a leading structure, very organized and offers unforgettable experiences. It costs a little more, but its worth it. The equipment is not brand new but more than valid. Highly recommended.

Good equipment, nice dive guides. Ride on a dhow to the dive site. It was actually quite nice but it took a long time to get to the reef.Warning: you get quite wet when getting on and off the Dhow because you have to wade through the water with full luggage.
