Great scuba dive center! Very kind and helpful personnel. Everything is very organized and professional. Would definitely recommend if you are in Zanzibar.

One of the best dive shops I have encountered! I did one day’s diving and another snorkelling.Ali, the dive master, was exceptionally good. I had a couple of issues on the dive and he was totally on it, safety wise. The dive sites were beautiful too, and I felt very well looked after by the crew.The snorkelling trip was so good - my first in a long time. Eva was our guide and he excelled himself, in particular when we encountered wild dolphins.Overall it’s a great safe operation that I would recommend and trust. Additionally they give delicious snacks and spiced tea on the boat - true Zanzibar hospitality! Can’t wait to come again.Oh and a shout out to Laura the manager for answering my 1000 questions over email - she’s running a good show!

The recommended club to have a nice & safe diving experience with friends or family. The club Managed by 2 great European managers (Laura & Ludo) & you feel it : they know what you need to enjoy such a magic moment in full security & joy. Our family followed the Open Water Course. We enjoyed the moment so much that we came back at the end of our Zanzibar stay for a last dive with Laura around the great Mnemba island diving spot and its cristal water & thousands of nice fishes !

This scuba dive center may seem a bit more pricey than surrounding centers... but the price is totally worth the service. We booked a day trip with snorkeling and BBQ. We followed the guide during the snorkeling in the waters. Its not like other snorkeling boats who just drop you off.

Great experience with this dive club. Did 6 dives with them, and each time was great, because of their professionalism and hospitality. It also helps that mnemba island offers many great dive spots.

Booked the double dive via email some time in advance and could communicate with Petra via WhatsApp which was very convenient.As we didn’t stay in Matemwe directly, we were picked up from our hotel in Kiwengwa in the morning. When we arrived at scuba fish, we received a bag with a number for our fins and goggles, put on the wetsuit, and jumped on to the speed boat (6 people + 2 staff). The ride to Mnemba on the speed boat was awesome and super fast (~10mins), very convenient when you get seasick very easily (like me..)We did two dives (4 divers + 1 dive master), ate some snacks in between before they took us back to the shore. The whole trip was around 4 hours. You pay afterwards (5% fee on credit card payments)I can highly recommend scuba fish, they are very professional and the experience was great!

(snorkeling&diving 4h trip)Those guys are awesome. I really enjoyed the whole experience because it was very professional, swift and most of all beautiful. Its a clear cut deal, not like many other trips in Zanzibar and Tanzania in general. No one will tryhard to make you tip etc. They are all super nice and helpful. You can feel that they enjoy this time as well. You get snacks and water on the way and you dont have to worry about anything. The chief buddy on the boat (the one with dreadlocks) is hella charismatic and will walk you thought all the rules, so if youve never snorkled like me, dont worry. Highly recommend!Do the trup with this company, not with beach boys.

Had an amazing time and very professional team at Scubafish Zanzibar.The crew picked us up in the hotel in Kiwengwa and brought us to Scubafish, which is located in the Kena Resort in Matemwe. Once geared up, we went to Mnemba Atoll with the speedboat, which was fantastic (and a unique experience when riding across the beautiful shores). We did two dives and had a quick snack break inbetween. We were back at 12:30.Can highly recommend, Petra and Team are doing a phenomenal job 🙌

It is a nice place to make your first dive but not for someone with experience.It was more of a tour than a dive. The dive master made us fly through the water trying to get us to consume oxygen as quickly as possible, on the other hand the communication under water was terrible, lastly the 2 dives were so short that I returned to the boat with 90bar

Scubafish were a fantastic dive operation to dive with during my time in Zanzibar. I went out on the boat with them over 2 days.The first day, I went diving with 3 other friends and we were the only ones on the boat. Our local dive guide for the day was Ali. He was attentive and careful to make sure we were all comfortable during the dives. As I had my camera, he took extra effort to point out some macro subjects for me. It was very much appreciated! At the end of our 2 dives, we were fortunate enough to encounter dolphins next to our boat as well!The second day, we went out for a sunrise boat trip in search of dolphins to swim with. Our guide for the day was Mcha. He was excellent too! Although the dolphins were not so keen to show themselves, Mcha did his best with his local knowledge to locate them for us. Once he did, we were happily in the water with these beautiful creatures. Within our group, we also had an elderly lady who was not a strong swimmer. Mcha took extra care with her, making sure she was comfortable with the ring float and was still able to enjoy the dolphin swim experience.My communication with Scubafish was predominantly through Laura and she was extremely helpful and lovely.Thank you for being a wonderful dive centre! I would most definitely come back again if I return to Zanzibar :)Highly recommended to anybody needing a reliable centre with excellent staff.

We just did a snorkelling trip with these guys after diving with a local competitor. Theyre based out of Zanzibar Queen Hotel but offered pick up from other local hotels by boat or by car.The boat and equipment were all of a good standard. We got a great view of dolphins and some nice snorkelling. Our guide was nice but his fish knowledge could have been better! Some nice snacks between snorkels.Price $45 each, a bit steep given you join a boat already going out for diving and we had some of our own kit! I never asked what price the locals stationed on the beach would do the same trip for, for reference.All in all, seem like a good outfit for diving.

An incredible time. We decided to give scuba diving a go as we had never done it before. Immediately we were greeted by friendly staff who were willing to put us through initial training right away and take us diving the next day. No request was too much - when I managed to get burnt to the point of not being able to stretch on a wet suit, they simply arranged us for a following day.The trip to Mnemba started out with a minibus ride to the northern tip of the island where we hopped onto our boat. The staff were helpful, kind and encouraging. Equipment checks were quick, we got suited up and off we went. Dives were adjusted according to conditions like currents on the way. After our initial dive we took a break in our big boat with some fresh fruit and local vegetarian snacks. Then we moved to another location and dived again, this time down to 12m.We loved our day so much we booked the following day to go again. Special thanks to Yong Mi and Paddy for encouraging, looking after us and maybe even getting us hooked on scuba!Could not recommend Scubafish any more highly. Brilliant.

Had the best experience with Scubafish! Some highlights were seeing dolphins and octopus. The staff are all professional and friendly and make you feel at home. Their equipment is great and the location is perfect. Petra the manager does a fantastic job ensuring all of the guests have a positive experience. Will definitely be back!

Scuba fish: A well run business that offers snorkelers and scuba divers a trip to Memba Atoll. The instructors were top notch and always made sure everyone was having a great experience, Andy did his job especially well. Im glad they handled diving with dolphins ethically. Highly recommended.

We booked a snorkeling tour with Scubafish and it was really enjoyable. Everything perfectly organized (we shared the boat with other snorkeling guests and divers), the staff is well trained and super-friendly. The tour itself was breathtaking, we had the opportunity to swim with an uncountable number of dolphins. Staff and captain were very flexible and always respectful with their guests and the animals.

It was amazing! Absolutely professional and also funny guides. I felt very safe during the snorkeling trip, even though the weather was a little bit rough. The whole trip was organized very well. If you want to snorkel or dive at Mnemba, i definitely recommend Scubafish.Special Thanks are going out to Black Dolphin, who took some really brilliant pictures with my camera under water, so now i have a whole lot of memories. :-)

Top notch diving centre. When we were preparing our trip, we emailed a few diving centres and they were the most helpful and professional so we decided to book with them. We were very happy with our choice as it ended up being amongst the top 3 dive centres we’ve tried so far in the world. As you as you arrive you know you are in good hands, they have staff to welcome you and arrange for your equipment, their equipment is in great condition, they provide water and they make great briefing once on the boat. They respected all PADI rules, which is basic but rare. Between your dives you will have a great choice of delicious snacks.Since we are advanced divers we had the chance to have a master for us two which means other sites and longer dives. On the second dive, there was a slight oxygen leakage which I identified to the person in charge and he changed the detector right away. Again it had happened to me in the past and most of the time the masters tell you « don’t worry about it » or sometimes they just don’t have additional material. ScubaFish is a top notch dive centre that care about your safety and about you and pay attention to details. They also take care of the cleaning when you comeback on land. Great attention to details. Congrats guys!

Dive with them unfortunately only once. Great team with a good team spirit. Our guide Ali was amazing, very saftey concious, pointing out fish we didnt even spot, very calm and super helpful. Wish is couldve done more dives with them. Definately recommended.

The staff at scuba fish are fantastic and friendly and the dive sites are good and close.. prices are pretty consistent with what I have paid elsehwere however we had a series of gear issues over the 5 days we dived with them.. not a day without some issue. worth a visit but do make sure you check all the gear as it can make or break and experience and paying $150 for a dive when your mask fills up constantly because the rubber is old and corroded is annoying. Staff and PADI traing was however excellent!

Staff Very professional and helpful, and also good price if you compare with other companies that goes to Mnemba Still. We paid 125 USD for 2 dives in Mnemba Atoll, with all fees and gear/equipment include.As we are not beginners, we felt that they didnt make any effort to take us to the best spots in the Atoll, like for advanced divers, as we could see some pelagic (Big Wall instead Aquarium, for instance).But besides this, we recommend them, because sometimes we havent asked properly before, and all staff were really kind and gentle.Good experience, specially for beginners or snorkelers.

Great diving experience!

Very expensive. I’ve dived all over the world and this was about the most expensive and least rewarding. The sea is amazing there was some very nice fish and stuff but for $120 we got 2 very quick dives on a small rib with little or no pre dive breakdown. We would have loved to do more dives in Zanzibar but felt it was not worth it!

I will definitely try scuba diving again, its Awesome...best first experience ever, seeing different types of fish 😍 Thanks to the Scuba Team for a wonderful session.

Super great diving school with a very competent and friendly team. Despite several years of abstinence from diving, we felt comfortable and safe at all times. Especially because of our 1A diving instructor Asheli, who stood by us and who does his job incredibly well. We hope to see you again!

Very friendly and professional club. Initiation in the swimming pool the day before the dive for the baptisms where Laura explained the basics to us before going out to sea. On the day of the dive, the club came to pick us up from our hotel by bus to join the boat. After 15-20min we arrived at the first site. A very beautiful coral drop off with lots of fish. After a snack, we then went to the second equally beautiful site. After returning to the club, we were very kindly taken back to our hotel.To redo. We strongly recommend !!

Top center run by 2 very nice French geobiologists. The equipment is perfect, the instructors too. They take care of your choices and make you dive with people of the same level which is appreciable. There are about fifteen spots around mnemba island.The prices are very reasonable.I highly recommend.
