I had a seafood plate I booked the night before for lunch. It was voluminous, reasonably priced and good, but I had a stomachache for a week after that. I took the medicine I brought and it was cured, but I think it was probably not cooked well…

We enjoyed our lunch there very much! They prepare all their dishes fresh and it was very delicious! A local owned place with a nice vibe directly at the beach! The prices are great, the food is tasty, the staff was super nice - highly recommend!

Very good sea food and pilau, big portions. We ate there almost every day during our 2-weeks stay.One minus was the waiting time which was always between 40 to 60 min. But apparently thats how it works on the island. It wasnt the only restaurant that made us wait for our dinner that long. But fresh sea food was worth the wait!

Food was awesome! We eat there 3 times and really enjoyed.

Seafood platter - amazing.Overall impression - they do their job if you ask for something, but no proactive.. You want some chilli souce you need to ask, want water to wash hands (no bathroom) need to ask...

Great restaurant exactly at the beach. The seafood is excellent - I had the best octopus curry! The prices are very fair for what you get. Definitely cheaper that the places around. I recommend to pre-order the food as it might take time. Keep in mind that this is Zanzibar and be patient - it’s worth it!

Food was OK. Drink prices were okay, but... But 5 minutes in this restaurant means 2 hours. Weve lost at least 3 hours in this restaurant just because of the lunch. The worst part was that after almost one and half hour of waiting waiter told us that he does not have prawns and we need to order something else. Lobster and langusta is the same thing and its not that great. Also fresh juice took them 1 hour. If the service improves it could be good, but now I would avoid.

If I could rate 0 I would definitely did it. We were inspired for a dinner by the feedback in Google maps and decided to go. When we arrived there were no tables in the beach, only in the dark room. Half of the menu was not available, even samosas that are usually served by every place. Also the bar did not serve anything but water and soda. All of that was the showstopper of a nice dinner and we decided to leave and probably will never return.

Super fresh, made to order. Staff is friendly and great view right on the beach. I’ll come back!

Got food poisoning from here, was so bad I ended up in hospital and still recovering from it 2 weeks later. I had the king prawn curry, my husband had calamari salad and he also had a bad time with his tummy! We heard after to not eat seafood here in the evenings, due to it might have been caught during day and not stored properly throughout the day.

We have traveled to many restaurants around the island, but always come back here.If you have the opportunity - order in advance, we asked for 2-3 hours, and this was enough for the Lobsters to be perfectly cooked much Better than in other places.The lovely chef kindly showed us the fresh lobsters, shrimp available for us to choose from.Praise the chef!Unforgettable emotions of a wonderful delicious dinner at sunset, with a view of the Ocean (and feet in the warm sand) - for an amateur of course;) I really want to come back.To the children from Amur - Thank you very much!

Just yesterday we were in this colorful local cafe. Especially I waited one day to check the consequences of our dinner, taking into account the local specifics))) everything is fine. We ordered each a lobster. Cooked pretty quickly - 30-35 minutes. First, they brought a large plate containing two small lobsters. We were already ready to eat them, when immediately after them they brought another plate with a huge lobster. As I understand it, the menu indicates a portion of 0.5 kg, and if the lobster does not reach the required weight, they put two medium ones. It was very tasty and, in principle, inexpensive, it cost $ 30. One could write about a large number of flies that immediately swooped down on our food, but this is an attribute of local life, without them nowhere
