It is a wonderful place indeed. The room are nice, the food is fantastic and the exterior environment is epic. The cool Lake Tanganyika is just at the toes, so as the swimming pool. Dont miss the place when you are at Kigoma.....

Been going there for a very long time. Unfortunately since the opening of the hotel neither the bar nor the restaurant has been able to offer ice cubes for the drinks. Does not deserve the four star ranking it has given itself.

Their oven grilled migabuka fish is to die for. Great view of lake Tanganyika as well.

Its a beautiful hotel with views of the lake that are unobstructed. The stuff are helpful but could be a bit kinder.I think its a problem with all the hotels in the western regions of Tanzania.. I spent a night with my wife here and upon checking out nobody bothered to help us with carrying the luggage to the car.. The facility is good. Breakfast is also good but the service could be better.Also there was no slippers in the room and upon requesting for a pair the reception made it feel like we were asking for a favour.All in all its the best in its rate.

Visited this hotel once while in the city of kigoma n I must confess the breeze especially in the evening time is the best near the pool side so its one of the sweet mementos I have for this magnificent hotel 😊

An ideal get-away on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, with a contemporary bar and a swimming pool by the water. The lush green and flowery gardens make for the perfect outdoor. Charges for accommodation, meals and drinks are pocket friendly.

The hotel is located by the lake. Lake Tanganyika. Almost all rooms have a direct view of the lake. Its beautiful made but not properly maintained. Service can take longer than necessary and their waiters and waitresses are not the best in the world.

Great location but the hotel is not up to standard which is a shame. Food is not so great either. Staff are friendly and do well with what they have it seems.

Kigoma region is beautiful place to visit, lake tanganyika hotel is amazing come and see lake view, there are nice fish we call it MUGEBUKA.

The location and service is good. But sometimes good takes long time to be ready. Some of us cant wait very long, especially when you are hungry
