Its a good place, neither very classy nor local. Its a bed and breakfast. The rooms are self contained. The security is good and the price is good too 20,000 Tanzanian shillings about 9 usd money per night

Baraka lodge is found to kigoma municipal councel to the main road going to train station, around to Kisangani street

Place to flee! no opinion on the location, accommodation fairly clean overall but the service clearly leaves something to be desired. only one night spent here and luckily. no electricity during the day and evening .... The women who run this place have clearly not been respectful. No politeness to say hello, no word of English spoken, having to ask 3 times for toilet paper, and the worst is when we are brought back a dirty kitchen towel as a hand towel. Lots of misplaced looks and Swahili lyrics as soon as you walked past them. too bad because it could have been a beautiful place. the current sanitary situation is difficult for everyone, but receiving rare tourists in these conditions during this period is not going to do them any service.
