Fairly nice place, on a very quiet location. The rates are not bad ranging from 60,000/- ( about 27 USD) per night. Breakfast is super.Ample and secure parking space. Watch out for cats looking for engine warmth under the bonnet in the morning.

Nice place but the breakfast was nothing to write home about.In the South of Tanzania one would expect fresh veggies and assorted fruits but there was not much to choose from. So we stayed for only one night.We expected more from the rates we paid for the stay.

The environment is kinda nice but the problem is with the food..we had to wait for almost an hour or more for our food and when it came it was not worth the wait..I mean fried rice, the worst Ive eaten in my life but I guess its a cool place if you want to just chill but for good food, I would not recommend.

The environment is kind of nice but the problem is with the food..I had to wait for an hour and a half almost for my food and it was not worth it!! I mean fried rice was the worst Ive ever had..I wouldnt recommend.

Gentle hills, my imagination weren’t enough to imagine the beauty of this place until when I visited.It’s a cool place for adventure lovers,I liked the menu as it leaves you amazed with what should you take at a time, a wide variety of food and drinks which are served within a short waiting time.The background slow music 🎶 it’s more than a company while you are having your mealThe staffs are cooperative and courageous to listen and advise customers, they are friendly and knowledgeable about different kinds of foods they serve.The sleeping rooms are adequate for your dreamy night,It’s a right location for photoshoot 📹 📸 and 🤳 lovers, the gardens are themselves a nice refresher for your visit.

Decent cool place

Breakfast is good, rooms very nice and spacious and the ambience and grounds quite nice. Oly trouble is the days they have functions then music is loud but otherwise a good place to stay. Sometimes the service is wanting

Gentle hills is a hotel with probably three stars and its good to be there. Good and cool environment and easy to access all basic needs. Its place where ceremony like wedding, sendoff, bag part and kitchen part usually are done

Nice food and services

The hotel is clean and close to the city main road. There are indoor and outdoor restaurants which have great BBQ menu. The briekfast is not so good. Sometimes you need to ask for bread and the toster. The other problem is the noise. The area is used for events like wedding etc. So, expect noise in the day time as well as evenings. The windows are new but with almost no noise reduction.

The rooms were clean but there was no hot water in the shower. Service was very slow at breakfast where the tables were left with dirty plates for a long time and food ran out and wasnt replaced.

The place is great, is the place everyone should go, Place have a good service and affordable for any people, Gentle Hills is a Good Hotel at all.
