Its really good for chinese. The food was awesome and very tasty. The brinjal fries were just out of this world. Just too good to put in words. The portion size was also good. Ordered soup , starter , 2 gravy n 1 rice portion ehich was enough for 4 adults with some left overs as well.

You can call this a town branch of the MASAKI GR8 WALL RESTAURANT. The food is absolutely delicious and the ambiance is gr8 as well. The prices charged are reasonable for the portion servings. I bet you can not go wrong with this place. The sichuan special chicken is a must try.

Chinese is my no.1 favourite cuisine. To me soul food is chinese food. I am so happy that great walls portion is so huge, enough for everyone. Its all worth the money. You will never go wrong with this one.

Google says its open and theres a review from only two months ago, but when we arrived there was a guard outside that said it had been closed for Corona and hadnt reopened. They really need to keep their Google page up to date!

Celebrated my 18 birthday here many year ago. It was a beautiful restaurant then and even wonderful place now. Very generous with the portions. Definitely value for money!

Over several years and a few renovations that rendered it a little more upscale than it used to be, Great Wall aka Sichuan is arguably the best chinese food in town. A combination of sweet & sour chicken, beef in black pepper sauce and egg fried rice is more than enough for 3-4 people, as the portions are respectable. Or try the Hot Pot for a fun, social evening. Sure it’s a tad bit on the expensive side, but hey - you get a bowl of fried nuts before your meal and free tupperware takeout containers at the end, so can you really complain?

Had two items. None upto mark. Had chilli chicken dry. Chicken was under cooked. Couldnt chew. Ordered for chicken dim sums. The coverings were as thick as Pita bread. Very disappointed.

I still miss the old Sichuan restaurant Menu, but with the rebranding to Great Wall, still a good place for Chinese Dishes in Dar es Salaam. Far better than then Great Wall at Oyster Bay

For Chinese people this place is very nice .I went today with some guests from China and they loved the food and the service also , for me also I got some other few dishes which we Africans can eat , just price is little bit high according to some other places in town .
