Nice, relaxed atmosphere and good service.Good food and huge portions. They are definetly meant to be shared or youll just have leftovers for 2 meals. They have some outdoor space as well and a small kids playground.

They have a beautiful setting, clean environment, affordable and yet incredibly tasty food. I would definitely recommend a date, a team lunch or dinner or a work meeting. They even have rooms that can double up as meeting rooms or a more private gathering. They have great service too

Excellent Chinese food in Dar es Salaam

Good Food. Expensive. Very dry ribs.The service seems to have fallen off a cliff.Also we were served sizzles in a cracked platter while it was leaking.The noodles and the fried rice had no Salt at all whatsoever. When we informed the lady who came by to ask everything was OK, she had a hearty laugh and said its ok, all can add soya sauce.Whaaattt??? 🙃🤯🧐The restaurant seems to have fallen into sad times. I feel sad. It used to be so good. Today was a disappointment.

Clean and bright, fast service, very flavourful dishes in incredible portions. Not too expensive but definitely worth the prices.I love how much space there is inside and the divisions within the restaurant make it feel like theres much fewer people around.Must recommend the sweet and sour chicken, and chicken with cashewnuts. Kung pao beef also very good.

Food is great. We ordered sweet n sour pork, its crunchy with right consitency of sauce. Egg fried rice never disappoints you. Every special occassion we celebrate it here with my husband

Chinese food. Who doesnt like it. This place offers great meat and chicken dishes they say its all halal meat. I recomend the beef in black bean sauce. However its highly priced. But if you go in a group the food will be sufficient and cost comes down when going dutch

This place is seriously good. Ticks all the boxes. Excellent Chinese food, great service, generous portions and reasonably priced! They also have separate rooms which are great for business purposes or if youre a large family and want some private space and dont want to disturb others. The aubergine fries in this place are out of this world! Ive never had anything like that ever. This is a place you can go to over and over again and youll never tire!

Went here on a tuesday night, and i must say.... I had a great time! There werent many people and the place had good ambiance, We had trouble choosing what to eat because there were so many food choices! My favorite was the sweet and sour pork 🐷The food was delicious and we didnt have to wait that long...The waiters were ok, need to be a little bit more attentive.The prices are ok since the portions are really big.The place was neat but the bathrooms need a little bit of cleaning.Overall, would definitely recommend!

My recommendation, do the HotPot. its like all you can eat. cost around 40k thats around $17 per person but you eat everything until you say enough.

Visited today for a huge takeout order. They gave us some old fried ricw. It had a terrible smell on opening the container and the rice was slimy. Shame on you Great Wall. You charge too much for your dishes to be up to these nasty tricks. This order was for my daughters birthday and we were truly disapponted.

Very nice! Only one thing I need to say that the waiter should mention if full or half portion is needed. As v were only two n a full portion of bowl came on the table whereby we could not even finish half of the food!

I love this place. First discovered my love for chinese cuisine here. All their food is really good... and I would know, because Ive had multiple. The portions are really big and filling. We did have to wait for quite a bit, but we did order a lot so its understandable. The venue is really nice too.

Pricey. The duck was very much OK. It was nice that portions were large and there were leftovers the next day. Seems about moderately authentic. Our groups food came out at wildly different times which was a bit awkward.

Awful food. And awful service. I went once and I didn’t like it at all. I thought to give it a second chance and it was worse. The environment is too loud, it has gross smell most of the times and there isn’t a pleasant ambience. The food was served cold as usual. The tables were shaking to the point the food would drop on the table. I don’t know if it’s just me or what. But yeah, it’s a no from me.

I only tried the shrimp fried rice with prawns and enjoyed it. Good eats.

Great wall oyster bay branch has very Poor service,the waiters are dirty especially ladies hair, some are rude. But the great wall at maktaba house branch is perfect nice place to go they have best service and food.

Being a fussy eater I was almost convinced not to visit this restaurant by a comment I read on here. On entering the restaurant we were asked if we would like the hot pot buffet, unsure we had some excellent dim sum to start whilst pondering the idea of the hot pot.Having lived in Saigon for several years I am familiar with the concept as the Vietnamese do wonderful versions of this, much better than the Korean or other equivalent.Be written having had a Chinese hit pot, and given the large variety of food on the table, we decided to give it a try. We are so very glad that we did. Although not as good as a Vietnamese version in Saigon it was still fantastic. The soup was in two parts, one being spicy and the other not so. The foods to cook in the soup consisted of tofu, copious mushrooms of various types, seaweed, beef, goat, chicken, prawns, pork and fish, with the usual Asian leaves to add. Of course there was chilli, corriander, ginger and garlic.For 38tzs each it was extremely good value for money as neither of us could finish the meal, despite craving just one more bite, and the food was delicious, the whole thing was a fantastic and fun experience.We intend to visit every fortnight.
