The reception staff is attentive but there are several things to fix in this hotel, the rooms are ok but not very well maintained, and the restaurant takes a lot of time to bring the food. One of the days of our stay we ordered a burger that took 30 min to arrive, when it arrived, half of it was rock solid, we told the chef to bring another one in good condition, after 20 min he brought back the burger smashed… we leaved very disappointed…
The Mvuli Hotels in Arusha is fantastic and very happy that we stayed here! The staff is incredibly friendly. They have large rooms, strong wifi and hot water for the guests. The outdoor pool is great to have after a long day. The attached restaurant has excellent food options. Both breakfast and dinner is served and they even have beer. The restaurant staff is very sweet and really make you feel welcome. Overall a great place to stay and would come again!
Mvuli Hotel was the perfect place to rest before and after our safari. The rooms are spacious and very comfy. We loved the outdoor area, the pool and the delicious food from the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and it made our stay even better!
This is the place to visit and relax before or after Safari Tour in Tanzania, Mvuli offers an outstanding Service
Very very kind and helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean with very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a bathtub, which was wonderful to use after a long safari. The garden is large with a nice swimmingpool. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits, pancakes, omelette etc. It is a very peaceful and quiet place. Was nice to stay here.
This place is so amazing we stay there for one month me and my fiancee a very thing is pafect ,staff they are very kind we will definitely come back we love you all And thanks to the owner she was halpfull I hope we will stay there during our honeymoon me and my fiancee
We had booked this hotel for the weekend, paid the deposit way in advance, on arrival for checking in, the staff called our local guide and explained that we needed to pay for our stay as international guests in US dollars, the booking confirmation had been already done in Tsh, and the remainder to be paid out by bank transfer, so we asked for an explanation on the changes, the staff were rather unprofessional, left the reception and hid in an adjoining room, so we had to look for another place to stay for the duration of the trip as we did not have any dollars with us. Found another nicer place, with better services, welcoming staff, we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the Mvuli Hotel! Our guides had booked it and we learned never to judge a hotel by its access road :) We felt welcomed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice garden, somewhat quiet at night (besides prayer calls and dogs). The property feels safe. Food was good, great breakfast buffet. The only thing that affected our stay was the way-too-generous use of bleach in the bathrooms and for washing the sheets. If you are sensitive to this smell, you’ll have a hard time. It is a very aggressive chemical and we would recommend switching to other cleaning products. We asked for non bleach cleaning and kept the bathroom door closed to manage it a bit better.
We stayed 2 nights at Mvuli Hotel in Arusha and really enjoyed this budget and quiet hotel.Beds were very comfortable, and bathroom was very clean.Breakfast was included and of great quality. The hotels restaurant was also very good. Average order is around 6 USD; the food itself was delicious and of quantity. The assistant manager Lilian was very professional and welcoming. The staff was polite and kept the hotel clean and in good condition. One important thing I have to mention is that this hotel allowed us to stay and check out at 6:00 pm. It was really helpful since our flight was departing at 10:00 pm, so we did not need to find another place to stay.Overall, it was a very nice place to stay, and we would highly recommend it to everyone
Relatively OK hotel in Arusha. The hotel is a little bit far away from city and main road (unable to go there by walk).Staffs are friendly and kind. The hotel has simple and small restaurant but it’s good.We stayed this hotel for very short time after Safari and left to Kilimanjaro Airport early morning. It took just one hour. It was good for this purpose. The hotel can arrange a taxi to the airport with 40USD.
I Always stay here when I come for work in Arusha and it’s affordable, clean, friendly and professional staff and the hotel grounds is very quiet. I also love their little restaurant. In my opinion, they have the best soups I’ve ever had in Tanzania. I would recommend this place and will be coming here again when I come back for work.
Nice hotel with a great garden for the kids even with a playground and swimming pool. We booked the family room which was Nice and big. The room has a sitting area with 3 couches a bathroom with tub and 2 queensize beds. And if you ever saw a big balcony this room has it also! The hotel did also bring you to the airport for a reasonble price. The restaurant was simple but had Nice food. Breakfast was also simple and tasty. I recommend this hotel for family and we wanted to go back but is was already full when we arrived for the second time in Arusha
Friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast, clean rooms and reasonable priced.Just on the outskirts of Arusha in a friendly neighbourhood accessible in a walking distance, try a tuk-tuk for the tarmac road and walk the rest.We had the best experience here before safari!
A wonderful place to be indeed that clearly fits the definition of a holiday experience. Warm staff.Smiling faces ready to greet you every morning.Great food, Clean rooms with staff at your service round the cloack. A happy people who made us really happy. You made our stay trully memorable n we will always look forward to holiday at Mvuli again.God bless you.
The rooms are about what you would expect for the price point. Staff are very nice and friendly. One of the security guards on the gate even walked with me at 0100hrs to the local liquor kiosk for another bottle of Konyagi. At night the neighbourhood can seem a little scary but no issue during the day. I would suggest ordering food from outside thr hotel. Everything seems to be cut on a cutting board that is used for onions...onion flavoured watermelon is not a nice breakfast food. The pancakes and coffee were delicious though. I would stay here again without question. The staff really go above and beyond.
Good place to stay, great service, good food and comfortable room. Minor problems, the internet was very slow and the water pressure in the bathroom was weak. Also is had to access because is far the center of the city and the access road is terrible, but the hotel has transportation to take you anywhere for cheap.
I stayed at Mvuli hotel with my fiancé before and after our safari. Our stay at Mvuli was one of the highlights of our trip. Mvuli was tucked away from Arusha center just on the edge of town. This was nice because it allowed us to get a great couple nights of sleep but was also close enough to town to make it easy to get back and forth. The rooms were very nice with all the amenities you would expect. The rooms were incredibly clean and well tended. Many thanks to Furaha and everyone else who tended to the rooms, they did an amazing job and were very friendly! This leads to the highlight of Mvuli, the staff. They were absolutely incredible from the moment they picked us up from the airport. The hotel van was very nice and well maintained by Baba, the driver, who was very friendly and more importantly a safe driver. David and the rest of the front desk staff were also very helpful and friendly. Any question we had they found the answers happily. The food at the restaurant was incredible! Even the temporary staff member, Jobe who was only filling in friend, was amazing. The staff was also very accommodating and willing to cook most anything you would ask if you gave them enough notice. This is also when we met Fanwell, he quickly became a close friend to us, he was so happy to help and excited to have us at the hotel. He was even kind enough to accompany us on a few excursions into Arusha town and even to Moshi. He was truly an incredible ambassador to Tanzania and great friend to us. I wish I could remember everyone’s names at the hotel because everyone single member of the staff was incredible. The amazing Mvuli staff is the reason we extended our stay in Arusha and we will be returning soon.
Anastasia at the front is fantastic. She will really go out of her way to make sure your needs are met. The rooms are good. But some may not have a good AC or bathroom since they are still building the place. The location is a bit out of the way and to get there does require a dirt road. Breakfast is standard and they also allow left luggage. There is a nice pool out back and some native fruit trees. In addition there is a childrens playground which is nice.
My friends and I had chosen this hotel for a 3 night accommodation in Arusha as we go about our day trips around. Its unfortunate that they were turned back, asked to pay in USD for international rates,( despite being EAC residents and no mention of this made during booking) yet a down-payment, in Tshs, had already been made by our tour guide couple of days prior. Granted, there might have been a fault on our end by the tour guide (miscommunication or him trying to profit from us by paying the hotel less than what we had paid him) , but this is only speculative as I have no proof of this as well. We were really looking forward to staying there but I guess it wasnt meant to be.
Lovely place. Very clean and wonderful customer service. The food just awesome. Love you Mvuli hotel and for sure l am coming back soon
Best place, fills like a home away from home

Wonderful place to stay
MVULI HOTEL THE BEST HOTEL THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN AT ARUSHA DUE TO ITS KIND WORKERS,GOOD SERVICE AND A CALM ENVIRONMENT FOR ENJOYMENT.ALSO I WOULD RECOMEND TO INFORM THE RECEPTIONIST INCASE OF WATER IN THE ROOM BECAUSE THEY NORMALLY HAVE TO PUMP MANUALLY.Keep it Up MVULI

A hotel, with nothing to highlight, but considering the location, more entertainment you can ask for. The staff is very attentive and helpful, the rooms fair, but generally fine. If you are here you must go out and walk through its streets. The people there are incredible. I was lucky enough to walk past a wedding and be invited. So much humility and so much generosity. They gave it to me and they offered everything. How we would have to learn all the countries that we call ourselves developed countries from these people. Societies, comforts, technologies separate us from being human, people and forgetting what we came from with nothing and we will leave with nothing.
Restaurant that feels dirty and unhealthy and service is slow and neither dinner nor breakfast reaches a minimum level. The pool does not encourage you to get into it (rare green color of the water). The staff who wait for the restaurant tables do not speak enough English for the position.
Serving meals, flexibility in Checkout, clean pool.Room hygiene to be taken into account.
We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff are welcoming and attentive to tourists. There is a large choice of menus in the restaurant at a largely affordable price. The staff fully respect the barrier measures against covid-19 by wearing masks and leaving hydroalcoholic gel available. We felt right at home!
A top-notch hotel, a very good restaurant, impeccable hygiene and the staff really take care 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Hotel of passage in Arusha very correct, with very friendly staff and attentive to any need. The rooms have a mosquito net, a terrace and a shower with hot water anytime. Everything was super clean. Free bottles of water in the room. Great food, a great surprise! It has a garden with good ideas with a swimming pool.
