The hotel was in a great location. Near shopping and restaurants. The room was bright and spacious. The bathroom was a little tight and the water pressure low. But for the price Im not complaining. One thing I have to say though, the staff its out of this world helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back. Thanks guys for everything you did for us.

Clean, spacious and good pool. Breakfast was amazing and staff was very friendly. Dinner was ok but slow. Internet very fast in my phone but didnt work in my partners. It could improve some things but in average its nice.

Green Mountain Hotel is a nice boutique style hotel in Arusha with beautiful ambiance and good and clean rooms. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Nice rooms with hot water running through out and fresh amenities. A friendly and helpful manager as well. There is a nice small swimming pool to chill at and its clean. Also there is a restaurant with variety of local and continental food options. The food is a little overpriced considering the quantity/portion but the overall stay experience was amazing. There isnindoor sitting as well as outdoor sitting at the restaurant area. They also have laundry services available at the hotel. i would surely go back to this hotel in the near future. Thank you to the green mountain hotel team for making my stay great for few days at your hotel.

Whenever the power voltage goes down, the Wifi connection goes off, you have to constantly call the reception from your room to reset it. Inconvenience.

Wonderful staff! We arrived very late (past 11 pm) and they still made us an amazing dinner! The waters are very attentive and friendly, especially Alan was really nice, he even worte a vocabulary sheet with the most important suaheli words down for us! Also the pool looked very nice. Definitely worth a stay for a layover in Arusha!The only downside is: its quiet noisy, a lot of street noise and people start talking and banging doors on the corridors at 6 am. Also the bathroom wasn’t very nice, could use a lot of improvement…

Its a budget hotel but it does the job.Their Internet is pretty fast and consistent. They have novels at the reception but none are in english though. perhaps most of their guests arent english speaking but thats fine. Breakfast was good.It can get quite noisy if you are on the groundfloor and are a light sleeper but otherwise its doable.Jackie at the front office was my absolute favorite. she changed my room and gave me an additional comforter when i complained I was cold.The entire staff is so friendly, I would definitely go back

After years still my favourite place to stay in Arusha! The staff is wonderful, kind and attentive. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The area near and the pool itself are nice spots to hangout and relax. Breakfast contains a variety of dishes, Tanzanian as well as European. I highly recommend to stay here!

We had a wonderful experience, we were in a deluxe room that had two twin beds and two sofas the next we moved to a family room that had one queen size and one single, one large sofa, a dining table and kitchenette. It was an amazing place. Service was excellent and the food was good. The restaurant works all night so you can order at anytime. Staff are really friendly.

I stayed here with 2017 at the end of my Tanzania safari.The service was AMAZING, the host was so friendly. We were exhausted from our journey and a worker ran out to buy us hair conditioner! I will never forget.The rooms were so clean and comfortable, the showers hot, the food delicious. I hope in my heart to come back one day. Thank you so much!

Green Mountain Hotel is really GREEN in terms of service, room cleanliness, appetizing dishes and welcoming guards. All these are affordable since the hotel is pocket friendly, The hotel is located in a cool quite place free from noise from the crowd and the city endeavors I found the place fit for mental work and you get that piece of mind while there..

My family of four (4) stayed in two (2) Executive Rooms from 23rd to 31st December 2018 (9 nights) and the experience was awesome. The rooms were big, beautifully done and very clean. The staff were very courteous and helpful.Kudos to the Doris (Incharge of Marketing) for confirming our booking and ensuring we were fine during the stay. The video for Christmas wishes was great and beautiful surprise.Recommendation - Breakfast was great. However, more space and staff may be considered as the number of guests increase for smooth/fast flow.God granting us another opportunity, we will certainly choose Green. Mountain Hotel.

Its a great place to stay in Arusha. The hotel has good location close but away from the city noise. It has lovely garden where you can enjoy buffet breakfast or freshly cooked dinner. There is a small swimming pool which in June had cold water. The room was specious and clean, the bathroom well equipped also with hot water. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Compering to other hotels for that price its a very good deal.

Ok hotel with 24h security, we felt quite safe inside. However very noisy inside as the rooms are poorly isolated. Breakfast ordered for 6am was not ready as promised. Nice pool.The staff at the reception sold us a SIM card promising a 4G internet in the safari parks. The reality was an almost no connection in the safari and very poor connection in the main cities. Big disappointment

I used the pool area as a non-resident guest. Reasonable service on the meals and snacks served. Free wi-fi with good speed. It is a small pool. The changing rooms need serious improvement.

Great Hotel, good price for the room. Theyre clean, confortable beds, and spacious. Internet is a little intermittent. I could receive emails, but could not send. The staff is very helpful and nice. The restaurant is good, lots of food selection.

First night was a disaster... A tiny room, no closet, a broken shower and, AWOL night staff... Not fun.On a positive note, very helpful manager (moved is to a better room - despite having to pay more) once he learned of our disastrous night.

Amazing very beautiful place to go alone, with your lovely one or your family, I loved their pizza and the whole service was good.

What I like:The hotel is not far from the centre of the city.The room was big and comfortable.The hotel restaurant has a varied menu at affordable price which is good if you dont want to leave the hotel (pizzas are good).Friendly staff. The let us stay a couple of hours after check out.What I didnt like:The shower drain was not working well.Wifi speed is not great.I asked reception where I could buy a local sim card, they said one guy from the staff could get it for me, what a nightmare, I gave him 20 dollars to buy two sim cards (Airtel) with an specific data plan. After a couple of hours waiting, he gave them to me and none of them worked. A lot of excuses, in the end, only one of the worked and I had to go to the store the next day to buy another sim card. Please do yourself a favor and go to the store (in the centre of the city not far from the hotel) and buy the card yourself, its cheaper and without problems, we spent a lot of time with this.

Friendly staff and great rooms and breakfast. However, the rooms have no mosquitonet, no matter how much they spray, the will enter. Its a bit far from town, but you can always take a daladala or taxi. The swimming pool is great!

The reception was kind. The people we met spoke good English, which is not standard in Tanzania. The restaurant does not have half of the proposed dishes on the menu. It was a large menu though. The beds were comfortable but the room and the hotel in general looks and feels outdated.

This is a good place to stay for short stop. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was solid and good, the room simple but clean.

Room was filled with Fleas, requested for the room to be cleared but nothing was really done, unfortunately the hotel was sold out so had to stay up all night as the fleas were all over the bed and walls.

Was not happy with our stay. Some staff was helpful but incompetent other staff were just unhelpful. The restaurant was a mess, and noisy. The spaghetti was Indian curry.

Anthony is the most warm and welcoming person in the world. His hotel is very well located and it has a nice swimming pool. We will definetely go back one day!
