This place has potential but unfortunately they didnt deliver. We stayed here for a conference so there were many guests and they had hardly any staff around. This was felt as the hotel lobby and our room were very dirty. They didnt have enough supplies for every room like mosquito nets and towels. And mosquito nets were a necessity cause this place was literally swarming with mosquitos. My daughter got covered with bites from head to toe after two hours without a net. Service was very slow. Youd ask for water and get it an hour or two later. We asked for towels and never got any. The pool and location were the two positives about this place but they didnt come near to outweighing the negatives. I hope they can make some improvements in the future because it is a nice piece of property in a good location.

Went to enjoy the pool, was very peaceful, clean, great view of Mt. Meru. Helpful staff. Food and drink was very good and came in a decent time. Hidden gem in Arusha.

They have nice enviroment with poor services. I went for swimming, I with my friend, and we paid for two people. A friend of mine couldnt swimm due to health reason, so we asked for refund for one person. They refuse to return money, and even they refuse to give us receipt for the money we paid.

Tonnes of potential in this place. Slow service, breakfast options are very limited. My group transfer left me even though i told the reception staff I was grabbing my luggage and despite being on time. They cab do better.Great views from the rooftop though

It was perfect, the view of Mt. Meru, the place is quite and romantic. Its a new place but wont regret to visit. Located at ndorobo road, Arusha. Dodoma road way to Kisongo before Arusha airport.

The place is so wonderful

Fairly new place, you can tell it’s a newly built hotel. Feels like the Chinese constructed it.Very close to Arusha airport and 26 KM to Arusha town from here.The rooms were okay and clean though no hot water for shower. Felt like I was the only one staying at the hotel, looks like they don’t have many people coming in yet they have managed to keep the place running.The staff are friendly, when I say staff I mean the one receptionist, one waiter and one cook, that’s all they need really as not too busy.The biggest let down for me was the food. They have a menu that has half the things missing when you ask for them and took 2 hours to prepare my dinner with the only simple dish they had available. Breakfast is very simple, a choice of eggs, beans and sausage, plain in taste.The price for accommodation is 100 $ a night breakfast included which I feel is a little much for this place. I rank this a 2 star hotel and at max the price should be 60$.

Fabulous hotel in a country setting just outside Arusha City. Staff very courteous u0026 helpful. Food lovely. Though the rainy season the hotel wasnt busy so felt we had it all to ourselves. We stayed 4 night u0026 would definitely recommend a stay here. I hope to return on my next visit to Tanzania

This is a hotel just a short distance from town and l would recommend to those that enjoy a peaceful afternoon out of town..a good swim, as well as a time to enjoy with loved ones.The views are amazing as you feel you are on top and can see miles across and a stunning view of Mt. Meru when its clear.The breeze makes it a nice stay especially on a hot afternoon, though can turn abit chilly at the swimming pool when its cooler.A1 was a lovely surprise for us and we just had to go back with family as its a kid friendly place. The pool is big and so clean, the restaurant serves good and hot meals..especially the pizza. Theres also a kids playing area with swings and so adults can enjoy their quiet time.The hotel is rarely full and so a beautiful place to just step away from the hustle and noise in main town.The staff are friendly from the gate keepers, reception to restaurant.

A1 hotel is located in the outskirts of Arusha City about 9 km from the City Centre.It is about 2 km from Arusha airport at a hillside giving one of the best views of Mount Meru, the second highest in Tanzania. You can also get the best view of the aircraft taking off and landing.The cottages are wonderful and the main building offers fantastic room services.

How this hotel got three stars is questionable. Even after repeated requests, there was no warm water on the third day either. Breakfast is only served when the chef isnt busy and you ask at reception. Flies in the fruit at breakfast are apparently normal, as is using broken eggs in the omelet. Not to mention the cleanliness. I do not recommend this hotel at all and would not set foot in it again.
