Extremely clean all the time. The staff is very kind and welcoming, as well as helpful with any questions about local areas to eat and visit, or just how to get around. The hostel is located directly in the heart of the city. I stayed for 2 weeks for a volunteer trip and would do it again. Highly recommend staying here during your stay in Arusha!!
We stayed only one night at this hostel, but it was a really nice surprise. The manager happily welcomed us in spite of the fact that we arrived very late at night. Very clean and cosy rooms with tasteful bedsheets. The living room offers enough space to easily accommodate 8-10 persons. Next morning the people here made their best to offer us the most tasteful and healthiest breakfast one could wish for. The photos describe it better. :) Thank you for the great service and your authentic kindness!😊🤗
We had an incredible time at Siret Hostel. Pearl was incredible at communication before and during the trip. She arranged travel to and from the airport for us and also arranged for our safari. The accommodations were clean and lovely. We had breakfast of fruit, eggs and toast every morning when we woke up and it felt like we were a part of the family. The staff was kind and friendly. Couldnt have had a better stay. Until next time... thanks Pearl and Emmanuel
Well received. Great banter. Clean and very quiet.
I stayed in this hostel for 3 months during my internship in Tanzania. One of the most welcoming places I have ever stayed at - from the staff to the atmosphere. It became a home away from home for myself and other travellers who frequented the hostel when in the country.
Stayed here 5 days. its a beautiful house. Very clean and I enjoyed my stay. it is a homely environment. Thanks pearl and Happiness for making my stay homely.
The place is ok for one night stand, but if you plan to stay longer, consider below:- taxi between hotel and city center is around 10 USD. You can save money staying in city center- staffs are not friendly (you will mind while staying more then one night)- slow wifi, sometimes does not work- dont take tours provided by hostel, its rip-off- just one toilet for all the rooms and apartments.- the stuffs try to cheat, if they see you are western european/north america/australian tourists having moneyI do not recommend this place, but like some other people in the area, they are trying some tricks to get extra money from you. In my case, saying I destroyed something and pushing me to pay for something I did not do.
The side road to Siret is in a terrible condition but once you get there youll be surprised how great the house looks. The hostel looks fresh, modern and is the cleanest hostel Ive been in so far (first I was pissed that I had to take my shoes off, but it really pays off, now I think more hostels should do that). We spontaneously got a double room which was really nice and spacious. For 5000 TZS I got a quick laundry service. In the evening we were told that we have to leave the room next morning (wanted to stay two nights) because there was a problem with the booking. So that was a hassle because all other hostels were super expensive for one night. But the boss cooperated and gave us two dorm beds without a price increase, which was very nice. In the evening we had a fantastic wali na maharage dinner, probably the best I had in five months in Africa. Moreover, the breakfast was super delicious and included.(Edit) oh, and I loved that the staff lady was asking if we eat meat, eggs, etc... Because Im vegan and usually I have to annoy every hostel with twenty instructions, so it was super nice that I for once wasnt the first one to inquire about that haha
Great hostel, totally recommended! Rooms were clean, hot shower, awesome breakfast! Staff is friendly and helpful!

Very nice place. For a budget tourist, this is a find. There are separate rooms for couples, and shared for single tourists. In the courtyard there is a lounge area with tables, and a place where you can soak up the sun. There is a kitchen where you can prepare food or drink. Delicious breakfasts with fruit, toast and omelet.
Price, excellentTreatment, excellentRecommended, totallyI liked it a lotIts very coolI liked itFor getting a butThe driveway, but dont forget. Its africa
I love it here.Clean rooms, showers and toilets, etc. When I came, the single room was occupied by long-term guests, so I used the dormitory, but I wondered if even the dormitory could be this good. And I used it for 1 night before and after the safariI came late in the evening afterAt first, I inquired over the phone and told me that I would go, but if there is no way to go, I could come to pick you up.I wasn’t good at coming in because it’s rainy seasonStill, I don’t think there’s any better place than here.Unless you are sending it from a hotel, resort or lodgeSyret Hostel would be a very, very good choice!!
The hostel makes a very safe impression. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hostel has a WG character. The breakfast was a lot of fruit and compared to our other hostels a bit more extensive. We were able to leave our luggage in the room during our tours (unfinished). All valuables are included in a safe. The temporary storage of luggage has cost no extra charge. The staff was always very friendly and recognized us after several tours.
Not clean, low price
I have nothing to say it was good
