Had an awesome experience learning to scuba dive with Fidel and his padawan dive master Christina. Had intro lesson with Fidel in the ocean and I was hooked on first try. Signed up for two dives for the following morning. The first dive the 5 of us beginners were watched like hawks by the three dive masters until they were sure we were comfortable and had the hang of things.The second dive, I have to admit was a lot more relaxed and I enjoyed it even more. Thanks to SoobaDo I am now hooked.

Professional diving centre next to Kendwa Rocks Hotel. Don’t mistake it for the hotel’s scuba centre called Zanzibar Watersports.Scuba Do is a five star PADI centre and offers snorkeling, as well. I went for the advanced PADI course and did the theory online at home so I could immediately go for the real thing.My scuba instructor was Adam, a very experienced and calm guy who took the time for the pre-dive briefings. We selected our five dives together, including a night dive, and finished it in two days.Boats are very fast, equipment good. No toilet on board. Plenty of water bottles and of course do not use layers of sunscreen before diving since it will not do aquatic life much good. Assemble at 9, back after the dives around 2:00 - 2:30.Toilet at the centre is at the adjacent hotel.Dive sites are amazing: turtles, sea horses, stone fish, all the tropical fish you’ve seen on Nemo’s and squids at the night dives. We are so happy we chose Scuba Do Zanzibar as our dive shop to help get us Advanced Open Water Certified. Haji #1 was our instructor for the 3 days and put together 6 nice dives for us including Mnemba Atoll. Communication was clear and easy, the fast boats were welcomed, especially for the longer trip to Mnemba. The ONLY con was the newness of their equipment, it was all in fine working condition, just a little tired. Also, we were happy we had our own masks, but overall, we were very happy with the entire crew and the great dive sites.

Hi - Im the Danish doctor running the Dive Chamber on Zanzibar. A friend of mine made me aware of the negative review by Arno Scholtz below, and although I almost never write on various review sites, I feel that I need to make an exception here and correct a few clearly false statements:i) Scuba Do DOES have well equipped First Aid kits (including oxygen tanks) on ALL their dive boats. I know because I have dived with them multiple times.ii) Scuba Do is a very safety conscious dive center - and the managers have on multiple occasions done a heroic effort to help sick and injured people - locals as well as foreigners.I am myself a married man with two small kids and always try to stay safe.I would dive with Scuba Do any day.

Had an amazing diving experience getting both my Open and Advanced Open Water with Scuba Do! Professional and happy staff that made me feel safe during the whole process but at the same time making it enjoyable while also meeting so many new people around the world! Sat my open water divers test at scuba do with Adam as my instructor. I had the best time with the friendly staff and beautiful pristine waters. I cant recommend it enough and i cant wait to come back!

Dec 2017:No complaints about the staff they were very nice and good divers!The speedboat is great because it cuts around 2hrs off of the excursion.Ps. their competitors next door give you lunch included also for the same price.

We have been scuba diving with these guys. They were really awesome! Everything was great we cannot complain.
