Went for the pool, it was green so we didnt use it (5.000tsh pp). Had a beer and try to play in the pool table, many balls missing and they still wanted to charge for using it. Location is quiet. Very run down resort.

For those looking for quite place with cool ocean air, this is the perfect place.

Took the kids swimming in the pool. Water was very nice, perfect temperature. No nasty bleach smell. Did not stay at the hotel but enjoyed dinner there. Beer was cold and the fish was great with chips which are french fries and not potato chips. English influence. The changing room needed some attention to detail (cloth hooks and shower head ). Did not visit the rest rooms. The outside dinning area has an awesome roof structure. Taxi from Hotel to south of town about TZS 15.000 (about US$ 7,00). We will be back on our next visit to Tanga. Fun part was seeing the birds eating the mangos from the top branches. They know they taste great.

It an ideal place for family stays for longer than a weeks time. Good friendly youthful staff.

I didnt stay there, but just explored options by going to places. Reasonable prices, nice roomy rooms, pool, AC, good wifi connection everywhere (using APs), nice outside restaurant with beers and a good menu. Some rooms have their view on the sea farther away. A bit far from anything, but therefore also very quiet.

Best place super privacy swimming area

Its not a bad place just it seems like a hotel forgotten by time and services. You have to search for a person to attend to you even on the front desk. Compared to other hotels at its price range it leaves alot to be desired. It needs landscaping and better services for it looks like it could easily become a 5 star with the right care.

This hotel was good ten years ago. this time is dirty old no proper management. sorry

After many stays in Eastern Africa and just as many overnight stays in different guest houses, it was a huge disappointment after a long time. Staff sluggish, uninterested. Waited over 1 hour for food that didnt even taste good.As a small consolation we paid the local price for the room and not for foreign guests

It is a very quiet hotel. With an interior space of patio-garden with a huge pergola to eat or be. It is far from the center of Tanga but it makes up for the Ocean Drive area. Having views of the Pacific and Yambe Island is great.The staff is friendly. Young not very professional but with a lot of interest in attending. To highlight a senior senyor, perhaps the veteran of the establishment, who is attentive to everything and everyone!

In the restaurant large rich menu, but in real there is very little choice of food. Service made a very unqualified impression.
