The room and the hotel were nice and clean and the dinner was good.The meager one stars because we really had lots of problems with the service and costs.Firstly the cleaning service took out clothes from the bathroom and washed them, even though we didnt ask for it and they asked almost 15 USD for only some clothes. After much discussion and proof that we didnt even sign the laundry form, we didnt have to pay for it.Secondly we didnt have any running water during the day on our second day due to maintenance - and no compensation for this.Thirdly the manager told us that we have to pay only 80,000 tsh per night for three nights when we booked per telephone. When we came even the receptionist confirmed this as well but unfortunately we didnt pay directly when we first came and we didnt ask for a written bill directly. When we wanted to pay after two nights staying there, they suddenly said that we have to pay 90,000 tsh per night plus other fees, so in total almost 100,000 tsh per night. We had to argue so much until we could actually get the price we actually agreed on from the beginning. After this we decided to leave and shorten our visit in this hotel from 3 to only 2 nights. Bad experience!So if you want to stay in this hotel and the manager offers you some special price, make sure you pay upfront and dont let them coax you with special offers.

The hotel is really homely as the name. Good location,has very spacious rooms, well lit , clean and well kept. The staff are very professional and charming. My credit to Tatu and Tina.The breakfast was very healthy.One downside is the linen. The management should buy new linen particularly towels.

Hotel situated in a convenient location rooms r spacious but i hv a grievance the quilt cover was extremely dirty in our two booked rooms the towels bore holes and looked worn out during chk out i brought it to the notice of the staff at the reception one word was given -- sorry --when asked for a discount or compensation again sorry was the answer

A very nice hotel, that Covid-19 has not broken yet friendly staff and great views from the top, very reasonably priced as well once back after this all will be great again, and I will be back.

Good rooms the only bad thing is the transparent glass partition between the bathroom and the bedroom. Not ideal if you have kids staying with you

Staff are friendly and attentive, and rooms are clean and spacious. Wifi however is not strong in the rooms and its location make it a bit noisy at night with passing traffic.

Not too bad for a short stay in Tanga one of the drawbacks i would say is that the hotel does not have a lift so if you have an elderly person with you then its not ideal for him or her.
